Chapter 79: 8.2 Puppetmaster

A-Xuan woke up early and hopped into the shower. When he was dressed he left for the wraith forest. He walked leisurely enjoying the silence and the birds chirping.

When he reached the tree he was attached to yesterday he leaned against it and closed his eyes. When he heard footsteps approaching he opened them and saw two strong men coming his way.

When they saw him leaning against the tree with a smile on they seemed surprised.

"What? You thought I would still be asleep and tied to the tree?"

The two men looked at each other panicked. They know Huang Xiaoming is the heir to the throne and that he has power.

If he finds out that when they came A-Xuan was awake and free he’ll think it’s because they came late. They can’t afford to piss off a prince when they are just 5 tiered witches. They looked at each other and nodded.

They plan on knocking him out and pretending he wasn’t awake when they came. They ran toward him but after a few steps, their body was immobilized in the air hanging slightly above the ground.

A-Xuan approached them and casted as light emanated from his hand:

"People with nefarious intentions don’t get to make their own decisions."

The two men looked at him with fear but before they could say something A-Xuan said viciously:

"Puppets of mine you now both are, you’ll do as I say until no longer you are."

A-Xuan threw the energy from his hand to them and ordered:

"You came in the wraith forest untied me and dropped me in my dormitory. Everything went as planned."

They unanimously said:

"Yes, Puppetmaster."

A-Xuan waved his hands, dropped them, and turned to leave.

A-Xuan watched their retreating back with a smile. Today he isn’t planning on going to school, he has to quit his job, buy a new cellphone and computer and look for an apartment not too far from Divine U.

He would’ve preferred to create a company and have someone run it so he can live comfortably for the rest of his life but he can’t. The original’s dream was to graduate from a prestigious university.

A-Xuan wouldn’t destroy what he worked so hard for. The orphanage’s condition was awful but the original suffered in silence so he could have a better future.

Unfortunately, he had the misfortune of meeting the protagonist. I will destroy father and son for sure.

A-Xuan spent the entire day running around. He found a furnished apartment close to Divine U and he’ll move in two days. He quit his underpaying job as well.

The original was like a slave at that potions shop. He worked incredibly long hours for miserable pay. Everyone would always take advantage of him and it was the same at the shop.

After buying enough technology to soothe his soul A-Xuan walked to the administration building.

Since the original has no parents or legal guardians they need the signature of the school to officially rent the apartment.

A-Xuan was planning on hypnotizing the owner but if it got out it would be bad. Knowing Huang Xiaoming he would use anything against him.

Speaking of which he spent all day calling him. A-Xuan changed his cellphone number so he wouldn’t deal with anyone from the original’s life.

The people around him were all users, they only know how to take advantage of him. From his memory, A-Xuan couldn’t see even one person who genuinely loved him.

A-Xuan entered the hall, a woman was sitting behind a desk working on some papers.

He approached and asked:

"Hello, may I speak to the president?"

The woman looked up:

"Do you have an appointment?" 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

A-Xuan said in a small voice:

"I-I don’t but it’s really important."

"I can’t let you in without an appointment."

"C-Can you at least ask him if he’ll see me?"

The woman seemed to have lost patience.

Huang Xing was in his office working on his computer. With his dark hair gold eyes and his aquiline nose, he looked more like a model than a businessman.

His hand froze when he heard a sound. He walked to the door and opened it slightly.

He watched as his receptionist screamed:

"I’m not going to ask him anything. Come back again when you have an appointment."

The youth standing in front of her took a step back frightened. His eyelashes were trembling slightly and his green eyes were shining with unshed tears.

Huang Xing looked at him and ordered:

"Come in."

A-Xuan turned startled to look at the man who spoke. He didn’t move he just looked at him nervously.

Huang Xing said expressionlessly:

"Don’t make me repeat myself."

A-Xuan woke up and ran to his office. Huang Xing walked to his desk and watched him close the door behind him.

A-Xuan walked to the seat, he looked at him for a few beats then looked away.

"Sit."

A-Xuan sat looking at his hands.

"What’s your name?"

A-Xuan looked up:

"M-My name is A-Xuan."

"Why did you need to see me so urgently A-Xuan?"

He pushed a few papers in front of him and explained:

"I’m moving into an apartment in two days and I need the university’s signature since I’m not 21 yet."

Huang Xing looked at the youth intently but he looked away again after a few seconds.

"Why don’t you ask your parents to sign?"

The youth looked at him his eyes shining with sadness and whispered:

"I-I don’t know them, I was raised in an orphanage."

Huang Xing looked at his sad face interested.

He likes the way he looks physically and he likes how obedient he is. He wouldn’t mind having fun with him for a while.

He took a pen and while signing the papers he asked:

"Where’s the address of your apartment?"

"W-What?"

Huang Xing pushed the signed papers to A-Xuan and handed him a stick note ordering:

"Write down the address."

A-Xuan looked at him anxiously, he opened his mouth to say something but then closed it, he did that several times.

"Do it now."

A-Xuan blinked fast, he looked down took a pen, and wrote the address. When he was done he handed it to him.

He looked down saying in a small voice:

"Thank you for seeing me president even if I didn’t have an appointment."

When he couldn’t hear anything he looked up meeting Huang Xing’s eyes. When A-Xuan felt uncomfortable to the extreme he got up awkwardly and walked to the door.

Huang Xing got up and closed the door when the youth tried to open it. A-Xuan turned and looked at him scared. His long eyelashes were fluttering and his green eyes were bright as stars.

Huang Xing trapped him with both his hand at the side of his head. He took a step back against the door. He swallowed and asked:

"P-President?"

Huang Xing caressed his cheek. Between his startled expression, his slightly opened mouth, and his blushing cheeks he looked like the most succulent prey.

Huang Xing took a step back and the youth used that opportunity to run away.
