A-Xuan woke up and gazed upward to see Kyrios holding him tightly, as if he was afraid he might run away.

Using CF, A-Xuan scanned his body and discovered that he had become a god. He sat up abruptly and shook Kyrios vigorously, causing him to awaken.

Kyrios sat up and asked, "Are you okay?"

A-Xuan yelled, "What did you do?"

Kyrios explained, "I granted you godhood by transferring half of my power to ensure your strength."

A-Xuan gazed at him in shock and stood up from the bed. Kyrios attempted to approach, but A-Xuan took a step back.

A-Xuan began to hyperventilate and his eyes became moist. "Why would you do something so reckless?"

Kyrios desired to move closer but restrained himself. "I did not want you to feel vulnerable any longer. I wished for you to feel secure."

A-Xuan wiped his tears and shouted in a trembling voice, "What will you do if someone tries to kill you? You have lost half of your power."

"Even though I have granted you half of my power, I am still 200 times stronger than all the other gods combined. Even if they were to join forces, they would not be able to oppose me. And they cannot oppose you either."

Upon hearing this, A-Xuan calmed down a bit. He closed his eyes for a moment, turned around, and departed.

Kyrios asked, "Can you please not hate me?" A-Xuan paused, then turned to face him. This entire situation had been too much for him, and he needed space. Before Kyrios could approach him, A-Xuan vanished.

He materialized in a verdant field, sat on the grass, and buried his head in his legs. A-Xuan remained there for the entire day and returned home after dark.

He made certain to conceal his power and entered the house. A-Xuan went to the dining room and noticed that Zheng had already begun eating.

A-Xuan asked, "Did someone drop the bottle of wine?"

Zheng answered, "It’s in the kitchen, on the counter."

A-Xuan nodded and left. Zheng asked, "Aren’t you hungry?"

A-Xuan turned and said, "I’m not. I’m tired, so I’ll go to bed early. And tomorrow I’ll leave home early too."

Zheng nodded. A-Xuan left to get the bottle of wine and walked up the stairs. He entered his room and put the bottle on his desk.

He took a shower and got into bed, but he couldn’t sleep. At 2 am, A-Xuan stood up and disappeared. He appeared in Kyrios’ bedroom, finding the bed in the same state as earlier.

Using CF, A-Xuan discovered that he was in the creation room. A-Xuan frowned, Kyrios was sitting on a throne in front of a big white orb, his head bowed.

A-Xuan appeared in front of Kyrios, who immediately looked up. Seeing how upset A-Xuan was made Kyrios’ heart clench. A-Xuan was crying and looked just as sad as earlier.

Kyrios opened his arms, and A-Xuan walked to him and sat on his lap. Kyrios’ heartbeat quickened, and he held on to him tight.

He was frightened he wouldn’t see him again. After a while, A-Xuan pulled back and looked into Kyrios’ eyes.

Kyrios wiped his tears and said, "I’m so sorry."

A-Xuan swallowed. He knew that it wasn’t Kyrios’ fault. Being at Astra’s mercy and not being able to do anything made him feel the same way he did before.

He didn’t feel safe and had no powers. A-Xuan couldn’t even close his eyes at night. Now that he has power, he feels more like himself.

A-Xuan said, "Being in a place surrounded by people who can crush me like an ant made me feel unsafe. Astra could’ve killed me in a heartbeat, and I wouldn’t have been able to do anything to stop her. I don’t like feeling weak. Having power means having control, and I need that."

After suffering for so long, the only way he would have peace of mind is if he was sure to be the most powerful.

A-Xuan wouldn’t use his power to destroy innocent people, but others would and had. He almost died, and then he would’ve had to start all over.

Being so close to victory and in the place where Gege wants them to spend eternity, to the thought of being sent back to the beginning, was too scary for A-Xuan. He felt as powerless as he did when Fyo abducted and bound him to CF.

Kyrios asked, "Why didn’t you tell me? I would’ve made you a god yesterday."

A-Xuan looked down, but Kyrios lifted his head and asked, "Did you not trust me because I’m a god?"

A-Xuan replied, "I don’t trust gods, but I trust you. It was only when Astra had her hand around my neck that I realized why I couldn’t sleep and why I felt so unsafe."

Kyrios apologized, saying, "I swear I had no idea she had those kinds of thoughts about me." 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

A-Xuan asked, "Why would you even invite me to breakfast with her here?"

"I forgot she was coming, and no one told me when she arrived," Kyrios explained.

A-Xuan looked into his eyes and then away. Kyrios asked, "Do you still hate me?"

Kyrios relaxed upon hearing that A-Xuan didn’t hate him, and A-Xuan continued, "I only said that because I was angry."

A-Xuan then revealed that Fyo had said that Astra was Kyrios’ only friend and that they always had breakfast together.

The thought that Kyrios might have a connection with someone else and have shared intimate moments with her broke A-Xuan’s heart.

He had never been with anyone before, and all A-Xuan’s firsts were with Kyrios. The fact that Astra, the person Kyrios had all his first with made A-Xuan feel weak, was the cherry on top.

Kyrios frowned and lifted A-Xuan’s head. "That’s not true," he said. "Astra would come two times a week, and I would teach her. She would ask me questions, and I would answer. There was nothing more to it. I didn’t feel anything for her."

A-Xuan gazed into his eyes and knew he was telling the truth. He looked down and murmured, "The entire realm believed she was the only one who could make you feel and that she was special to you."

Everyone thought there was something between Kyrios and Astra because she was the only one who could get close to him.

But Kyrio’s behavior at the arena with him revealed the truth, and they all realized that there was nothing special between them. Gege belongs to A-Xuan and no one else.

It angered A-Xuan to see Astra act like Kyrios was hers. Kyrios murmured, "The only soul who makes me feel is yours, A-Xuan."
