Chapter 751: 751. A New Familiar World

Tyler found himself standing within the familiar white space of the Orion Cube once again.

Not far away stood the Decateron he had encountered in the previous world. The mechanical being appeared largely unchanged, but the faint lights flowing across its body were far more active than before. Numerous symbols flickered across its metallic surface as if it was constantly processing an enormous amount of information.

After a series of mechanical sounds, the Decateron finally spoke.

"I have connected with the other fragments."

Its voice contained a trace of relief.

Then it expressed its gratitude toward Tyler.

Before Tyler could ask what exactly had happened, the entire white space suddenly trembled. The floor beneath his feet shook violently and cracks began appearing throughout the seemingly endless world.

Tyler frowned.

"What happened?"

"The Orion Cube is being damaged," the Decateron replied. "After connecting to the other fragments, I have learned the truth regarding your previous trials. There is no longer enough time. You do not need to visit the remaining trial worlds."

Tyler’s expression immediately became serious.

The Decateron continued, "Your final task is simple. Find the Orion Tesseract Cube before it is destroyed. Everything now depends on that."

Another violent tremor shook the space.

This time, entire sections of the white world flickered as if they could disappear at any moment.

Tyler looked around and asked, "If the Cube is destroyed, what happens?"

The Decateron was silent for a moment before answering.

"The fragments will disappear."

"The worlds connected to them?"

"They will disappear as well."

Tyler finally understood why the Decateron seemed so anxious.

The countless trial worlds weren’t merely simulations.

They actually existed.

The people living inside them existed as well.

If the Orion system collapsed, everything connected to it would be erased.

"Then I’ll find it," Tyler said.

The Decateron nodded.

"Please use the Gacha immediately after entering the next world. We do not know how long we will continue to exist."

The entire space shook again.

Large cracks spread across the white sky.

Several distant structures collapsed and vanished into nothingness.

Even the Decateron’s body occasionally flickered.

Tyler took a deep breath.

"I’ll do my best."

Soon afterward, a giant cube descended from above and enclosed him inside. The white world gradually faded from view.

Tyler closed his eyes.

---

When he opened them again, he was already somewhere else.

Without hesitation, he silently called out.

"Gacha."

At the same time, he began observing his surroundings.

Ancient-style buildings lined both sides of a crowded street. People dressed in long robes walked back and forth carrying baskets, goods, and wooden carts. The smell of food drifted through the air from nearby stalls.

Tyler looked toward the side of the road.

Several beggars sat there holding broken bowls and cracked pots while asking passersby for food.

Then he looked down at himself. His clothes were ragged. His body was covered in dirt. His both hands were wrapped in old cloth. The pain spread throughout his body. The hunger in his stomach was even worse.

Tyler quickly came to a conclusion, "I became a beggar."

Based on the condition of this body, the original owner had probably died from starvation not long ago.

Tyler rubbed his forehead.

Compared to becoming a president, or a kicked out hero party member, this start was somewhat miserable.

Fortunately, a familiar object appeared in his hand. An old copper pot. The moment he saw it, Tyler smiled. At least the Gacha worked.

Suddenly, a mocking voice sounded nearby.

"Look everyone, it’s the toad who wanted to eat swan meat."

Tyler slowly raised his head.

Standing before him was a young man dressed in expensive robes. His clothes alone were probably worth more than everything Tyler currently owned.

The young man held a beautiful girl in his arms.

The girl looked delicate and elegant, but the way she looked at Tyler was filled with mockery.

"Tyler, you didn’t expect this to happen, did you?" she said with a laugh.

Tyler blinked.

"So my name is Tyler here too."

The young man snorted.

"Juvi, don’t waste your time talking to him. His family is finished. His wealth is gone. He’s nothing more than a beggar now."

After speaking, the young man deliberately pulled the girl closer and kissed her cheek. The display was so obvious that even nearby pedestrians could tell he was showing off.

Juvi immediately laughed.

"That’s right." Then she looked at Tyler, "Oh, and don’t go around telling people I was once your fiancée."

