The Devil Who Claimed Me
Chapter 135: He drugged me
Dominic froze the moment he saw her. His expression darkened instantly, then worry flashed across his face. He rushed toward her and crouched beside her.
"Mila." He pulled her carefully into his arms.
"Is it really you?" she asked weakly, searching his face as though afraid she was hallucinating.
"It’s me," Dominic replied immediately, cradling her protectively.
His brows furrowed sharply as he noticed her flushed skin, trembling body, and torn dress sleeves.
"What happened to you? Why are you like this?"
Mila clutched his shirt tightly with trembling fingers. "He drugged me..."
Her condition worsened dramatically. The familiar scent of Dominic surrounded her, driving the drug deeper into her senses.
Heat rushed violently through her body.
Her breathing became shaky and uneven as she instinctively pressed herself closer to him, seeking relief from the unbearable burning sensation consuming her from within. Her fingers tightened desperately around his shirt.
"Dominic..." she breathed softly.
Her thoughts were becoming harder to control. All she could think about was him, his warmth, his touch, and his presence. Even her body instinctively reacted to him, craving pleasure.
Dominic immediately understood the kind of drug she had been given. Rage exploded inside him. His face turned terrifyingly dark.
Meanwhile, the man who had accidentally collided with Mila scrambled to his feet and tried to flee while Dominic’s attention remained on her.
But nothing escaped Dominic’s notice. From the corner of his eye, he saw the man running away. He pulled out his gun and fired.
The bullet sliced through the air soundlessly before striking the man’s leg.
"Ah..." The man collapsed instantly, screaming in agony.
At that exact moment, Ethan appeared at the end of the corridor. The second he saw the scene, all color drained from his face.
His legs froze. His body trembled violently. The anger he once felt toward Mila disappeared completely, replaced by overwhelming terror.
He instinctively turned to run.
"Move one more step, and you die." Dominic’s chilling voice echoed through the corridor.
Ethan froze instantly. Fear crushed his chest.
"P-Please don’t shoot," he stammered, raising both hands.
But he didn’t dare turn around.
The man groaning in pain on the floor made his fear worse.
Dominic’s voice became deathly cold. "What are you doing here?"
Ethan hesitated briefly. There was no way he could admit what he had done to Mila.
"I-I was just heading to my room," he lied shakily. "I didn’t know anything..."
"Lie again," Dominic interrupted dangerously, "and the next bullet won’t miss your heart."
A suffocating silence followed.
Then Dominic asked coldly, "Did you touch Mila?"
Ethan’s stomach dropped violently. He quickly shook his head. "No... I didn’t do anything. I don’t even know why she is here."
He assumed Mila was too drugged to understand anything anymore. But he was wrong.
Mila had not completely lost her senses. She clasped Dominic’s shirt and whispered, "He is lying. It’s him. He drugged me and dragged me into a room."
Sweat dripped down her forehead as her breathing turned ragged. "He tried to rape me. I barely managed to run away."
Dominic’s nostrils flared. His fingers tightened around the gun. "You bastard," he growled. "You dared touch her?"
The murderous aura around him became suffocating. "You are already dead."
Ethan finally turned around, horror flooding his face. Before he could beg for mercy, Dominic fired.
The bullet pierced straight into Ethan’s chest.
"Ah..."
Ethan’s eyes widened in horror as blood spread rapidly across his shirt.
Pain exploded through his body. His legs gave out beneath him. He collapsed heavily onto the floor.
Hearing the cries, Valentina and the other guards rushed over. They froze at the horrifying scene before them.
Two men lay writhing in pools of blood. And a few feet away was Dominic, cradling Mila protectively in his arms.
Before anyone could speak, Dominic’s furious voice thundered through the hallway.
"I trusted you to protect Mila." His gaze locked onto Valentina sharply. "And this is how you protected her?"
The atmosphere instantly turned suffocating.
"She was drugged. Left alone. And that bastard nearly violated her."
Valentina and the guards lowered their heads silently in shame. None of them dared defend themselves.
"This time, I’m not taking any action." Dominic’s face remained terrifyingly cold. "Clean this mess. And take them to the dungeon."
He lifted Mila into his arms and carried her into the room he had stepped out of moments earlier.
The moment he placed her gently on the bed, Mila grabbed his shirt tightly, refusing to let go. Her breathing was uneven and shaky. Her cheeks were flushed crimson, and sweat glistened across her burning skin.
"Dominic..." she whispered.
He crouched in front of her, trying to stay calm despite the state she was in.
"You were drugged. I’ll call a doctor."
He tried to pull away, but Mila clung to him harder.
"No..." she breathed desperately. "Don’t leave me."
"Mila—"
"I don’t want a doctor." Her fingers trembled as they curled around his collar. "I want you."
Dominic’s expression darkened.
The drug had completely destroyed her restraint. Her eyes were hazy, filled with desperate longing as she stared only at him.
"Please..." she begged. "Help me."
Dominic closed his eyes briefly. Every inch of him tightened painfully.
The woman he loved was beneath him, trembling, flushed, and begging for him with such desperate need. And he was still a man.
How long could he possibly restrain himself?
"Mila," he said hoarsely, trying to hold onto his control, "you don’t know what you are saying right now."
"Yes, I do."
She suddenly pushed herself forward and crashed against his chest. Her soft body pressed tightly against him as her fingers slid into his hair.
"I know it’s you," she whispered against his lips. "I only want you."
Then she kissed him wildly, desperately.
All the restraint inside Dominic snapped instantly. A low groan escaped his throat as he grabbed her waist tightly.
The kiss deepened almost immediately.
Mila kissed him like a woman starved, her trembling hands roaming across his shoulders and neck, pulling him impossibly closer. The drug burning through her veins had amplified every sensation until she could no longer think rationally.
All she knew was Dominic, his touch, his scent, his warmth, and the unbearable need that was consuming her from within.
"Dominic..." she whimpered against his lips. "Please..."
That pleading voice destroyed the last of his self-control.
Dominic captured her lips again fiercely, kissing her until neither of them could breathe properly. His hands roamed over her body possessively, pulling her flush against him as if he wanted to erase every trace of Ethan’s touch from her forever.
Mila arched against him immediately, a shaky gasp escaping her lips.
The reaction only drove Dominic crazier. He kissed along her jaw and neck roughly, his breathing turning heavier with every second.
Mila’s fingers dug into his shoulders as she tilted her head back helplessly.
"Dominic... don’t stop..." she begged breathlessly.
Dominic stared down at her.
Her hair was spread messily across the sheets. Her torn dress hung loosely off her shoulders, exposing flushed skin. And she was looking only at him with desperate need.
"You are driving me insane," he muttered hoarsely before crashing his lips onto hers again.
Mila wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, kissing him back just as fiercely.
The room quickly filled with ragged breathing, desperate kisses, and their groans and moans.
Dominic gave in completely.
Mila gasped sharply as Dominic buried himself inside her, his grip tightening around her waist possessively. He kissed her deeply while claiming her with all the pent-up longing, possessiveness, rage, and love.
The night became wild and consuming.
Mila lost herself completely in him, breathlessly begging for more whenever he tried to slow down.
And Dominic, driven mad by her need and his own desire, stopped holding back. He took her again and again with overwhelming intensity, as though trying to prove that she belonged only to him.
