Chapter 466: Why are you attacking me?

It was another day.

Only one day remained before the Academy officially started once again. The morning air felt cool while soft sunlight spread across Arcadia Academy’s massive training grounds.

Several students had already returned and were practicing nearby, though most of the larger training areas remained relatively empty for now.

Currently, Amon and Aisha stood near one of the far training grounds away from others.

Aisha crossed her arms beneath her chest while staring suspiciously at Amon. Her black wolf ears with red streaks twitched lightly atop her head while her long fluffy tail swayed lazily behind her.

She wore tight black training pants along with a fitted black t-shirt that emphasized her tall athletic figure perfectly. Honestly, she looked incredibly attractive.

Meanwhile Amon stood before her with a strangely serious expression.

Aisha narrowed her red eyes slightly.

’She’s really hot. Can’t deny that.’ Amon thought.

"Why did you bring me here?" she asked in an irritated tone.

Amon looked directly at her before replying seriously, "Because I need your help, Aisha."

She frowned immediately. "What help?"

Then her eyes narrowed suspiciously. "Do you want to spar with me because you became stronger?" Her tone sounded casual, though curious.

Amon quickly shook his head. "No, not that."

Then he scratched his cheek lightly. "Actually, I was learning a new spell."

His eyes brightened slightly. "Luckily, I learned it partially."

Aisha raised one eyebrow curiously. "How many days have you been practicing that spell?"

Amon thought carefully for a moment. "Hmm... a few days." he counted on his fingers.

Then he answered casually, "Like four days, I guess."

He smiled proudly. "It’s a Master Rank spell."

The moment she heard that her eyes widened instantly.

"What?!" Her wolf ears stood upright in shock. "You learned a Master Rank spell halfway in just three or four days?! That’s ridiculous!!"

Amon blinked in surprise at her reaction. "...Was it really that fast?"

He scratched his head awkwardly. "I mean, the speed at which I am learning."

Aisha immediately nodded furiously. "Yes!!"

Her fluffy tail started swaying aggressively behind her. "You are learning way too fast! How are you even doing that?"

She stared at him like he was some kind of monster. "Most people take months to learn a Master Rank spell properly."

Then she pointed toward him dramatically. "Talented geniuses usually take around half a month. Or two weeks."

Her expression looked genuinely shocked.

Meanwhile Amon looked thoughtful. "Really?"

Then he suddenly remembered something. "But Seraphina didn’t react like this."

He shrugged lightly.

"She just said, ’You are learning fast... good.’"

Aisha stared at him silently for several seconds.

Then she rubbed her forehead painfully. "Of course that girl reacted like that."

Her expression twitched. "Seraphina herself is a monster."

Amon blinked.

Aisha continued while sounding emotionally exhausted, "She also learns faster than talented genius-level people."

Then she sighed deeply. "So for her, your speed probably feels normal."

Amon nodded slowly. "Ohhh."

Then he smiled brightly. "Oh my cute wolfy, now calm down. We are here for something else, not to discuss my talent."

Immediately Aisha’s face twitched violently. "Damn it!!"

Her tail puffed slightly behind her. "Don’t call me cute wolfy!"

She pointed angrily toward herself. "I have a proper name, you bastard!"

Amon crossed his arms confidently. "See? You keep calling me bastard instead of Amon."

He smirked proudly. "So it is only natural for me to call you cute wolfy."

Aisha looked utterly offended. "You started it! Bast—"

Then she stopped herself forcefully. "...I mean Amon!"

Amon immediately laughed happily.

"Okay, okay, got it, Aisha."

Then he raised both hands in surrender.

"I will call you by your name from now on."

Only then did Aisha calm down slightly.

She folded her arms beneath her chest again before speaking,

"Good."

Then she narrowed her eyes suspiciously.

"Now tell me why you called me here."

Amon’s expression slowly became serious again.

"The spell I am learning..."

He looked directly at her.

"I want to try it on you."

Aisha blinked once.

"...Pardon?"

Then she stared at him blankly.

"What did you just say?"

Amon smiled gently.

"I want to try the spell on you."

He scratched his cheek awkwardly.

"I hope you can take my attack and tell me how it feels."

For several seconds, Aisha remained completely silent.

Then suddenly, "THAT’S RIDICULOUS!!" Her loud voice echoed throughout the training ground. "Are you mad?!"

She pointed toward him accusingly. "Why would I agree to something like that?!"

Then she remembered something else and looked even more horrified. "Also, didn’t you just say you haven’t even learned the spell completely yet?!"

Amon nodded honestly. "Yes."

Then he quickly explained, "But it’s still usable."

