Meanwhile, the Divine Position had fused with the rank 7 Golden Lion Strength Metac in the core of Loki’s Cave Heaven. Unfortunately, it didn’t raise his strength.

This frustrated him, but he refused to give up. So he gritted his teeth and said, "Maybe if I devour it, I will be able to advance to rank 7."

Because of these reasons, he had Loki devour the new Divine Position. A black force field erupted out of Fenrir. It covered the Divine Position of the Golden Lion Strength and everything else in the core of his Cave Heaven. Then the black forcefield came out of the core of his Cave Heaven to cover everything in his Cave Heaven.

While the devouring ability was devouring the Divine Position of the Golden Lion Strength Metac, he let the black force field devour the Divine Position of the Gold Body Divine Metac, too. After all, there was no harm in doing so.

While he was devouring every Divine Position in his Life Fire, he also destroyed his Cave Heaven and devoured part of it. It was the living things in his Cave Heaven that were devoured first, which caused his lifespan to soar beyond 2,000,000 years very quickly.

He didn’t spend much time devouring the Cave Heaven, though. The main reason he destroyed his Cave Heaven was to set Fenrir free from the Cave Heaven. In fact, he devoured less than 1% of his Cave Heaven. As for the living creatures in his Cave Heaven, he managed to eat a little more than 10% of them.

He didn’t wait to devour more, even though there was so much left to devour. After he destroyed his Cave Heaven and after he was done devouring the two Divine Positions, he quickly activated the Rewind Metac and let it take Fenrir into the River of Time. From there, he swam upstream into the past with the new Divine Metac in Fenrir’s stomach.

He swam through the River of Time for what felt like an eternity. During the process, all the events that he had experienced flashed around him in the reverse direction.

If he were in control, he could have chosen one of these events as his stopping point. Because the speed of flashing was fast, the point he picked to stop wouldn’t be accurate, and he wouldn’t be able to stop exactly where he wanted. But at least, where he actually stopped and where he wanted to stop would be close.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t do that now because Fenrir had a large Divine Metac within it that needed digesting. So he could only wait until they reached the end of the road to stop.

Along the way, he thought about the things he experienced during the process of calling down the Divine Position. Of everyone he saw during that moment, Monarch Dragon Strength stood out to him the most.

The memory of that rank 8 cultivator made him shake his hand and say, "That guy is a loudmouth troublemaker. The worst part about him is that he is smart and sensitive."
