"That’s good enough" Zeres mumbled.

"Javier was it? I’ll give you the first attack— if you manage to graze me, I’ll consider it your win." Zeres said flatly.

Javier gritted his teeth. "You damned vampire, you dare to—! "

"If you couldn’t even do that, you’ll have to be in the infirmary for three days." Zeres cutted.

"I’m still not done! " Javier shouted from his lungs.

"Condense and Reinforce. Earth Verse: Stone Gauntlet!"

Brown mana surged around his arm.

Layers of stone wrapped around his fist, forming a massive gauntlet etched with earthen runes.

The ground beneath his feet cracked as he clenched his hand.

The he lunged, his fist covered by a gauntlet looked like it can shatter any bones at the moment.

"Let’s end this you damned vampire—" Javier’s eyes widened.

Zeres casually extended his legs, then he slammed it straight at his fist— the earth gauntlet cracked, before shattering into pieces and turning until dust.

"How disappointing, I won’t use any spell on you." Zeres clicked his tongue, then he slammed his legs straight at his neck.

Javier’s eyes rolled back, then he dropped down the ground, unconscious.

"W-winner: Zeres! " the referee announced lately, the crowds were all silent.

"What was that movement he did? Is it a martial art?"

"There’s two customers there" Ryndol Informed, then he gave a mask to Zeres.

"I knew I could count on you two" Zeres smiled. "Go out sometimes, you two can enjoy some rest."

’This is a really long staircase’ he thought as his feet landed on the flat ground.

The place was completely different from what it used to be, there were a room beside the staircase— a room for the maids and retired knights or vagrants Ryndol had hired.

They all glanced up at him, then they bowed politely.

The place had now turned luxurious, a red carpet was on the ground, paintings hanging against the walls as one maid was cleaning the floor.
