THE GOD EATER
Chapter 604: Two On One.
Unfortunately for both of them, the cobra dragon resisted too much and allowed Loki to get into its body. So when the frilled dragon cut off the cobra dragon’s head, it didn’t help to free it from Loki.
Now the cobra dragon had two choices to make. It could either give up on its head, which will do nothing to save it from Loki, or give up on the rest of its body.
If it gives up on its entire body, it would surely be free from Loki. But the loss of the whole body would exacerbate its injuries and make it worse.
The cobra dragon didn’t know what to do, but the frilled dragon had already made a decision. The water blades had now turned on the cobra dragon’s body and were trying to chop it in half.
This angered the cobra dragon, because it felt that the frilled dragon was harming it far more than Loki was. This wasn’t true, of course.
The cobra dragon could at most damage it for 60 years of its lifespan for every attack. But Loki was wielding 7 rank 6 Divine Metacs with a law fragment amplification of 800%. So each blow from Loki was consuming 373 years of its lifespan.
However, even though the frilled dragon wasn’t doing as much damage as Loki was doing and even though it was trying to help, it didn’t change the fact that losing half of its body was going to cost it a lot.
It also didn’t change the fact that this fight felt more like two against one, with Loki and the frilled dragon on one side fighting the lone cobra dragon on the other side.
This made the cobra dragon shout, saying, "Stop this. Stop it. You’re not helping."
But the frilled dragon didn’t listen. It said, "You’ll thank me later."
Eventually, the cobra dragon was split in half. This successfully saved it from Loki at the cost of a lot of lifespan.
The two dragons had learned their lesson, so they kept their distance from Loki. But this wasn’t going to work because Loki was too fast for them.
The power of the two dragons was mostly identical. The main difference was that the cobra dragon had a strong body and used its body to fight.
The frilled dragon, on the other hand, had a stronger mind. This was how it was able to empower and control water to attack.
Despite these differences, the power output of both of them was at a magnificent 3,036,960 units of divine power. In comparison, Loki’s power was 3,532,032 units of divine power that he produced on his own, plus the 3,036,960 units of divine power that he stole from the frilled dragon.
So his total power output is 6,568,992 units of divine power. This kind of power is why he felt confident about signing up for the outpost mission. It is also why he thought that it was yet uncertain who would win between him and Nether Flame when Ant Hill had called him the weakest among them.
Right now, this power of 6,568,992 units of divine power is why the two dragons can’t gain any advantage over him, even when they banded together to deal with him. The difference in quality between them is just too much for an advantage in quantity to make up for.
He grabbed the tail of the cobra dragon, which had a stronger body, and pulled it along as it rushed towards the frilled dragon. The frilled dragon turned to dodge, but he caught up to it and entered its torso.
As he entered the frilled dragon’s torso, he made sure to pull the tail of the cobra dragon with him. The body of the cobra dragon was strong, so it didn’t break. On the other hand, the body of the frilled dragon was weaker, so it expanded easily and allowed Loki to impale it with the tail of its partner.
Loki pulled the cobra dragon along until he had stuffed it a good way through the frilled dragon. After conjoining the two dragons, he began beating them.
He beat the two of them, not just one of them. This was to force the will of Oceania to continue supplying the two of them with a lifespan.
His figure flashed from right to left through the water as he struck the two of them. His blows always came away with a layer of their skin and always caused great pain, so their roars of pain resounded again and again together with the shockwaves created by his punches.
At this point, the two of them have realized that they can’t beat Loki. So they want to escape. But Loki is hell-bent on keeping her with him.
Anytime they tried to scatter in different directions, he would pull them back together and beat them. As he beat them, he sneered and said, "I can’t leave here, so no joke can leave."
He laughed a deranged laughter as he said, "You may think you’ve trapped me here. But it is you who are trapped here with me."
The cobra dragon shouted at him, "No one is trapping you here. You can go."
But Loki snickered and said, "You’re only proving my point that you’re the ones trapped here with me. I can leave when I want to leave. But you guys are stuck with me until I say so."
What the cobra dragon said to him was the truth, though. He can truly leave if he wants to. Not only is his power too great for him to be trapped by the walls, but there are actually no more walls restricting his movement.
He sensed a while ago that the will of Oceania had removed the wall blocking his way. But he had refused to leave because the wall could reappear at any moment.
If he leaves now, the wall can reappear to trap him. By that time, these two dragons would have escaped.
