A-Xuan spent the two weeks before shooting the Emperor’s consort, working on his new album. He was basically locked every day in the studio, at Tian Records. He never saw Caitian, since he’s been actively avoiding him.

He deleted all the dates recorded in their mutual calendar to let him know that they were done. He had a deal with the original, not him. Thankfully he never showed up at his door again.

He didn’t see him but Caitian sure did, and every day at that. A few days after he tossed him out of his house he felt a shift. He was coming back from the studio when he felt cameras.

Only his husband would do that, in every life. Unless they started to date early on, even then he liked to watch him work on his computer while he himself worked. He has a hard time understanding him in this life.

All he knows is that he had a difficult childhood, and Ambrose helped him get through it. In the OG TL after they married, he made a speech at a gala inaugurating Ambrose for being a fairy advocate, in that speech he said that he saved him.

He never said precisely how, so that’s how much A-Xuan knows. The day he entered this world, he reached out to him to see his memories but he stopped him before he could.

But he did say that during the time they were filming the Emperor’s consort, he helped him a little with his aversion to touch.

Now that he decided to leave the planet after he’s done destroying Ambrose, he doesn’t care if the same thing happens again. It’s not like he’s in love with him in this life, Caitian has given him zero reasons to be.

A-Xuan was in his car with Alstone on the way to Tian entertainment. He has to go to try on his costumes since the shooting starts tomorrow. A-Xuan got out of the car when the two bodyguards were in place.

The building was swarming with fans, protesters, and reporters. Ever since they announced that he’ll be playing the consort in the tv show, he’s been on the news every day.

All his fans and fairies were happy, but then they were those who thought that he should stay in his lane. They thought that he should already be happy to be a superstar and that he shouldn’t push his luck.

Ambrose paid to have a lot of people trash him, and say that he was going too far. The funny thing is that Ambrose wants the same. He doesn’t care about the fairy’s rights, he just wants them to worship him.

After A-Xuan entered the building with difficulty, he sat waiting for Alstone to check with the reception. He got up and followed him to the elevator when he waved at him.

When he walked out he was led to a room with a lot of ancient costumes. A-Xuan entered, and after saying hello to the head of the costume department, he walked to check the racks.

He caressed them with a smile on his face. It was when wearing robes like that that he found out that his husband was the Architect.

Caitian was at the entrance looking at A-Xuan with a smile on his face. From all the times he surveilled him, he never saw him smile except when he played music.

After he found out that it was A-Xuan in his dreams, he couldn’t stop thinking about him. Actually, he couldn’t stop thinking about him since that morning he left after slamming his door.

He was so charmed by his beautiful smile, that he didn’t hear the head of the costume department talking to him. When he was about to reach for his arm he took a step back alert.

He looked at him angrily.

"Sorry president, I kept calling you but you didn’t hear me."

"We’re all next door, send them with every costume on."

The man said with a dirty smile.

"Or you could all come here. He’s a fairy I’m sure he doesn’t mind if you look at him undressing."

A-Xuan turned to watch his new prey. He heard their conversation, he just had no interest. He narrowed his eyes and walked toward him.

He smiled at the beastman seductively as he took out a vial in his pocket. He tossed it over his head, A-Xuan looked at all the fairy dust falling in his eyes with a malicious smile.

After screaming and rubbing his eyes, he turned to look at A-Xuan. A-Xuan said:

"How about you walk around the city naked? Never put on clothes."

The beastman nodded and stripped. When he was naked he left. A-Xuan shook his head with disgust at his body.

He walked back to the racks his back to Caitian informing:

"All the costumes are marked with the specific scenes so I won’t need him. I’ll come when I put on the first one."

Caitian looked at his back for a few seconds and left closing the door behind him. A-Xuan kept going back and forth between the two rooms with a different costume on.

After the writer of the book and the different costume specialists and producers were happy, he left to put back his clothes.

Every time he would go back and forth, he would see Alstone looking at the elevator expectantly. He knows he has a crush on Dain, and he’ll definitely help him.

Even when the original’s career went south and he was assigned a new artist, he still helped him look for a new record label.

Alstone was depressed for a long time when he find out he killed himself, he knew that the original would never work in a brothel. He was scared he would hurt himself, and he felt guilty when it happened.

Alstone just like Dain is a faerie and a good one at that. They’re very similar when it comes to personality, they’re both sweet and a little naive.

They both should be with someone who will be sweet to them, and it’ll never happen if they both marry another faerie.

Plus A-Xuan saw the way Dain blushed when he was leaving the audition when he saw Alstone. He knows he likes him too, so setting them up should be easy.

When the elevator doors opened, and Alstone saw Dain he immediately sat down and looked in front of him. Dain walked to him, he seemed a little nervous.

He sat next to him and murmured:

"Hey."

Dain looked at Alstone’s beautiful moon-shaped eyes. He really thinks that he’s one of the most beautiful faeries he has ever met, with his curly dark hair, his bristly eyebrows, his little nose, and pouty lips.

Alstone looked at him rubbing his neck and murmured:

"Hey, how are you?"

"I’m okay. You?"

"I’m okay I’m just busy managing A-Xuan."

Dain murmured disappointedly:

"Oh, I see."

Alstone looked at Dain’s disappointed face, confused as to what happened.

A-Xuan listened to their conversation with an amused smile. Clearly, Dain wants to spend time with Alstone but he basically told him he has no time. I’m sure that dummy has no idea what he did wrong.

He finished dressing and before he could open the door, Caitian entered and closed the door behind him. A-Xuan looked at him expressionlessly, waiting for him to say what he has to say.

His heart softened a little when he saw guilt and shame all over his face. He still waited indifferently. Caitian didn’t know what to say or do for that matter.

He asked meeting his eyes and then looking away.

"How are you?"

Don’t you already know? That’s what A-Xuan wanted to answer but he simply said.

"I’m fine."

Caitian approached him meeting his eyes. He caressed his cheek, his movement light as a feather. A-Xuan felt a shot of electricity, fuck! He is such a sucker when it comes to him.

A-Xuan grabbed the hand that was caressing his cheek and then laced their hands. He looked down at them for a few seconds then met Caitian’s hopeful eyes. Uggh, why are you so annoying?

When he heard footsteps approaching, he let go of his hand and left before the person could open the door. He passed Ambrose ignoring him completely and got into the elevator.

Ambrose looked at his retreating back with anger. So what he’s too good to say hi? Once he takes his place he’ll make him pay. The thing that worries him is that his contact with Caitian has been minimal since the audition.

He saw his happy and excited face when he saw him so he just thought it was because he was busy.

He can’t be the richest man on the planet while playing around. Once he helps him become the biggest singer on Zephyr, they’ll both run the planet together. Everyone who ever doubted me will pay dearly starting with A-Xuan.
