Shakti clenched her knuckles so tightly that the bones in her hand started to pop.

As she looked at the ’accommodations’ that had been supplied to her masters, a fierce heat rose in her stomach.

"...This... This is unacceptable. How dare they give you both such meager-"

Taira hopped into the bed first. Aveena joined him shortly after disrobing.

As bare as the day she was born, Aveena crawled under her husband like a doe seeking warmth.

"I’m a bit annoyed that we have to wait an entire day before the rest of the nobles arrive... Spending the night here makes me feel a bit on edge."

Taira nudged her on the side of her neck to get her attention.

It seemed Aveena had forgotten that things were still rather new for their Shakti. Spontaneously seeing her detect master strip down into nothing was very jarring for her.

She looked away without realizing it. "T-These accommodations aren’t worthy of you... It is insulting to your honor and dignity. I have half a mind to crush this place where it stands... "

Aveena and Taira looked toward each other for a moment before bursting into laughter.

Obviously, the boy who had spent his formative years in a cave without sleep or food and the girl who grew up in a abbey would be largely unfazed by this shallow attempt to humiliate them.

Shakti suddenly felt a bit embarrassed about being the only one to make a fuss.

At that moment, she wished her hair were long enough to cover her entire face instead of just half.

"It’s not as bad as it could be. We’ve certainly had to lay our heads in worse places." Taira said coolly.

One of Taira’s tails reached out and coiled around Shakti’s waist.

Gently, he pulled her into bed with them, laughing at just how stiff she had become.

"Please relax. Neither of us is going to do anything to you. You can be comfortable."

Shakti’s expression didn’t change when Taira placed her on the bed, but she felt a wave of disappointment when she realized they weren’t going to touch her.

Something her master could sense when they were in physical contact. Though he wisely chose to keep that bit of information to himself...

Shakti was placed against Taira’s furry stomach, where she lay with a slightly stiff posture.

’...So soft. So fluffy...’

If she weren’t worried about her image, she would have thrown herself face down into his fur and taken a deep inhale.

The next few hours that followed were some of the most embarrassing of Shakti’s life.

The three of them sat together in that cramped, dingy room and talked for a long while. Shakti knew that they told her stories about their pasts, but she couldn’t remember any details. She also knew that they asked her things about herself, but she couldn’t remember exactly what she told them.

The shock of the moment sapped away any other thoughts that could have taken root in her brain.

She was lying in bed with both of her masters. One of them was even naked.

Shakti was not fully convinced that everything she was experiencing wasn’t a part of another one of her wet dreams.

’I’m getting too old for this... I need to get ahold of myself.’ She thought.

Shakti had only just begun to doze off when Taira suddenly shifted back to his normal form.

The fact that he had appeared naked only made her want to spring a nosebleed. Somehow, she managed to restrain herself.

As if he could tell what she was thinking, he leaned forward teasingly. "Oh? This is surprising. Am I wearing off on you already?"

In the face of his teasing, Shakti’s reaction was surprising.

Her breath hitched in her throat, and she placed her hand on his midsection. Heat radiated from her body as she dared herself not to look any lower.

Inadvertently, she answered without even saying a word.

Taira left with some difficulty not long afterward. While he put the beginnings of his plan into action, Aveena and Shakti were left behind in the old room.

For a while after he left, Shakti continued to stare at the door as if she believed he was going to come right back through it.

When he didn’t, she began to feel slightly restless.

"...I believe... I may have been of some use if I had stayed at his side. Perhaps I should have pushed to go with him..."

When Shakti didn’t hear a response, she turned around. She found Aveena looking slightly bitter and quiet. Shakti immediately realized her mistake.

She crawled on top of Shakti and straddled her before leaning down to wrap her in a hug.

Aveena’s surprise was written clearly on her expression. "What is this for?"

"...An apology."

Shakti sat up slowly, pushing her hair out of her face. Her Dai-Shi was floored.

With crystalline ruby eyes and perfectly thick eyebrows, Shakti was desirable in way that made the sight of her feel like warfare.

"I... can be very clumsy sometimes. You’ll find that I often don’t know what I am doing, as I have never been with a man or a woman before.

But I hope that... you will come to experience the sincerity of my feelings. From the moment I saw you, I-"

"Are you trying to have sex with me?"

"...N-No."

"You don’t have to give me a big speech. I will not refuse you." Aveena took Shakti’s hand.

"I-I thought l... maybe I was showing too much attention to Master Taira, and I had neglected you in compariso- Oh..."

Aveena was more aroused than Shakti had known to be humanely possible. The syrupy fluid that dripped across her fingertips came with only a graze of her lower lips.

Aveena wrapped her arms around Shakti’s neck.