He waved his hands lightly. "The power is weaker right now because I haven’t mastered it."

Then he smiled reassuringly. "Also, it isn’t really a damaging spell."

Aisha looked unconvinced.

Amon continued, "It’s more like a mental illusion attack."

Then he started explaining the spell properly.

"Grave of Eternal Night."

Aisha listened carefully while he explained its effects.

"A fear-type darkness spell."

Amon slowly spoke while recalling the spell description.

"The target gets dragged into an illusionary world of endless darkness for several seconds."

He looked thoughtful.

"The victim may hear whispers, see dead figures, or lose battle awareness."

Aisha’s expression slowly became more uncomfortable the longer she listened.

Then Amon added honestly,

"It can be dangerous for weak-minded people since they might faint."

Aisha stared at him blankly.

"...And you want to use that on me?"

Amon nodded innocently.

"I thought your mental strength was really strong."

Then he smiled sheepishly. As if trying to butter her up. "It might not even work properly on you."

Aisha looked deeply suspicious.

Amon quickly continued before she refused, "So don’t resist, please." he wanted her to experience this. So he even acted more innocently toward her.

He pointed toward her dramatically.

"Otherwise the spell won’t work."

Then he reassured her again,

"It’s weak right now. It won’t seriously harm you."

He looked genuinely curious now.

"If possible, stay inside the spell and tell me what you see."

Aisha looked conflicted.

Her wolf ears twitched lightly while she thought carefully.

Several seconds passed.

Finally she agreed to it, "...Fine." if she didn’t he might start questioning her strength.

She sighed heavily. "Okay."

Then she pointed toward him threateningly. Not showing any nervousness. As if this was no big deal for her. And she was perfectly fine with it."Do it. i am ready for it."

Amon’s eyes brightened immediately.

He nodded excitedly before stepping several meters away from her.

Then darkness mana slowly started gathering around him.

A magic circle formed beneath his feet.

Dark runes shaped like eyes appeared around a black center circle while darkness slowly twisted unnaturally around the area. he didn’t just use his mana but also use his pure darkness from Death’s darkness ability, Which made the spell usable despite not mastering it yet.

Aisha watched carefully.

Then Amon raised his hand.

[Grave of Eternal Night.]

Darkness instantly surged forward.

The spell struck Aisha directly.

Her body froze slightly.

Then her red eyes suddenly turned completely black. She remained still on her position. While her consciousness was in darkness.

Inside the illusion.

Aisha found herself standing within endless darkness.

Nothing existed around her.

There was no light, no sound and no presence.

At first she frowned lightly.

’...That’s it?’

Honestly, it didn’t feel dangerous.

It just looked like empty darkness.

Then suddenly a voice came, "Hey, my cute wolfy~"

Aisha froze instantly. Her wolf ears twitched sharply. That voice definitely belonged to Amon.

She immediately turned around.

But there was nobody there.

Then suddenly she felt something gently caressing her fluffy tail.

Aisha flinched violently.

"W-Who is there?!"

Her heartbeat immediately accelerated.

Then Amon’s voice echoed again.

"My cute wolfy~"

Another whisper followed near her ear.

"So cute."

Aisha’s cheeks slowly started turning red.

"W-What kind of stupid illusion is this?!"

She felt fingers gently petting her head.

"Good girl."

That was enough.

Her face instantly exploded red from embarrassment.

"W-WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!"

Power burst violently from her body.

BOOM!!

She forcefully shattered the illusion almost instantly.

Back in reality, Aisha’s eyes returned to normal.

The first thing she saw was Amon smiling innocently toward her.

"Hey, how was it?"

He looked excited.

"You stayed inside for almost a minute."

Then he smiled gratefully.

"Thanks for listening to me and taking your time to see what happens inside."

But before he could continue. Aisha suddenly dashed toward him furiously. Her face was completely red.

Amon blinked in confusion. Not understanding why she suddenly attacked him.

"...Huh?"

Aisha threw a powerful punch directly toward him.

"What kind of insane spell is that, you bastard?!"

Amon was baffled. But his reflexes moved instantly. Now that he had become much stronger, reacting to her attack was easy.

He blocked her punch immediately.

Then before Aisha could react further, Amon grabbed both her wrists.

SWISH!!

In one smooth movement. He pinned her onto the ground.

THUD!!

Aisha’s eyes widened in shock.

Amon straddled her wide hips firmly, sitting on her. While pinning both her wrists above her head against the ground. Their faces ended up only inches apart. Her big, full breasts press against his chest lightly. Aisha’s entire face instantly turned crimson red. Her wolf ears trembled violently.

Meanwhile Amon looked completely confused. "W-Wait, why are you attacking me?!"
