Fortunately, he was able to reach the world barrier before the two pursuers and their weapons could reach him. He entered the world barrier and disappeared from their sight.

His two pursuers didn’t hesitate to follow him into the world barrier. They were close to catching up to him, so they were unwilling to let him use the world barrier to throw them off.

The three of them sank into the world barrier and became subject to the siphoning force of the world barrier. For Loki, this siphoning force wasn’t a problem for him to deal with.

Even when he wasn’t a divine being of the Blessed Heaven World, he had been able to pass through the world barrier unimpeded. So now that he was a bona fide divine being of this world, he would have less of a problem with it.

But the other two weren’t so lucky. They were of a higher cultivation than Loki’s, so the siphoning force they had to deal with was greater than what Loki had to deal with.

Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer had a rank 7 cultivation and two rank 7 Divine Positions, so he had to consume 7 × (7 + 7), which is 98 years of his lifespan for every second in the world barrier.

As for Monarch Heavy Anvil, he also had a rank 7 cultivation. But he only had one rank 7 Divine Position. This meant that he had to spend 49 years of his lifespan for every second that he stayed in the world barrier. This is half of what Craftsman’s Hammer had to spend, but this didn’t necessarily mean that he was weaker than Craftsman’s Hammer.

Fortunately, this was a temporary situation. With their power and speed, they should be able to get out of the world barrier in ten seconds or less if they move at their top speed.

However, they encountered a slight problem in this estimate in that Loki refused to leave the world barrier. This was a difficult problem to solve because they couldn’t catch Loki no matter how fast they moved.

They should have been able to catch Loki because they were clearly faster than him earlier. If they could catch Loki, they would be able to kill him or bring him out of the world barrier.

But their speed had slowed down in the world barrier, and even their Metacs couldn’t manifest outside of their Cave Heavens because of the siphoning power of the world barrier. So even if they are faster than him, they won’t be able to catch him now.

Of course, Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer didn’t think that Loki’s tactic to deter them was going to work. He even scoffed and said, "Don’t think that you can make us give up. At this point, we have to kill you if it is the last thing we do. We can’t let a rank 6 cultivator escape from the three of us, so you will surely die here."

He expected Loki to die soon because, according to his estimate, Loki should be running out of lifespan soon. So even if Loki is losing less lifespan than him, Loki shouldn’t be able to last more than thirty seconds in the world barrier.

He estimated that Loki was losing 36 years of lifespan per second. So after 30 seconds, Loki should have consumed 1,080 years of lifespan. For a rank 6 cultivator who couldn’t bear to spend an extra 100 years for the life-leech, this is already a generous estimate.

So he was surprised when 30 seconds went by, and Loki was still frolicking around in the world barrier. His surprise turned to shock after 60 seconds had passed.

As time went by, the look of mockery on his face changed to one of solemnity. Then the solemnity changed to surprise. After that, the surprise changed to shock. But even that shock changed to confusion.

He couldn’t understand what was going on, no matter how he thought about it. Loki’s actions just didn’t make sense.

He was trying to figure out what was going on when he realized that he had spent 3,416 years running around in the world barrier. This made his look of confusion change to one of fear.

He thought to himself in fear, ’This can’t go on any longer. There is something wrong going on, and I don’t want to be a part of it.’ 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

He decided to leave the world barrier before something unfortunate happened to him. But just as he turned around, Loki rushed at him.

Not only did Loki approach him at his top speed, but Loki also summoned his hammer and threw it at him. Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer’s mind nearly exploded in confusion when he saw all of these happen.

He shouted at Loki, saying, "What are you doing? Do you want to fight here in the world barrier? Why would you do that instead of taking this chance to escape?"

Then he saw the white hammer, so his voice rose by an octave as he said, "How can you manifest your Divine Metac in the world barrier?"

The sight of the white hammer was impactful to him since he hadn’t been able to summon his hammer, and Monarch Heavy Anvil had also lost the manifestation of his anvil because of the adverse conditions in the world barrier.

The siphoning force and the suppression of Metacs from the world barrier have made it so that he is losing lifespan every second, and weakened him to the extent that he couldn’t use any Divine Metac within the world barrier.

What happened to him and Monarch Heavy Anvil is completely normal. It is what was going on with Loki that was immensely wrong.

Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer couldn’t understand how Loki was doing it, so he asked. To be honest, he didn’t expect an answer to his question. He just asked because it was such an insane reality.

Just as he expected, instead of answering the question, Loki sneered and said, "When I kill you, you will know how my hammer works."