She reached into her sleeve, took out a copper coin, and tossed it toward him.

Clink.

The coin landed directly inside Tyler’s copper pot.

"Consider it charity."

The young couple laughed and walked away together.

Tyler remained seated. His gaze slowly lowered toward the coin resting inside the copper pot.

A moment later, a small smile appeared on his face.

Tyler didn’t immediately return to the street after Juvi and her companion left. Instead, he carried the copper pot into a deserted alley nearby. The alley was narrow and dirty, with only a few wooden crates piled against the walls. After making sure nobody was around, he sat down and looked into the copper pot.

Tyler calmly picked up the copper coins one by one and wrapped them in a piece of cloth. By the time he finally stood up, the small cloth bundle in his hands was already bulging with copper coins.

"Not bad."

Although copper coins weren’t worth much individually, quantity could make up for quality. At least he wouldn’t starve to death on his first day in this world.

Carrying the cloth bundle, Tyler soon arrived before an inn. The business seemed decent. Customers entered and exited constantly while the aroma of cooked meat drifted out from inside. Unfortunately, before he could even step through the entrance, an inn worker blocked his path.

"Beggars aren’t allowed inside."

Tyler glanced at his reflection in a nearby window and found himself unable to argue. His clothes were torn, his hair was messy, and he looked like someone who hadn’t eaten properly in months.

"But I have money," Tyler said, clearly not offended.

The worker immediately laughed.

"Who cares about a beggar’s money? Go somewhere else."

As he spoke, he waved his hand dismissively, as though chasing away a stray dog. Tyler glanced toward the innkeeper sitting behind the counter. The man had clearly seen everything but made no attempt to interfere.

Tyler simply nodded and turned around.

He wasn’t angry.

People respected status and wealth. Since this inn didn’t want his money, another inn certainly would.

Sure enough, the inn directly across the street welcomed him with an entirely different attitude. The elderly innkeeper didn’t seem to care about Tyler’s appearance at all.

"Young master, do you need a room?"

Tyler almost laughed.

Young master?

Looking at his current appearance, even he felt embarrassed hearing that title.

"I want your best room."

The old man’s smile immediately widened.

"Of course, Young Master."

Tyler paid several days’ worth of lodging in advance. The old innkeeper personally arranged everything and even instructed a servant to lead him upstairs.

Meanwhile, across the street, the previous innkeeper and the worker were watching the entire scene.

The innkeeper slowly turned his head.

The worker sighed, "I understand. I won’t be getting paid this month."

The innkeeper nodded with satisfaction.

At least the fool still knew where he went wrong.

After entering his room, Tyler asked for hot water and food. The servant quickly left to make arrangements. A short while later, Tyler finished bathing and walked out feeling much better. The moment he entered the room again, he discovered that not only had the food arrived, but a set of clean clothes had also been neatly placed beside the table.

Tyler immediately understood what happened.

The innkeeper had probably noticed his condition and prepared them for him.

Although they weren’t expensive garments, they were far better than the rags he had been wearing.

After changing clothes, Tyler finally sat down and began eating. The original owner of this body had likely starved to death, so the lingering hunger remained intense. He steadily finished the food while observing the city through the window.

People walked through the streets below.

Merchants shouted from their stalls.

Carriages rolled across the roads.

At first glance, it looked like an ordinary ancient city.

Tyler rested his chin on one hand and silently considered his situation. The most important thing right now was understanding what kind of world he had entered. If this was merely a mortal world, things would be simple. With the Copper Pot in his possession, accumulating wealth would be easier than breathing. Once wealth reached a certain level, influence, power, and territory would naturally follow.

Just as he was thinking that, a shadow suddenly flashed across the sky.

Tyler narrowed his eyes.

A young man stood atop a flying sword as he streaked through the air before disappearing beyond the city walls.

The corners of Tyler’s mouth slowly lifted.

"A cultivation world."

That was even better.

Cultivators needed resources. Resources required wealth.

And among all the things Tyler possessed, the one thing he would never lack was money.
