 The studio apartment’s exactly as I left it this morning. Still tiny as fuck with clothes everywhere. The couch that doubles as my bed is buried under a mountain of skirts and crop tops, and the kitchenette’s counters are stacked with empty cup ramen.
 "Yo, this beat slaps!" Haruka’s already connected her phone to my cheap-ass speaker, shaking that fat ass to some Japanese rap while I hunt for sustenance. "Come dance with me, baby!"
 "In a minute," I call back, diving into the fridge. "Gotta find... something..."
 Empty shelves stare back at me.
 Well, not completely empty - there’s half a bottle of something pink and probably alcoholic, plus what might have been takeout at some point but has steadily begun the process of becoming a new life form.
 [Note to self: Clean fridge before it achieves sentience.]
 "Baaabe," Haruka slides up behind me, those perfect tits pressing against my back as she peers into the void that is my fridge. "When’s the last time you went shopping?"

 The bass hits me before we even get inside. It’s some new K-pop track that has Haruka bouncing next to me, making those perfect tits defy gravity. Two guys walking past actually trip over themselves staring.

 "Naturally," I respond smugly, shrugging. "******sigh******* the life of a star is so burdensome but I suppose I’ll manage."
 The dance floor’s packed. I recognize some viewers from the exhibition mixing with locals, magic and mundane getting real friendly. I catch at least three Crescent Moon uniforms in various states of dishevelment.
 "Wow, Akari Nakamura, huh? Come over here!" The bartender waves us over. "Saw your fight online! That was dope!"
 "Thanks baby!" I lean over the bar, giving her a perfect view down my top. Some guy next to us actually chokes on his drink. "Hook us up?"
 She’s already pouring something neon pink.
 "On the house for our star~ Though maybe save some of that magic for the rest of us?"
 "I’ll try."
 [Oh, this is gonna be FUN.]
 "Come on," I grab Haruka’s hand, dragging her toward the dance floor. "Let’s give these thirsty bitches a show they’ll never forget!"
 The music changes - something with a heavy beat that has Haruka’s ass already moving. Around us, the crowd parts like we’re actual fucking royalty. Someone throws their bra. Another person’s actually crying.
 "You know what this means, right?" Haruka grins, already grinding against me.
 "That we’re about to make everyone in here question their sexuality?"

 There, in the middle of the dance floor, illuminated like some unholy vision from a porn site, are Akari and Haruka. And they’re...

 "Is that..." Miyuki squints, then goes red as a tomato. "Is she actually..."
 "Yup." I watch in horror as Haruka drops it low, face buried between Akari’s tits while at least fifty phones record the moment. Pretty sure I just saw money being thrown. "That’s happening. In public. Where people can see."
 "We should..." Mei starts, but the crowd behind us surges forward, practically shoving us inside. The door closes with a final-sounding thud.

 "Same," Mei’s still staring at the dance floor like it’s showing her the meaning of life. "Like, way WAY drunker. Do they take card? Because I might need to start a tab..."
 "It’ll be fine," I lie to myself, ordering something that’s definitely going to be bright pink and terrible. Probably named something stupid like ’Magical Girl’s First Kiss’ or ’Pussy Potion #9.’ "We won’t even have to interact with them. They probably won’t even notice-"
 "LILY-CHAN!"
 [... Fuck my entire life.]
 "Maybe if we don’t move," Miyuki whispers, frozen like a proper deer in headlights, "they won’t see us?"
 But it’s too late. I can already hear them coming - the sound of expensive heels, drunk girls cheering, and what might be actual fucking applause.
 [This is what I get for trying to be social...]
 "Pretend we’re dead?" Mei suggests hopefully.

 "Three shots of whatever’s strongest," I tell the bartender, who’s watching this disaster unfold with way too much amusement. "And like, keep them coming until I either pass out or forget I ever went to Crescent Moon."
 "Make it six," Miyuki adds, still not looking at the approaching chaos. "And maybe some water for when we inevitably throw up from shame?"
 [Note to self: Next time someone suggests ’going out for drinks’ - literally just poison yourself instead. It’ll be quicker and less painful than whatever’s about to happen.]
 "Well well well," Akari fucking Nakamura saunters over, still practically naked from whatever the hell she was doing on that dance floor. "Look who decided to come watch the show!"
 Haruka’s right behind her, both of them sweaty and grinning like they just got done fucking in the bathroom. Which, knowing them, they probably did.
 "We’re not here for you," I snap, but it’s hard to sound intimidating when there’s literally money stuck in Akari’s cleavage. "Just getting drinks."
 "Sure, sure." She slides onto the stool next to me, basically forcing Miyuki to scoot closer to Mei. "That’s why you picked the bar where I just went viral~"

 "Speaking of viral," Haruka leans over, shoving her phone in my face. "Your little self-decapitation thing is trending! People are calling you the ’Murder Queen’ now!"
