The Invincible Strongest Student
Chapter 1037: Unblocking the Chong Vessel
The Qi Blood Talisman on Mei Ruyan’s body has now been completely wiped off, leaving only some very faint traces.
No one knows what these Qi Blood Talismans are made of, but they emit a strong herbal scent, such that even Lin Tian cannot distinguish what they are.
Lin Tian first held Mei Ruyan’s right hand and took a look; the scar on her palm still glowed with a golden light, showing no sign of healing.
The vital blood that was previously extracted by Xu Nanhai has been found and is stored in a glass jar.
This cannot simply be fed through Mei Ruyan’s mouth, as doing so would enter the digestive tract, rendering it useless.
Since the vital blood was extracted by Xu Nanhai, it certainly involved a complex process, but Lin Tian had no idea how to return it.
Reluctantly, he had to use the method of Xu Shaohui and Xv Baiping from five years ago, finding a transfusion tube to insert the needle into a vein on Mei Ruyan’s hand and transfusing the vital blood.
The transfusion should follow the principle of starting slow and then going faster. During this time, Lin Tian quickly took out the Emperor Spirit Needles and applied them to important acupoints like Youmen, Futong Valley, Shiguan, and Qixue.
The Spiritual Qi contained within the Emperor Spirit Needles connected at this moment, forming an invisible array to accelerate the flow of blood, soon turning Mei Ruyan’s skin reddish.
The position where the Emperor Spirit Needles were applied was at the Chong meridian of the Eight Extraordinary Meridians. It can regulate the Qi and blood of the twelve meridians, hence called the Sea of the Twelve Meridians, also known as Blood Sea.
One branch ascends from the upper part of the throat and nasal passage, permeating the Yang meridians with essence Qi.
Another branch descends into the large collateral of the Kidney meridian in the lesser Yin, diverging from the Qichong area, penetrating the body, moving along the inner ankle, bone origin, crossing the foot dorsum into the large toe spaces.
Lin Tian infused all the Spiritual Qi into Mei Ruyan’s body, impacting her Sea of Qi and harmonizing up and down.
He was opening Mei Ruyan’s Chong meridian!
For ordinary people, opening the Chong meridian is like sailing against the current, with difficulty so great it leaves one in awe, and that’s why high-level martial artists are so rare.
For Lin Tian, being an outsider, using his Spiritual Qi to open the Chong meridian made it even harder.
Fortunately, the Emperor Spirit Needles served as a support, alleviating many troubles.
Approximately three hours passed, Mei Ruyan’s vital blood had been returned to her body, transported throughout by Spiritual Qi, and finally concentrated in the Chong meridian.
"Cough cough cough..."
Lin Tian’s hand suddenly slid off Mei Ruyan’s body, uncontrollably coughing dryly, feeling his throat parched and slightly sweet.
This is a sign of excessive consumption of Spiritual Qi; in these three hours, all Spiritual Qi had been squandered, leaving the Sea of Qi empty, yet only a third of the Chong meridian was opened.
A third can indeed absorb some vital blood, though Lin Tian was not satisfied.
Supporting himself on the bedside, Lin Tian shakily stood up, feeling weak in the legs, unsteady on his feet, and dizzy.
"Spiritual Qi has been overdrafted..."
Lin Tian sighed lightly, not expecting the consequences to be so severe.
Gathering his composure, Lin Tian opened the door and ran outside, soon returning with a small box, locking the door.
Opening the box, it contained small orange-yellow pills, only as small as peanuts, yet emitting a fragrant herbal scent.
This is naturally the Qi Increasing Elixir, which can temporarily increase Spiritual Qi without side effects, known as Spirit Pills.
Inside the box, there were only a little more than thirty pills, Lin Tian was not confident this would be enough, as for a Golden Core expert, the amount that can be restored is still quite limited.
Swish~
Lin Tian reached out, grabbing a handful, tossing them three at a time into his mouth, chewing slightly before swallowing.
As Spiritual Qi flowed slightly, the Qi Increasing Elixir transformed into the purest Spiritual Qi, injected into the Sea of Qi.
Meanwhile, Lin Tian also opened up all pores, absorbing the Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi, within about five minutes, the Sea of Qi was full again.
This recovery speed was shockingly fast!
After a deep breath, Lin Tian once more directed the Spiritual Qi to his palms, then injected them into Mei Ruyan’s body, impacting the acupoints on the Chong meridian, appearing extremely difficult.
After a day and a half, or thirty-six hours later, Lin Tian finally fully opened the Chong meridian.
His own Qi Increasing Elixirs were long gone, yet fortunately, the Xu Family had some stock, which all ended up in his mouth.
During this period, Lin Tian no longer remembered how many times his Sea of Qi had emptied and refilled, though ultimately, heaven does not disappoint the perseverant.
In thirty-six hours, the vital blood had been injected into Mei Ruyan’s Chong meridian, the meridian state was no longer as bad as before, at least no longer weak as gossamer, appearing much more vital.
Nonetheless, Lin Tian looked pale, stepping lightly as if walking on cotton, seemingly about to step into the void with the next step.
As he opened the door, Miaoqiu greeted him anxiously, asking, "How’s the situation now? You went in with those Qi Increasing Elixirs for a whole day, worrying me sick."
Lin Tian could see Miaoqiu had dark circles on her face, evidently having stayed up all night.
"There shouldn’t be any issue now, and later, have someone stew a portion of the medicine your father drinks for Ruyan, it should be effective." Lin Tian said, "There’s no problem now, you should go rest, don’t exhaust yourself."
Miaoqiu softly responded, "I’m also someone who cultivates, I won’t get tired so easily. But you, you don’t look too well."
Lin Tian chuckled, trying his best to hide it, yet still giving himself away.
"It’s nothing, just hungry for too long, lacking strength," Lin Tian laughed.
"Then I’ll go make millet porridge for you, wait a moment."
Lin Tian stepped forward, holding Miaoqiu’s hand, "Go rest, I’ll find something to eat myself."
"I’ll only rest after you fill your stomach, just wait a moment, okay?" Smiling, Miaoqiu freed herself from Lin Tian’s hand, walking briskly toward the kitchen.
Lin Tian watched that back, foolishly grinning like a fool.
Suddenly, sensing something amiss behind him, Lin Tian turned around alertly, only to see the little rascal, Xiang Ming. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
"Hey, kid, what are you looking at here? Don’t you know better than to spy? And when you meet your master, aren’t you supposed to greet him?" Lin Tian glared and asked.
"Humph, I’m not going to salute you." Xiang Ming made a face at Lin Tian and then cursed, "You big pervert!"
"Hey!" Lin Tian took a big step forward, flashing to Xiang Ming’s side, tugging his ear and laughingly asked, "Who are you calling a big pervert, kid?"
"You! Ow~ It hurts! Big pervert, let go!"
Lin Tian asked, both amused and annoyed, "What’s your explanation for calling me a big pervert?"
"Don’t think I didn’t see, just now you held my sister’s hand and stole some affection. Yuck! Shameless!"
