Chapter 186: The Harmonious Relationship of the Three Women

After they entered the restaurant, their presence quickly spread throughout the venue. Both the staff and diners swiftly turned their attention to the three women. It was no surprise that the men were left speechless, while the women initially gaped in shock before feeling either self-conscious or envious.

Noticing the gaze upon them, a waiter promptly approached to greet them. Meanwhile, at a table occupied solely by men, one boldly stood up and approached them, politely and elegantly striking up a conversation: "Ladies, are you looking for a seat? We have the best table here. If you don’t mind, you can join us. It would be an honor to have such lovely ladies dine with us."

Yurong looked at him coldly, slightly surprised by his straightforwardness. Given her appearance, aura, and stature within Paradise Group, male employees revered her as a goddess and kept their distance out of respect. None dared to ask her out for a meal or a date. Even someone like Ye Jiahong, or other equivalent business partners, could only timidly suggest an invite when work was smooth sailing and she seemed to be in a good mood.

Wen Qianyi, however, had a different perspective. She knew that most of the people here were tourists who mistook them for the same. Being on vacation or traveling typically means being more relaxed, with many even hoping for a romantic encounter. If the men and the women could find a match, a short-lived romantic adventure would obviously be every man’s wish. And even if rejected, as they didn’t personally know each other, it wouldn’t be embarrassing. That’s why they were so bold.

"Oh, is that so? But I’m not sure if the others agree," Wen Qianyi smilingly declined.

But to the man’s ears, her tone seemed more like playing hard-to-get than a gentle refusal. Especially seeing Wen Qianyi’s smile, he felt almost bewitched, convinced there was potential and interpreted ’others’ as speaking about his friends. He quickly nodded repeatedly, fervently replying, "Of course, everyone agrees! It would be our honor to dine with the three of you!"

His excitement was palpable, he almost cheered aloud. After speaking, he glanced at his table mates. They all smiled in acknowledgment. To them, encountering such top-tier beauties was indeed a rare chance. Seeing one was worthwhile, let alone two or three? Simply having the opportunity to dine together was delightful, not to mention if they could find a match and engage in a romantic adventure!

There was, however, one person who disagreed. Standing behind the man was Li Yan, who patted his shoulder and coldly remarked, "Brother, aren’t you being too presumptuous here? Did I agree? Did they agree? You won’t be honored, only disappointed!"

The man, stunned, turned to look at him. Who was this? Standing behind me, of course, I couldn’t see you, how can you call it presumptuous?

Just as he mistook Li Yan for someone like him trying to steal the limelight with the beauties, ready to retort sarcastically, Li Yan, unceremoniously, moved swiftly, grabbed him by the neck, nearly lifted the whole man up, then shifted him aside a few feet to clear the way for the three women.

If Qiao Huanxuan were present, she would recall the cab driver incident from that night, thinking Li Yan had a penchant for this move. But Li Yan wasn’t concerned about possible repercussions. Those cab drivers were different, familiar with their turf and numerous partners, whereas these men were merely tourists.

"President, Directors, please this way!"

People naturally fear toughness and prey on weakness. If Li Yan were a frail, short man, the fellow would rage even if alone. But with Li Yan’s decent physique, who had just lifted him by the neck with one hand, was proof of his strength. Coupled with the thought of bodyguards, possibly more than one, the man swallowed his pride, hurriedly returning as his companions stood.

"Wow, you started eating already without us? Where’s your manners, huh?" Wen Qianyi jokingly chided, then invited Yurong and Hai Fu to sit.

With just four people, seating was comfortably spacious, preventing proximity to anyone specifically.
