Chapter 306: Two things to discuss

’’I can’t...’’ Ryle rasped, as he looked at Daisy who was on all fours, bent over the corner of the bed, ’’I fucking can’t...’’ He rammed into her, sending them both to the peak. As his release dripped down her thighs, he flipped her around, and climbed on top of her. He settled in between her legs and hugged her.

Daisy was breathless. Her body was filled with marks that made one feel sympathy for her.

’’Sorry, was that too rough?" Ryle was immediately consumed by guilt.

Daisy shook her head, running her fingers through his hair. It was more of pleasure than pain when he did it but her skin just had the tendency to bruise badly so he panicked right after.

’’We cannot be so loud again,’’ she said. Only she knew that she almost dropped her facade when Maria came up to her and told her about the rumor that was going about in the mansion regarding Ryle being a madman.

The time that servant incident happened, it was partly her fault. He seemed bothered by something so, Daisy, in an attempt to distract him, might or might not have gotten on her knees and offered him a.... blowjob.

He did not let her do it, of course, stating that he would shatter way too fast in her mouth. But he had grabbed her hair, pulled her up in for a rough kiss and bent her over the desk where she accidentally swept off a vase when she climaxed.

Given her sharp hearing, she caught it when the servant came and hid behind the curtains but in his frustration of not being able to kiss and cuddle her, Ryle had picked up the nearest vase to throw it at the guy who came to check on him.

When all was said and done, Ryle had just gotten way too gutsy and Daisy had no idea what the man was thinking anymore.

’’Why can’t we be loud?" Ryle looked at her before he got onto peppering her face with soft kisses.

Daisy pressed her palm on his mouth to stop him, ’’Tomorrow is the night of the party.’’

’’Mmm? What about it?" Ryle looked at her, ’’Are you jealous again, sweetheart?"

Daisy sighed, ’’What do you think?"

’’You know I belong to you, right?" Ryle kissed the palm that she had pressed on his mouth. It was absurd that people would even think of setting him up and more so absurd that Si Yena really thought she could do that.

’’I am not jealous,’’ Daisy rolled her eyes and pushed him off her, ignoring the pleading look in his eyes. Whatever he wanted to do here was not done yet and she could tell that. But, the man was already getting impatient even for his own plans. The look in his eyes told her that he just wanted to go back to Beijing and trap her in the Chen Mansion for eternity.

’’I was here for two things today but you...’’ Daisy paused when she reached that part.

’’Will you accuse me of seducing you?" Ryle whispered, sounding every bit of a pitiful man, ’’Will you not admit how desperately you wanted me...’’

Daisy shot him a cold look and the man finally shut up. Ryle sat up on the bed, grabbed his shirt and reluctantly put it on, ’’Did you find something?"

Daisy shook her head, ’’Not much. I have been trying to look into how Si Yena ended up here with Nathan but there are no leads to it.’’

’’He must have covered the tracks.’’

’’Probably,’’ Daisy nodded, as she put on the last layer of clothing and sat beside him, ’’But it is strange. These days, he has been busy and they are staying in different rooms.’’

Ryle scoffed, ’’He seems like he cannot wait to marry her.’’

’’From what I garnered from their and the servants’ behavior, Si Yena seems to be in mourning. for Nathan’s father.’’

Ryle’s gaze softened when he noticed the way Daisy had started addressing his father and grandfather. Initially, she did not address them by their names but probably a short time here had revealed to her the kind of existence they had in his heart.

"She is doing to show filial piety,’’ she said and looked at him questioningly when her words were met with silence.

Ryle snapped out of his daze and shook his head, ’’It’s ironic how the same woman did not hesitate to burn her family alive.’’

Daisy nodded, thinking back to the brutal way in which the entire Si Family perished. She had known Si Yena since she was young, and she had spent enough time with the Si Family to understand that they favored their son over their daughter anyday.

Even though they pretended to adore Si Yena, in times of crisis, they would always put their son first. As time passed by, the rift between them continued to grow and Si Yena became rebellious in nature in subtle ways. She would go ahead and do things that she was told not to do.

When Madam Si had blamed Daisy for Si Yena’s death in the Lu Family event, Daisy had not even known to what extent she was sincere or if it was just a plot on her part to drag her down. But they would not have expected they would meet their demise in such an unfortunate way.

Ryle saw her standing there, lost in her thoughts. He did not like it one bit when someone had Daisy’s attention in this way where she stood and thought about them, be it a man or a woman or some national crisis news.

It was better if she spent that time looking at him. Hence, he acted on his whims and yanked her into his arms, pinching her chin, tilting her face till her eyes met his. "What’s the other thing you wanted to talk about?"

’’Maria.’’

’’Who is that?" Ryle frowned. Did Si Yena perhaps go by a codename?

Daisy’s lips twitched. She gave the character traits to help him remember who Maria was.
