He already knew what to do to meet Lady Red and had done it several times in the previous timelines, so he was familiar with the whole thing. The only difference this time was that he sent Rusty to make contact with Amelia and didn’t go himself.

While Rusty went ahead to engineer a meeting for him, he decided to do something interesting in the meantime. He got this idea when he sensed through the mark that Slav was now moving towards the Eastern Domain.

Skarg and Slav had managed to escape from the attack on the city that took place yesterday. Despite the destruction of more than half of the city, Slav had been able to help them survive thanks to the Fortune Seeker Metac. Then the father and son duo went to find the inheritance of a divine being.

As usual, the two of them went down into the earth somewhere in the Central Domain. Then, a few hours later, Slav left the tunnels in the ground and began traveling towards the world barrier of the Eastern Domain.

The fact that Slav was now going towards the Eastern Domain usually signified that the old Slav was gone and had been replaced by a more powerful Slav. So Loki decided to see just how powerful Slav was.

The idea that he had made him grin and say to himself, ’Wouldn’t it be great if he dies like this? If he dies, will his Supreme Metac also disappear with him, or would it be left behind for the taking?’

’I know I might not be able to take the Supreme Metac now. But I should be able to take his Cave Heaven, right? If I can’t assimilate it, I should be able to eat it.’

When he remembers the size and power of Slav’s Cave Heaven, he doesn’t dare to show up in front of Slav. And when he remembers what happened the last time he had a confrontation with Slav, the fact that the Rewind Metac has become independent of Fenrir makes it a must that he doesn’t dare have another confrontation with Slav in his current state.

Since Slav will now be able to target the Rewind Metac without facing Fenrir’s resistance, Slav has become one of the most terrifying enemies for him. Just the fact that Slav is the only person he knows who knows so much about the Rewind Metac is enough reason to take Slav seriously.

Then there is the fact that Slav is in possession of a stupidly powerful Supreme Metac. So there are many reasons for him to avoid Slav.

Unfortunately or fortunately for him, the Siphon Ability can now absorb the lifespan of the targets that have been marked. And this ability can be activated regardless of the distance between him and his target.

With this kind of ability, he now has an opportunity to take Slav down without meeting Slav. So even though he knew that it was a bad idea to poke the hornet’s nest that is a reincarnated Dao Lord, he couldn’t pass up this chance of an easy clean.

In fact, instead of being afraid of what might happen because of messing with Slav, he was full of anticipation because of the possibility of actually succeeding in killing Slav. This feeling of anticipation of his only increased every moment after he activated the Siphon Ability.

As soon as he activated the Siphon Ability, he began to receive lifespan from the target. The lifespan didn’t come all at once. He received a trickle of the lifespan at a rate that would lead to 6 years of lifespan over the period of a second.

But before a full second could go by, the supply of lifespan was cut off. Not only did the Siphon Ability stop working, but he also stopped sensing Slav completely.

This turn of events made him think to himself in confusion, saying, ’He can’t be dead, right? I don’t think he is that fragile that he can’t even spare up to six years of lifespan.’

He was wondering what had happened when he sensed that his mark on Slav had disappeared. His confusion about the whole thing immediately cleared up when he sensed that a slot for a tracking mark had opened up, and he could now make someone else with the mark that he used on Slav.

When he sensed this development, his eyes widened in surprise, and he thought to himself, flabbergasted, ’He actually removed the mark. I can’t believe that he removed the mark.’

’I didn’t even know that the mark could be removed. Did he manage to do this because he is special, or was he able to remove the mark because the mark is easy to remove?’

After thinking about this problem for a few seconds, he shook his head in awe and thought, ’I knew that Slav the Golden wasn’t easy to deal with, but this is just another level of difficulty that I didn’t know about.’

’If he can remove my tracking Mark, what other ability of Fenrir can he invalidate? You know what, I don’t want to know.’

He is curious about how Slav managed to remove the tracking mark and would like to know what else Slav is capable of. But after thinking about the risk involved, he decided that his curiosity might kill him.

In fact, now that he knows that Slav could remove the mark but hadn’t done so in the past, he has become aware of the possibility that Slav was lulling him to a false sense of security and might have been planning to trap him if he had used the mark to find Slav.

With this somber thought on his mind, he decided to stop messing with reincarnated Dao Lords and focus only on mortals. And just to be sure that Slav wouldn’t be able to trace the mark back to its source and find him, he decided to venture into the third dimension to look for the small world that Lady Red planned to use to create her Divine Position.
