His voice was loud as he said, "The suppression effect among law fragments of different kinds is a law of the world. It is simply impossible for a divine being to make the law fragments of two pathways work together. Not unless they are Dao Lords. So this Sword Storm must be making stuff up to incriminate whoever killed him and attract a lot of attention to them for revenge."

This drew another round of laughter among the divine beings. Everyone thought that his attempt at creating enmity for the killer was flimsy and exaggerated.

But some people did ask why he didn’t expose who his killer was directly. Some people claimed that it was likely that the killer hid their identity or employed a mind hunter to mess with Sword Storm’s mind.

Meanwhile, the person who killed Sword Storm was watching all of these happen while laughing along. The murderer was someone no one could have guessed.

Outwardly, Loki was all smiles and laughter. But inwardly, he was gritting his teeth as he cursed Sword Storm.

He said to himself, ’Fuck that Sword Storm. He truly deserved to die.’

Anyway, he didn’t voice his true thoughts about Sword Storm or reveal anything he knew about Sword Storm’s death. No one suspected him either, since he was just a new divine being without any notable history.

Loki continued to listen while being thankful that no one of note believed Sword Storm. He was also glad that the fight had taken place in the second heaven because even the people who cared about Sword Storm’s death couldn’t use the divine constellation to determine who the killer was.

So he didn’t have much to worry about regarding his identity being exposed. Since he didn’t have much to worry about, he spent most of his time collecting information about everyone with the Power Identification Ability.

For now, he could only check their stats and the Divine Metacs that they had. He couldn’t check their Cave Heaven or law fragments because they were in the second heaven.

He looked innocent, but no one knew that he was eyeing them as prey. The bidding war continued under a mostly peaceful atmosphere.

The bid for the three continents took 23 minutes to complete. So 35 minutes of fighting took place before Loki arrived, one hour of fighting happened after he appeared, and now 23 minutes have been spent bidding for the three continents.

This made a total of 118 minutes, or one hour and 58 minutes of struggle for the loot that should have belonged to only Loki. At the end, the Four Directions Sect was the greatest beneficiary of his fight with Sword Storm.

Of the five pathways, a cultivator of the Money Pathway, Forging Pathway, and Enslavement Pathway won the three continents. This was because these three pathways had strong alliances capable of supporting a single person.

Everyone else got some lifespan for their troubles. Then everyone began to disperse.

Some of the divine beings were sent to the second heaven to continue harvesting spirit creatures and spirit stones. But the cultivators of the three alliances who won the three continents stayed behind to help the three winners take care of the continents.

In order to absorb the three continents, they had to drag them down from the second heaven first. So everyone got to work pulling the three continents down to the edge of the second heaven.

The edge of the second heaven was a world barrier. It led directly to the second dimension below them.

All of them dragged the three continents through the world barriers. Loki went along with them because passing through the world barrier wouldn’t cost him any lifespan.

But while he was passing through the world barrier, he wondered how much lifespan they were losing. So he used the Power Identification Ability to keep track of how much lifespan they had.

He saw that most of them lost at least 216 years of their lifespan during the process. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Some rank 6 cultivators lost up to 294 years of lifespan. As for the rank 7 cultivators, they lost at least 343 years of lifespan.

This made him shake his head and say inwardly, ’These people are paying such a high price for these three continents. Are they just rich, or are these continents worth more than I can tell?’

`I should find out what the answer is soon. Once we enter the second dimension and can summon our Cave Heavens, they should be able to absorb the three continents, and I’ll get to see if the price they’ve paid is worth it.’

It wasn’t until they reached the second dimension and kept carrying the three continents away that Loki remembered that everyone else wasn’t like him.

So he slapped his forehead mentally and said to himself, ’I forgot that they can’t absorb any Cave Heaven they want. Everyone is handicapped, unlike me.’

’But now I’m curious. Because if they won’t assimilate the continents, what do they plan to do with them?’

While he was thinking to himself, he noticed something that was out of place. He saw that there were many divine beings that were not part of the alliance of winners waiting around for them in the second dimension.

This made Loki’s face become solemn as he said to himself, ’What is this? Is there going to be a second round now? If there is going to be a second round, I will not partake in it.’

’Fighting in the second heaven is tame, so it is acceptable. But fighting with Cave Heavens and Law fragments will make the cost of healing injuries skyrocket. I don’t like these people of the Thorn House of Commerce that much.’

He had already made up his mind to escape as soon as another round of fighting began. In the meantime, he activated the Power Identification Ability to see how powerful everyone truly was.

After the Power Identification Ability was activated, he saw that most of the rank 6 divine beings possessed just one Divine Metac. Only a few rank 6 cultivators possessed two Divine Metacs.
