He racked his brain as he said to himself, ’With that kind of power, the void ship should be able to cover 3,600 light-years in a single day or 24 hours. We spent 20 hours traveling, so the distance between that small battle world and Oceania must be 3,000 light-years.’

Then he glanced at the rank 8 money cultivator and said to himself, ’In comparison, Money Body’s Cave Heaven can produce a power of 227,440 units. With that kind of power, he can cover the same distance of 3,000 light-years in 19 minutes.’

His eye twitched when he made this calculation. What was most absurd was that this was Money Body’s speed without using any Divine Metac.

If Money Body were to use his Divine Metacs, he might be able to cover the distance of 3,000 light-years in a few seconds. This was why his eye had to twitch.

Eventually, he sighed in relief and thought to himself, ’Fortunately, he is on our side. This is a good thing.’

’Then again, I have to wonder what kind of enemy we are about to go up against if we need a heavy hitter like this on our side. It makes me wonder whether it is a good thing to need someone as powerful as him on our side.’

While he was wondering about the danger of the upcoming mission, Nether Flame seemed to sense that he was worried. So he sent a message to Loki through the divine constellation.

He said, "I hope you’re not about to wet yourself in fright."

Loki scoffed as he said in reply, "First of all, I am not a child. Secondly, I have a divine body and can’t produce any bodily secretions."

His reply made Nether Body laugh. So Loki decided to ignore him.

But Nether Flame sent another message saying, "There is no need to worry too much. Money Body is much stronger than other rank 8 cultivators. He is the leader of an alliance after all."

"In fact, I am wondering why someone of his caliber is going on a mission like this. Anyway, we are mostly in good hands. You shouldn’t worry about the danger of the mission. What you should worry about is how to do your fair share and hope that Money Body won’t kill you."

Loki nodded in understanding, but he didn’t say anything. Unfortunately, he couldn’t quite get his peace yet. Someone else had something to say to him.

Ant Hill sent a message to him that said, "Stop wondering whether Money Body will kill you or not. He won’t make a move on you until you’ve reached the limit of the size of your Cave Heaven."

"I heard that he mostly makes a move to coerce people to surrender their Cave Heaven when you’ve reached the limit of your growth for your rank. That way, he will get the most out of your after assimilating your Cave Heaven."

"So stop wondering about him. What you should be concerned with his how to make sure that you won’t die in this mission. An outpost mission really isn’t the place for fresh blood like you to play around."

After hearing her message, he glanced at her. She glanced back at him with her large compound eyes. Then she looked away as if nothing had happened.

Loki said nothing in reply, but he did wonder who was right about the true source of danger for him. But he didn’t dwell on this for long either because the mission was about to start. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

The void ship had stopped some distance from Oceania. The four of them would have to continue the journey on their own, so they left the void ship.

They didn’t exit the void ship alone, though. They left with a large capsule containing some homunculi.

Each of them left with one capsule. The capsules were as large as buses in his past life, and they contained 40 homunculi each. But despite the weight, all four of them were able to carry the buses easily.

The four of them carried their payloads up to the very edge of Oceania. They stopped outside the crystal shell of the world to deliberate on what to do.

They were supposed to deliberate on what to do, but it was really Money Body telling them what to do.

He said, "This step is the most important step. Is there anyone here capable of opening the way for us without making any noise?"

Nether Flame and Loki kept quiet. But Ant Hill replied, saying, "I have an ant here that I have cultivated for this very purpose. It is a stealthy ant that can hide itself very well."

As she spoke, she produced a small bug from the palm of her hand. This ant looked to be made from a white crystal and was translucent.

In order to demonstrate its capabilities, she said to the ant, "Hide for me."

The crystal ant obeyed her order and turned transparent.

Loki could still tell that there was an ant in the palm of her hand by using his Insight Stat to focus on her hand. So he was sure that the others could also see the crystal ant. This made him less impressed with the crystal ant.

But as he was watching, the ant changed color and took on the appearance of her hand. This way, he couldn’t tell if there was an ant on her hand at all.

His eyes lit up, and he said, "So it can turn transparent and camouflage itself at the same time. That’s not bad."

This was not an ordinary camouflage, as even his Insight Stat was fooled. So he was impressed with the capabilities of the crystal ant.

The crystal ant also reminded him of a certain invisible snake that had snuck past his defensive and alert arrays to attack him within his house. He knew how such a creature could catch the enemy off guard, so he was in full support of the crystal ant.
