The Golem Mage
Chapter 1134: Recap Of Days After 2.
However, he wasn’t prepared for it, because this was his own reality, and it was very different from the game, each of those builder’s hut had come with about twenty workers, and just like in those games where players complain that the price of builders keeps rising the more you buy, the same thing happened to Alec.
The first builder’s hut had only cost him about five hundred thousand SP(system point), while the second had cost him one million SP, however the third cost a whopping two million SP, and that is when he had enough and decided it was time he stopped.
Even so, he now had about sixty construction workers with advanced building knowledge working under him, and the first thing he did was assign two groups to help his people rebuild their homes.
Alec had already asked the first few families affected by the destruction to move into his castle, because after the Synchronizing upgrade of his castle palace, there was far more room inside, and though he hadn’t even asked for it, Iroh had practically turned himself into Alec’s personal butler, and had already started arranging for different girls to come clean the castle every single day.
So when Alec began his plan of transforming his city from something that looked like a village settlement into a proper city, he had to ask Iroh for help in moving the people around, though the old man didn’t like that the king wanted the people living in his home however he had still done it as he realised that his lord was too benevolent to care.
While two teams of builders worked on tearing down and rebuilding new houses in what Alec wanted to call the B Region, he also started organizing the structure of the city itself.
He planned to divide it into layers.
At the center would be the Core Area, where he himself would live and sometimes when his group came around, it was built in more of a clan setting, then there would be the A Region, where those connected to his system, like the summons would stay, not too far from him.
After that would come the B Region, which he intended to be the residential district for the original citizens of the city, as for the other regions beyond that, or what kind of future development they would have, he had not thought that far ahead yet.
Still, while the builders in his own territory were busy reconstructing the residential zone, Alec had already sent the last group of builders over to Arthur’s kingdom.
He planned to focus on building his own kingdom first, however he didn’t feel like he couldn’t divide a little labour out, that is why he had started with Arthur first.
Still, there was something Alec had begun to notice, his faith points kept rising day after day, and at the moment, he still had no idea what they actually meant or how they were supposed to be used.
He had gone through the regional lord chats, but only a few regional lords in the wilderness region, however they were even talkative, he had also entered the kingdom lord chats, which included all the lords under the banner of the king who had granted them land.
However, all the lords there seemed to talk about was waiting to see the leaderboard to know what their rewards were, and he honestly didn’t understand what that meant.
And when he asked the ones he felt were more influential, they all seemed to think a lord from the Wilderness region wouldn’t live long enough for it to matter, so there was no point explaining it to him, that was, until the last day of his first week came and he finally understood exactly what they meant.
[ Tier 6 Lord Leaderboard ]
1. Alec Gordons | City Level: 2 | Region: Wilderness
2. Bruce Banner | City Level: 2 | Region: Flame Heart Lands
3. Alisa Banner | City Level: 1 | Region: Flame Heart Lands
It was a list that displayed the top hundred lords of each tier level, and for the first time in history, a completely unknown name had climbed onto the Tier 6 Lord Leaderboard straight to the first position.
Not only that, he already possessed a Level 2 city, to many, it came as a shock, and a lot of people wanted to meet him and truly understand how he had managed to accomplish that as a new lord, especially one living in the Wilderness region. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
It simply made no sense to them as discussion about Alec blasted out in the main chat, meanwhile, in Alec’s castle, a massive crown was seen descending from the skies toward his territory, floating high above the castle with the number 6 engraved on it.
[ Tier 6 Leader Rewards ]
> All harvests from your land shall yield a 60% increase.
> All lifeforms cultivating in areas under your jurisdiction now receive a certain level of boost, while those cultivating at cultivation sites within your territory gain a 60% boost.
> 100 Faith Points
Alec stepped out of his castle to look at the crown, and he immediately noticed a faint golden light spreading not only across his own city, but also toward the other cities under his control.
At that moment, he could hear the people in his city celebrating once again. Unlike Alec, who was only just learning about the leaderboard through his City Heart, the citizens clearly already understood what it meant, and they were overjoyed.
To them, the fact that they had such a capable lord only gave them an even greater sense of security, and it wasn’t just the people of the main city who felt that way, all eight cities felt truly fortunate to have ended up under the rule of such lords.
The farmers, who had long struggled to grow anything on their fields, finally began seeing real progress after the crown’s blessing appeared.
They had been living in such dry and desolate lands that whatever they planted barely yielded enough, and even so, they had kept farming so their families could at least have something to eat and not starve.
But now things were different, their harvests were finally producing.
Alec had also given Iroh some seeds he had purchased through the store connected to the City Heart, allowing the citizens to have a wider variety of food options.
Iroh then made sure to send some men through the Space Axis to deliver those seeds to Brandon’s territory, while others were sent on foot toward the neighboring cities to distribute them there as well.
Since there were still no teleportation axes connected to those cities yet, they had no choice but to travel by foot.
However while the outer stone walls had already blocked easy access into the wilderness cities from outside, inside the great barricade there were still small jungle-like stretches connecting the cities—places that still housed demonic beasts.
Though Alec had intended to clear them out later, when it was finally time for his builders to start constructing proper roads, Iroh had advised him that if he truly wanted the cities to bond well, then the roads had to be cleared first.
So Alec handed that task to Legion, since his units were the most mobile, that was how the forces split up and took care of the road routes, and fortunately for Alec and his group, ever since the people of the eight cities learned that they were now all joined under one banner, they all acted like families with no quarrels with those delivering seeds or anything.
However, that still wasn’t the end of Alec’s construction journey, he had mostly kept himself locked in his room, purchasing all sorts of things to beautify his territory and most importantly he had gotten army barracks across all of his territories.
After buying them, the first thing he did was send a message to each member of his group, informing them that he had transferred a special currency they could use to summon soldiers unique to their respective cities.
At this point, Alec had already stabilized the agricultural issue across the lands, making food far more available than before, and due to the aura of the leaderboard crown, even the lands that were once considered terrible for farming seemed to be slowly healing at a noticeable pace.
That alone made Alec believe that even if, after the week of his rewards was over, and he wasn’t fortunately enough to still be ranked number one, his lands should still be able to continue growing the seeds he had already distributed.
