The Martial Doctor
Chapter 228 - 200: A Conversation Between Two Women
Although Yue Shisan couldn’t utilize his internal energy, his inherent strength was still immense, allowing him to stand steadily. However, with chains on him, he was still not free.
He had been trained into a machine, with no expressions visible on his face, remaining completely emotionless.
"Yue Shisan, you ambushed me, striking my back with a palm, nearly taking my life. It’s a mercy I haven’t killed you," Si Miaoxue approached slowly.
"Kill me!"
"I won’t kill you, but I will destroy your martial arts, turning you into a cripple!" Si Miaoxue struck Yue Shisan’s Dantian.
"Puh!" With his Dantian crippled, a lifetime of hard cultivation was wasted. Yue Shisan dropped to his knees, roaring towards the sky.
"You are too dangerous. If I don’t do this, I can’t sleep at night."
...
Finally, she entered the room where Yue Mei’Er was held.
Yue Mei’Er’s treatment was slightly better than Yue Shisan’s, merely having a soft couch, but the chains and shackles were the same.
Despite her disheveled state, upon seeing Si Miaoxue enter, Yue Mei’Er straightened up, trying to maintain her usual graceful posture.
"Miaoxue, you’re here."
"How did you sleep?" Si Miaoxue smiled slightly, approaching and asking, completely unlike sworn enemies.
"It’s alright, can’t compare to the soft bedsheets my sister has upstairs."
"I thought you would stay awake all night." Si Miaoxue chuckled, "I’ve crippled Yue Shisan’s martial arts; he’s too dangerous."
Upon hearing this, Yue Mei’Er’s expression stiffened, as this was definitely not good news for her.
"Sister, why go to such lengths? Shisan is just a servant. As long as I’m around, he’ll be more loyal to you than to me!" Yue Mei’Er said.
"Save your tricks; do you think I would believe you?" Si Miaoxue replied with a cold smile.
"Sister, you know very well that killing me would not only anger the Yue but the Moon Worship Sect as well, and the Sect Leader himself. Ten years ago, he was very angry when you took the chance to escape," Yue Mei’Er retorted.
"Don’t mention him to me. That old fool also fancies you, otherwise why would you come to Dongshan with such effort?" Si Miaoxue laughed freely.
"Sister, you’ve found the Saint Heir, but you can’t accomplish things alone; you need help," Yue Mei’Er coaxed. "Your master Long Po didn’t actually steal the Moon God Record; it was just a ploy by the Sect Leader to lure you back..."
Si Miaoxue frowned; that old man still wouldn’t let her go, just because she had refused to serve him back then.
Yue Mei’Er was up to her tricks even in dire straits; truly, this woman couldn’t be trusted easily.
Maybe a different approach would be needed.
"In truth, he doesn’t care about the Saint Heir’s life or death; he only cares about his own pleasure. Everyone knows he’s long been unable to procreate, yet he still aims to defile young girls. If I stayed in the Moon Palace, I would likely meet the same fate!" Yue Mei’Er suddenly expressed with a look of indignation.
"You are a Yue woman; would he dare to force himself on you?"
"Compared to the interests of the Yue family, sacrificing one woman means nothing. If the Yue family could produce an offspring with the Saint Heir’s bloodline, it would be a lucrative deal." As a Yue woman, Yue Mei’Er naturally understood the hypocrisy and ruthlessness of the Yue family.
"It seems the Yue family indeed has some special method for cultivating bloodlines!"
"Sister, if you let me live, I’m willing to teach you this method. Then, if you bear a child for the Saint Heir, your position will be solidified!" Yue Mei’Er proposed.
"No need. You don’t know how skilled the Saint Heir is in medicine; your so-called method might be insignificant in his eyes!" Si Miaoxue stated proudly.
"Sister, don’t you wish for the Saint Heir to favor only you in the future?"
"Yue Mei’Er, I understand your intentions clearly. You just want to get close to the Saint Heir through me, seduce him, and ultimately climb onto his bed, right?"
Yue Mei’Er did not deny it.
"Miaoxue, the Saint Heir already has a sister-disciple who grew up with him, betrothed since childhood. Their affection is far deeper than yours or mine. You’re much older than the Saint Heir. If you can’t bear him a child soon, it will only get harder. Once a woman is over thirty, having children becomes difficult. The Sect Leader always chooses young girls to serve for this reason," Yue Mei’Er argued.
"My matters with the Saint Heir are none of your concern." She knew Yue Mei’Er was using these words to manipulate her, but she couldn’t deny that there was some truth in her remarks.
"Miaoxue, I truly have a way to help you."
"Oh, really?"
"Sister, you run Qin House, so you should understand matters between men and women. The Saint Heir might not have such experience; you have the duty to guide him through the transformation from a boy to a man..."
Si Miaoxue couldn’t help but spit in her mind; he needed her guidance? With the skills she had learned, which of them wasn’t taught to her by him?
Transformation, he has long since perfected those skills, though indeed she had initiated it.
"Yin Mei’Er, you seem to know quite a bit. Isn’t this part of your Yin’s tradition?" Si Miaoxue mocked.
"Being candidates for Consort Yue, these bedroom secrets are mandatory courses. You left early, or someone would have taught you." Yue Mei’Er explained.
"This was that old man’s requirement, right?"
"Partially, and partially some subordinates trying to curry favor with him by gathering things from outside..."
"By the way, I’ve reported to headquarters in my name, saying you’re searching for the Saint Heir deep in Longchuan Canyon and have been missing for over half a month. I requested the sect to send my master here to assist me in entering Longchuan Canyon to find you and Yue Shisan. If, as you said, my master is imprisoned in Moon Demon Prison, she should be given a chance for redemption and allowed to come here. Then you and Yue Shisan might return alive, but if someone else is sent, then I’m sorry, you and Yue Shisan will die!" Si Miaoxue spoke slowly, unmasking her intentions.
"No, Miaoxue, you can’t do this. I am useful to both you and the Saint Heir." Yue Mei’Er turned pale with fear.
Si Miaoxue nudged the brick wall lightly with her jade palm.
Yue Mei’Er’s eyes widened.
Looking at Yue Mei’Er with disbelief.
The palm strike just now was too familiar, precisely the signature skill of the Yue family: Absolute Yin Hand, seemingly cultivated to a certain level.
But how could Si Miaoxue master Absolute Yin Hand and reach such a level in a short time?
"Yue Mei’Er, don’t play tricks, or you’ll die under your Yin’s signature skill!" Si Miaoxue said with a smile.
"How did you..."
"The Saint Heir taught me, and he taught me hand in hand."
