‎It’s been two days since I announced we were going on a trip, and today was the day we were leaving. The earlier two days had been used for preparations, procuring everything we would need for our trip. The trip was scheduled to last around four months.

Not only that, I also gave the rest some time to say goodbyes to their families, which somewhat brought an air of melancholy as only Bran still had family left in the team.

Though, I also still had family, that couldn’t be counted. I couldn’t even reveal myself to them at the moment.

‎ A minute later, I walked back to the others with seven tickets/ stones in hand. "The ship leaves in five hours, so you’re free to do anything you want in the meantime."

‎"Yay, let’s go check out everywhere, Bob." Pixie jumped in excitement. Sometimes I kind of forget she was just a kid, a little older than my Damon self was, agreed, but a kid nonetheless compared to the me in my past life.

‎Soon, the twins were bouncing away. I smiled watching that scene. How good would it be if I didn’t have to worry about all the things I worried about? But that would probably not end well both for me and for this world.

‎Alan and Hugo also soon slipped away, leaving only Vera, Bran and myself.

‎"Aren’t you two going to excuse yourself?" I asked turning to the two.

‎"Not in the slightest." Vera shook her head before smiling. "I plan on sticking with you." She said and Bran also nodded.

‎"So be it." I shook my head. I was planning on having some alone time before our departure, but it seems I was not going to get it.

‎"So, where are we really going? Kida city isn’t some vacation spot." Vera asked as she turned her back to me.

‎"Sigh, you two go on by yourself, we’ll meet up back at this spot a few hours later." I said quickly before vanishing into the bustling crowd.
