The way he stands there and says nothing but still steals the whole scene. The way he looks at the camera makes my heart stop. Every single time. Aster, if you are reading this, please know that I love you.

Now for the real review. The movie itself was good. The opening was strong and pulled me in right away. The middle part slowed down a bit, and I started to feel bored in some scenes. But then the last part picked up again and the ending credit scene made up for everything. Overall, it is worth watching, especially if you want to see Aster do what he does best.

PS: Detective Lewis and Dr. Stevens have a purely professional relationship. There’s nothing romantic about it. Anyone who says otherwise is blind.]

After posting his review, Wulfric went back home. He was excited to finally check the surprise gift he had gotten. He already knew it would contain photos of Aster, but he wondered if there might be other things inside besides just the pictures.

As soon as he got home, he went straight to his study. He sat down at his desk and took out the box wrapped in [The Shadow Within]’s poster from his space ring. He was about to untie the ribbon when he stopped for a moment. He decided to turn on his Terminal and set it up to record himself opening the box. He made sure the camera would not show his face. The angle would only show his hands as he opened the box.

He cleared his throat before he started talking. "Alright, I’m going to open this now. This is the surprise gift that Starlights can get if you watch [The Shadow Within] and pass the quiz that Polaris put out."

He untied the black ribbon and lifted the lid off the box. Inside, the first thing he saw was a small clear case attached to a short keychain loop. It had a slot in the front where a card could slide in. He picked it up and turned it over in his hand.

"This looks like something you would put a card in," he said.

Thinking how the main gift would be a photo, this case should be for that. He set it aside and reached back into the box. He pulled out a small card with handwriting on it.

"To my dear Starlights," he read aloud. "Thank you for always being there for me. Your support means more than I can say. I hope you enjoyed the movie and that this small gift makes you smile. With love, Aster."

Wulfric shook his head after reading it. "You don’t need to thank us. Supporting you is just what we should do."

He put the card down and reached into the box one more time. His fingers found a thick envelope. He knew this was where the photo would be. He pulled it out slowly and held it up so the camera could see.

He didn’t open the envelope right away. Instead, he ran his thumb along the sealed edge for a moment.

"I’m a little nervous," he admitted. "I wonder what’s inside this one."

He carefully opened the envelope from the back. He slid the photo out just enough to see the back of it first. The dark surface looked like a galaxy printed on heavy paper. Aster’s beautiful signature was at the center in colors that shifted like the aurora borealis.

"Here we go," he said quietly.

He turned the photo over.

On the card, Aster stood against a soft white background. He wore a long white robe with thin silver thread stitched along the edges of the sleeves and around the collar. A pendant hung from his neck, a small sun set inside a circular frame. His black hair fell loose around his face. A gentle smile rested on his lips, and his eyes looked warm and kind. The whole image made him seem like someone you were not supposed to touch, only look at from far away.
