Now seeing Mei Ruyan, she remembered some past events, and her heart tightened up again.

This made Mei Ruyan pause, should she agree or not? It seemed there was nothing much to talk about between them.

Upon hearing this, Mei Ruyan’s eyes flashed, and then she nodded, the excitement evident in her expression.

"Miaoxiu, take these guests to their rooms, make sure to entertain them well." Bai Ping said, and then affectionately grabbed Mei Ruyan’s hand, smiling: "Let’s find a quiet place to chat slowly."

Such an intimate gesture, Mei Ruyan did not resist but turned to Xu Miaoxiu and said, "No matter the outcome, I don’t want your Xu family to trouble Lin Tian."

Miaoxiu nodded, "Rest assured, I wouldn’t do such a bridge-burning thing."

"I’m referring to the other people in your Xu family." Mei Ruyan emphasized. She had no good feelings toward this Xu Family.

Before Miaoxiu could speak, Bai Ping spoke first, "Don’t worry, whether your father recovers or not, no one will trouble Lin Tian, I guarantee it!"

Lin Tian pulled over a chair, letting her sit, then smiled apologetically, "Crying all night, your eyes must be sore and tired. Let me massage them for you, then it’ll be fine. Be good."

Mei Ruyan initially wanted to get up from the chair, but upon hearing the words ’be good’ and feeling Lin Tian’s warm hand on her forehead, she stayed put. After all, it was a free massage, why not enjoy it?
