The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast
Chapter 1762: Memories Will Be Erased
The Different Pupils Individuals looked in the direction Little Taotie pointed to, each seeing different scenes.
Some saw a cloud of blood mist, others a mass of murkiness, some saw something bloody and indistinct, others witnessed a cartoonish character, and yet some perceived a red glowing ball...
Little Taotie saw a red egg.
Due to Little Taotie’s gaze, it revealed itself; though it lacked a physical body, it was an unformed Ghost, having accidentally absorbed some Yin Qi over the years, gaining some abilities, such as its skill in transforming into various shapes.
The old man frowned upon seeing that entity, which continuously changed forms in his view.
The old man could roughly deduce the situation; the Ghost’s lingering thoughts centered around this unborn child, and the child, through some adventures, had become a Ghost Cultivator.
"Now that we’ve found the child, we can leave," the old man said solemnly.
Queen Flower Lady received some eye drops from Lou Lan, applied them immediately, and saw her friend and that blood mist.
"It’s your child, your unborn child! Look over there!" she urged her friend, but as soon as her friend turned to see, the entity vanished like playing hide-and-seek.
Repeatedly, Queen Flower Lady saw and pointed it out, but when her friend looked, it disappeared.
The old man frowned, "It’s filled with resentment, doesn’t want to see its mother."
Upon hearing this, Queen Flower Lady shouted at the blood mist, "It’s not like that, she didn’t deliberately cause you to disappear. Look, this is her diary; she loves you dearly, sews new clothes for you every year. She learned sewing specially just for your new clothes!"
The blood mist turned into a cartoon-like doll, resembling a cute little boy with big ears, blinking large manga eyes at the diary.
Though it couldn’t read, it seemingly sensed emotions from the diary. It babbled unintelligibly, words even Little Taotie couldn’t understand.
Little Taotie could converse with Ghosts but couldn’t talk to babies.
After a moment of contemplation, the old man said, "Burn the diary for it."
Without hesitation, Queen Flower Lady lit the diary.
As the diary burned to ashes, a new diary appeared in Little Ghost’s hands, the text transforming into strange symbols, something it seemed able to comprehend.
At this moment, the friend Ghost slowly turned her head, finally seeing the child. Her once dull eyes showed an ecstatic emotion, yet the black aura on her intensified.
"Not good! She’s losing her mind!" Little Taotie rushed forward, grabbing the friend Ghost’s hair, "What are you doing? Do you want to devour it?"
Her previously murky gaze cleared once more. Realizing what instincts had driven her to do, she almost consumed Little Ghost, feeling immensely guilty, she began to cry softly, tears flowing in amber.
Little Ghost seemed curious about those tears, drifting closer to her, reaching out a hand to touch.
A miraculous scene unfolded; when Little Ghost touched the tears, its original resentment vanished instantly, and the black aura around the friend Ghost, born of obsession turning into an Evil Spirit, also dissipated.
The friend Ghost hugged Little Ghost tightly, laughing and crying.
The old man looked at Queen Flower Lady coldly, "Let this be the last time."
Queen Flower Lady shivered slightly, nodding repeatedly, "Never again, never will I bring trouble to the Special Department."
Queen Flower Lady borrowed a Magic Artifact box from Little Taotie to contain Ghosts, inviting her friend into the box, and went to her friend’s home.
Once Queen Flower Lady left, Little Taotie ran to the old man’s side, asking, "If there’s a next time, will there be punishment?"
The old man smiled, "Would you like to know?"
Little Taotie nodded eagerly, curiosity filling his face.
The old man said seriously, "She’d be hypnotized, erasing all memories related to the Special Department, and from then on, she’d remember nothing."
