Ling Feng left the hotel first, teleported back to Lingyun Island, and then went to find Gu Li.

Upon meeting, Gu Li immediately said, "Boss, last night we mostly didn’t touch those statues, focused entirely on the surveillance videos!"

"And what did you find?" Ling Feng asked.

"Well, there is indeed something!"

Gu Li smiled and quickly accessed a folder on the computer, opened it, and said, "Boss, take a look. Here are the nine videos we extracted, all pointing towards the Land Temple!"

Ling Feng opened one, the video footage was unclear, recorded a little past eleven at night.

The video showed an ordinary street, not far from the main road, there was a standalone square building with a massive incense burner at the entrance.

Judging by the scale of this Land Temple, it’s evident that it holds significance locally. Certainly, the villagers spent money on its design, providing a place for offering incense and worship.

The extracted video had minimal excess footage. After just a few dozen seconds, Ling Feng saw a silhouette flash across the screen!

The speed of that silhouette was swift, appeared next to the Land Temple for a moment, darted off, and vanished within a second!

Gu Li commented, then opened the second video: "But this one is different, boss, watch!"

This video also included a small temple, and after just a few seconds of playback, Ling Feng saw a flash of white light in the sky, lasting only about a second before the surroundings returned to calm.

Ling Feng turned to look at Gu Li: "Is that all there is?"

"Indeed. Our people went to investigate, talked to a few villagers, and finally confirmed that the statue appeared then. After reviewing the entire night’s surveillance, this was the only scene we found!"

For the time that followed, he sat in Gu Li’s office watching the recordings.

While viewing, new video material occasionally popped up on the computer, thus the task ended up taking a while.

A significant portion of these videos depicted statues being placed via that white light method, but some were delivered by people in black clothes.

Ling Feng watched for a bit, then turned to Gu Li: "Later, summarize and pinpoint the locations where the white light appeared!"

"That’s easy!"

Gu Li nodded.

While they were researching the footage, Ling Feng’s phone suddenly rang.

It wasn’t his usual number, but another one he’d set up to impersonate Li Qiang.

Seeing it was Chen Han calling, Ling Feng smiled, answered and asked, "Chen, are you looking for me?"

"Still calling me brother? If Hu Jian hadn’t informed me, I wouldn’t have known you’re Mr. Ling!"

Chen Han chuckled wryly, then added, "I should be calling you brother!"

"Haha, it’s all the same, doesn’t matter!"

Ling Feng chuckled and asked, "What’s up?"

"I heard you’re busy with the preacher stuff lately, right?" Chen Han asked.

"Yes, Chen, do you have any information to share?" Ling Feng inquired.

"Indeed, can we meet to discuss? I feel this might be significant for you!" Chen Han said.

Ling Feng nodded and replied, "Alright, I’ll head over right away. Where are you now?"

"I’m at our rented apartment, off work today!" Chen Han replied.

"Great, I’ll be there in a few minutes!"

Ling Feng said, hung up, and glanced at Gu Li: "Let’s go. Meet him, this young man is interesting!"

"Sure!"

Gu Li immediately understood Ling Feng’s intention to mentor Chen Han, so he nodded and stood up.

The two teleported away and soon arrived at the apartment.

Upon going upstairs and meeting Chen Han, he saw Ling Feng brought along someone, and warmly said, "Come in, have a seat!"

"No need for formalities, Chen, this is like home to me too!"

Ling Feng chuckled and asked, "By the way, why didn’t you go to work today?"

"I took leave, waiting specifically for you!"

Chen Han said, then his expression turned serious: "Honestly, sharing this with you feels wrong, it’s a betrayal of my faith, but I have no choice, they’ve gone too far, so I’m willing to leave the Shenxing Cult to just expose this matter!"

"Oh? What happened?"
