Chapter 2574: The battle was over

"Lords of Emptiness."

Those words echoed through the minds of the Curse Eaters like thunder rolling across an endless sky. Their eyes widened, and for the first time since the battle began, true shock rippled through their souls.

Although Adam could not directly march into the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, there had never been anything preventing him from leaving the Tenth Empyrean World and venturing into the Emptiness itself.

In fact, for a Fourth Realm life form, such a journey was not merely possible—it was expected. Only within the Emptiness could beings of that level truly temper their bodies and souls, push themselves to their absolute limits, and discover treasures capable of fueling further evolution.

Naturally, any traveler who roamed those chaotic expanses found all kinds of dangers. And there was nothing more dangerous than the Lords of Emptiness.

They were gargantuan beings—entities so immense and majestic that they inspired both dread and reverence across that boundless expanse between universes. Their existence was almost mythological, their power beyond comprehension. Yet, paradoxically, they were not wantonly destructive.

Their nature guided them to wander rather than conquer, to exist rather than dominate. Unless provoked, they rarely engaged in battle. However, among those who had witnessed them, one truth was universally accepted: provoking a Lord of Emptiness was no different from suicide.

And now, the Curse Eaters stood before one whose goal was nothing more than their destruction.

Anark saw the realization dawn in their eyes. He saw understanding take root, followed by the cold acknowledgment of what he had become.

"Good," he said, his voice calm yet edged with something far more dangerous. "That saves me from returning the courtesy and explñaning the nature of my existence."

A smile spread across his face, one filled with killing intent as violet energy surged outward from his body.

The world trembled.

Earth itself shuddered as the energy radiating from Anark changed. It was no longer merely Void Primordial Force—it had evolved into something far greater, something majestic and terrifying in equal measure. The very gravity of Earth, which had once bound him so tightly, now seemed insignificant. Slowly, effortlessly, Anark rose into the air.

"Time for round two."

The moment the words left his lips, the Lord of the Emptiness vanished.

Before the Curse Eaters could even react, he was already standing before them.

Anark clasped his hands together.

It was a simple motion, almost mundane in appearance, yet the force behind it was anything but. Space itself seemed to compress under that gesture, folding inward before violently exploding outward in the next instant. A massive violet shockwave erupted, sending all three Curse Eaters hurtling in different directions.

Mythical Beast Adam was the first to regain control of his body. Which was fortunate, as he was also the first target.

Anark flashed toward him without hesitation.

The massive Curse Eater did not remain passive. The blazing light surrounding his body surged as he swung his colossal claw forward. The attack was overwhelming—not merely powerful, but oppressive. It devoured light itself, dragging everything in its path toward it, making evasion nearly impossible.

Yet, just as the claw was about to reach him, Anark’s ten suns glowed as he waved his hands.

Space distorted.

The attack that should have crushed him passed harmlessly above his head.

Before Mythical Beast Adam could react, Anark collided with his chest and seized him. Muscles tensed, power surged, and despite the immense weight of the feral Aspect—greater than that of a High World itself—and the crushing gravity of Earth, Anark began to lift him.

It was not easy.

The strain was immense, but Anark did not falter. He ascended higher and higher, carrying the massive being with him until they reached the upper reaches of the sky. Then, without hesitation, he twisted his body and dove downward with even greater force.

Mythical Beast Adam attempted to escape, his body flickering as if he would dissolve into particles, but Anark’s grip was absolute. Whatever power he now wielded, it suppressed even that ability.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!"

The impact shook Earth itself. Buildings collapsed, the ground fractured, and a deafening explosion echoed in all directions. Mythical Beast Adam coughed blood as the force of the collision pushed him to the brink of collapse.

Anark stood over him, eyes cold, fist rising to deliver the finishing blow.

Then his gaze sharpened.

Without hesitation, he leapt away.

A beam of energy tore through the space where he had stood, fired by Devil Child Adam. No sooner had he avoided that attack than another presence appeared behind him.

Pyromancer Adam.

The Curse Eater knew the danger of engaging at close range, yet the power of the Lord of Emptiness left no room for caution. His entire arm transformed into living flame, flesh and blood replaced by searing fire as he struck toward the back of Anark’s skull.

But the attack never landed.

A hand bathed in violet plasma intercepted it.

In an instant, all the heat and destructive energy within the strike vanished.

Pyromancer Adam’s eyes widened in shock. It was as if his power had been erased, absorbed completely. It resembled the Flow’s redirection, yet it was something entirely different—something far more absolute.

Before he could react, that same energy reappeared—now under Anark’s control.

Anark’s arm moved.

His hand pierced forward, driving straight through Pyromancer Adam’s chest and emerging from his back, carrying fragments of his internal organs with it!

For a brief moment, the Curse Eater’s eyes remained wide with disbelief.

Then the light faded from them.

He died.

An explosion erupted the next second as Devil Child Adam and Mythical Beast Adam attacked simultaneously, their combined assault engulfing the battlefield.

But before they could even think of victory, Anark emerged from the blast.

The Lord of the Emptiness surged forward, closing the distance with terrifying speed. Devil Child Adam unleashed a barrage of explosives, but Anark moved through them effortlessly, weaving between destruction as though it were nothing.

In the span of a heartbeat, he was there.

His palm struck the Curse Eater’s forehead.

A sickening crack echoed as the back of Devil Child Adam’s skull exploded outward, his brain obliterated.

Silence followed.

Then, slowly, the light of Earth began to fade.

Anark looked down.

Mythical Beast Adam had begun devouring it.

The last Aspect stood alone now, gathering all remaining power for a final attack.

"Horizon Devour Beam!"

A colossal beam of burning light surged forward, carrying enough power to annihilate entire worlds. It was the same attack that had nearly crippled Anark before.

But this time... it was not enough.

Anark walked forward.

The beam struck him, engulfing his body, yet he continued advancing. The void around him consumed the light, suppressing its power, erasing its dominance. Step by step, he pushed through it until he stood directly before the final Aspect.

Then he raised his hand.

His index and middle fingers extended, touching lightly between the Curse Eater’s eyebrows.

"I win."

The words were quiet, almost gentle.

Yet they carried absolute finality.

Mythical Beast Adam’s body trembled. For a brief moment, his eyes flickered, as if struggling against the inevitable.

Then the light within them vanished.

His massive form collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

The battle was over.
