Chapter 1198: The True King of the Dragon

A week later, I can finally see something different. Far away in front of us, I can see humans. Well, not a living humans. They’re undead.

Those undead doesn’t feel the same as other undead we faced before. They’re all strong. They must be strong mages from the past that the Death Mage resurrected as zombies.

If that’s true, then the Death Mage should be there. And the Evil God should be somewhere nearby.

"Andro, it seems like we finally see the end of our destination," I said to the dragon I stand on.

"Then I will give it my all. I want you to use my dead body as a stepping stone in you getting rid of them," Andro said.

"Are you sure about this? Even if the next Kaiser Dragon has been born, it doesn’t mean that you have to die this early," I said.

"It’s fine. I prefer to die in my own terms. Whether I could annihilate everything or not doesn’t matter to me. I want to use my life to kill as many as possible. As the most powerful dragon, there’s a special innate ability we have that we can use by sacrificing my life. Because that is the condition of the ability I will use, it’s something I have never used before. And before I died, I want to fight with that power," Andro said.

He has decided his end. He will die here. Whether the result of this fight will be positive for us or not, he will die here.

He is huge. His voice is loud. It means that everyone on his back could hear him talking. But they’re just silent. They’re not that close with Andro.

The only one here close to Andro is Pawzer who sat down on Andro’s cheek and look into Andro’s eye directly.

"Are you sure about this?" Pawzer asked.

"Yes. Even if we win and I survive, there’s nothing else in the future for me. I will die in the end. Simply because the next Kaiser Dragon has been born. But unlike my predecessor who died somewhere and had his body eaten by monsters. I want to die in my own term. And this is it," Andro said.

"...If that’s what you want, old friend," Pawzer said.

It’s really the end. We’ve known each other for quite a while. I remember back then when I was riding on Spot’s back and met him who was in pain from his back being used as a monster nest. His intimidation back then was so scary that Spot lost his consciousness.

And soon, he will die. And he will die fighting. Opening a path for us all.

"Andro, is there anything you’d like me to do? Do you want to meet the next Kaiser Dragon? Or maybe talk with the Kaiser Whale?" I asked.

"No. I have done my farewell. I have talked with them all and they understand me. This will be my end."

There’s nothing else he wanted in this world other than using his power by sacrificing his life to kill the enemies. I respect that choice.

"Alright. And I’m sorry to say this but once you die here, I will cut your body into pieces so the Death Mage won’t be able to revive you," I said.

"That’s what I want. No one shall use my dead body however they want," Andro said.

But with his huge body, can I cut it into pieces? It’s the size of a small continent. I need a friggin’ huge sword to be able to cut it in half.

If his dead body then revived by the Death Mage, it will be the end for us. Well, not really. But fighting zombie Andro will be difficult. Who knows how many sacrifice needed to kill him?

I hope it won’t come to that.

"Kaiser Tortoise and Kaiser Serpent, open the path for the others. They will fight now. I’ll fly low so you don’t have to worry about the height and you all can jump. Let’s go!"

I look ahead at the undead humans in front of us. It’s still far. But with my Divine Vision, I can see rather well. I hope that the Death Mage would be there. But all I can see so far is undead. I need to see even more.

"Hey, he said to jump," Pawzer said to me.

"Okay."

As soon as I jumped, I stopped looking ahead and looked up at where I was standing before. That’s Andro. He took in a very deep breath. With his size, I can feel that it seems like I was about to get sucked in into his large mouth. His lung is crazy huge.

And then Andro’s whole body shining bright. It’s so bright that once I landed, it’s as if there’s a second sun closer to the ground. I turn my back from him because he’s so bright. But I keep watching behind me using Divine Vision.

After that, the light became smaller and smaller. Until finally, the light disappears.

From that light, a living being can be seen. That’s Andro. He’s not in his original form. He’s in his humanoid form like the werewolves and the others.

And in his form, he is covered in scales. Thank god he’s not naked. And he has tails and wings. He looks intimidating.

He looks like a good-looking human. Five-meter tall human. But even though he’s hundreds of times smaller than his original form, I can’t imagine him being weaker.

In fact, from his presence alone, I can feel that he’s much stronger than before.

"ROAAAAAARRR!!!"

In his humanoid form, Andro roared. I looked into his body with my Divine Vision and I can see that his heart is bigger in ratio compared to ordinary human. And that big heart of his is beating fast. Really fast. No wonder he will die once he used that power.

"I don’t have much time. Roy, I will go ahead. Follow me, everyone!"

With Andro in the lead killing all the enemies in sight, we followed him. Even when he’s small, a swing of his claws could kill enemies far from him.

"...That’s the King of all dragons," Cooldra said under me because I’m riding him.

"Can you transform like him?" I asked.

"There’s a legend that dragon could do that in the past. But it’s just a legend. And the one who can do it is the true king of dragons. And I can’t believe that I see one right in front of me," Cooldra said.

"I see. But that won’t be long. He will die soon," I said.

"I know. But with his sacrifice, we will surely end this war," Cooldra said.

I hope so. Let’s just kill everyone in sight.

The zombies are killed effortlessly by Andro alone. We don’t have to do anything as we follow Andro from behind.

"Angela, save your tears for later," I said to Angela who is crying since she knows that Andro will die soon.

"...Okay."

The mage zombies finally started to act. They use powerful magic. Really powerful. Master level mages from the past. Maybe some of them have reached the stage beyond master level.

But they are not worthy to face Andro alone. They are powerless against the Kaiser Dragon who used his life to kill them.

"Veronica! Celestine! I see a weird door but I can’t see through it!"

Far ahead, I see a door blocking my sight. I can’t see through even with my Divine Vision.

I explained the characteristic of the door to Celestine and Veronica because I remember that they told me once about a door when I asked them about the Evil God.

"That seems to be right. That should be the door where the Evil God was back when we were in the cult," Veronica said.

"I think so. But I never know what’s inside," Celestine added.

That’s fine. We will know about it soon enough.

Even more powerful mages appeared. Andro could still hold them back but killing them seems to be difficult for him.

"Everyone, attack from distance! Support Andro!" I shouted as I change some Blobbies into a gun and shoot from distance while riding Cooldra.

Everyone started using their magic or their long range attack. And Andro could push the enemies back.

The Death Mage and probably the Evil God must be inside that door. I have to get in and kill them.

It has started. The battle that will end it all. If we win, the world will be saved. If we lose, the world will end.

But it doesn’t matter to me. I fight because I need to destroy the cult due to my trauma. My desire to kill them all.

Will I recover once I kill them all? I don’t know. I’m still someone who returned to the past with a brain damage. That is something that can be healed.

My trauma could be healed. But I don’t know about my brain damage. But as long as I can think, I will fight the cult until the end.

Evil God can just die.
