Yet, not only did the attacker kick once, they managed to throw another kick in mid-air; the head-kicking attempt was blocked, but the second kick struck the bodyguard’s chest, who then stumbled sideways, twisting to maintain their balance.

"Stop!"

Seeing this, Li Yan quickly stepped forward, restraining the bodyguard who was about to launch a counterattack.

"What are you doing?" The bodyguard spoke for the first time, coldly watching Li Yan. Anyone who could stun Zheng Yucheng definitely wasn’t a friend, and the real target should be the more prominent Zheng Tian. As the bodyguard, he couldn’t afford to be lax.

"They are my friends, coming to rescue me."
