The Demon with Holy Radiance
Chapter 421 - 279: Having Fun Punching the Air?
CRASH!
Qing Sha shattered all the chains binding him. Even as copious amounts of blood gushed from the hole in his chest, he forced the wound to regenerate and close.
But just then, Yang An appeared before him in a flash. Bathed in an all-encompassing light, he stared down at Qing Sha with the cold indifference of a god. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
That gaze... A gaze that looked down on him as if he were a mere ant. It instantly sent Qing Sha into a blind rage.
"Boundless Sea of Suffering!"
The Buddhist Mantras on his body leaped to life as a vast torrent of black energy burst from within him, surging forward to engulf Yang An like a monstrous tidal wave.
"Evil Extermination!"
Flashes of lightning suddenly erupted from within the black energy, carrying the dazzling might of the heavens. The thunder was immense. Even Qing Sha couldn’t avoid being wounded by his own terrifying lightning; in an instant, a gruesome gash tore open his flesh.
He had no intention of giving Yang An a single opening. Summoning a massive amount of lightning that wreathed his own body, he threw a vicious punch.
Blood sprayed from his wounds, gathering on his fist. It mixed with the lightning he unleashed, dyeing the crackling bolts a crimson red. This single strike of blood-lightning blasted a massive hole through the shroud of black energy.
The crimson lightning spread out, then vanished without a trace in the next instant.
Qing Sha gasped for breath, his eyes darting around, searching for something. The pressure from Yang An just a moment ago had been terrifying, filling him with an indescribable sense of dread.
Still, he was confident that no one could withstand such a terrifying onslaught. ’That guy can’t possibly have survived,’ he thought, and couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
But just then, a hand glowing with light suddenly—and without warning—pierced through his neck from behind. Qing Sha’s body jolted, his eyes filled with disbelief.
’When...?’
Fighting through the pain, he slowly turned his head. What met his gaze was that same look—the condescending stare one gives an ant.
"You..."
"Enjoying your fight with the air?"
Yang An asked coldly. The man had lost his mind, unable to even track his movements as he lashed out wildly.
He had to admit Qing Sha’s methods were powerful—the man even possessed a Thunder Technique.
But none of it had even grazed the hem of his clothes. It posed no threat to him whatsoever.
’And does this guy really think any of that could have hurt me, even with a direct hit?’
’Enough. Time to end this. How boring.’
In that instant, the light Yang An had been restraining erupted forth, engulfing Qing Sha completely.
Within the deep, boundless darkness, a colossal sun suddenly materialized.
A sun usually signifies new beginnings, the very symbol of life. But in this world, it also means destruction.
In its light, no evil could exist.
This "strongest Zombie God" was a laughable notion in the face of Yang An’s true power.
Qing Sha struggled desperately, unwilling to relinquish even the slightest sliver of hope. But as the terrifying light dissolved him, his physical body turned to ash at an incredible rate, unable even to let out a scream.
A mere two breaths later, Qing Sha was no more, utterly annihilated. As cracks began to spiderweb through the surrounding space, Yang An reverted to his normal form. The light rapidly faded, returning the world to quiet darkness.
A Demon Barrier emerged from the void, coming to a halt before Yang An. Qing Sha had likely been using a long-existing Buddhist Shrine, one that Yang An simply hadn’t seen.
The appearance of this Demon Barrier made Yang An suddenly remember something. He slapped his forehead, his face a mask of regret.
"Crap! There goes another Forbidden Artifact Fragment!"
