"Yeah." Anita picked up the coffee Bruce had just put on the table and walked out with Owen.

Bruce looked at the two of them, who were about to disappear into the elevator. His CEO and Miss Anita acted as if nothing had happened. He touched his forehead helplessly. He didn’t know what he was nervous about.

The two of them had clearly just gotten into a fight. Although he hadn’t seen the photos of Miss Miranda and President Owen together, from the President’s tone, he could guess what they were about.

That was why Bruce was so nervous when Anita arrived at the company today. He even subconsciously thought that Miss Anita was here to catch them in the act.

But he didn’t expect the CEO to not care at all and even personally accompany Miss Anita to see Miranda. This was really an eye-opener for him. He was even a little worried about what was going to happen later.

"Bruce, aren’t you coming?" the elevator chimed to the top floor. Owen turned to look at Bruce, who was still standing at the office door, so he asked.

"Yes, CEO, you guys go down first. I’ll be right there." Bruce heard that Owen even invited him to go with them. God, he didn’t dare to witness the scene. He was afraid something would happen later.

When Owen and Anita disappeared into the elevator, Bruce quickly picked up the coffee on the table and took a sip. He felt that he needed to calm himself before he dared to go down.

"President Owen, you’re here. This is?" When they reached the 19th floor, Miranda’s manager saw Owen first and hurried up to him with a smile.

"This is my wife, Anita," Owen said with a smile while glancing at Anita.

"So you’re President Owen’s wife. It’s good to see you," Miranda’s manager said with a smile as she turned to Anita.

"Hello," Anita said with a nod at Miranda’s manager.

"President Owen, this must be your wife, Miss Anita," Miranda said with a smile as she appeared behind the three of them.

"Hello, Miss Miranda," Anita said when she heard Miranda’s voice.

"Hello, Miss Anita. I’ve heard President Owen mention you many times. I’m happy to finally see you today," Miranda said to Anita as she walked.

"It’s good to see you too, Miss Miranda," Anita said as she listened to Miranda.

"President Owen, I wonder if it’s okay for me to talk to your wife in person." Miranda smiled and looked at Owen.

"Of course you can. You don’t have to ask him. I’m happy to talk to you," Anita said to Miranda before Owen could reply.

"Then I’ll have to take up your wife’s time for a while, President Owen. I hope you don’t mind," Miranda said to Owen after a moment of thought.

Actually, as a woman, Miranda could clearly feel that Anita’s attitude towards her was not very friendly.

Perhaps she thought of herself as Owen’s admirer, or perhaps she directed a little of her hatred for Eric on her, but it didn’t matter. There were too many people who didn’t like her. Anita wasn’t the only one.

"Then let’s have lunch together at Xiyue Restaurant. What do you think, Miss Miranda?" Owen glanced at Anita and saw that she had no intention of refusing, so he said.

"There’s no need to eat. I don’t think Miss Anita really wants to eat with me," Miranda said while listening to Owen.

"Then let’s go to the lounge next to ours," Owen said after another moment of thought.

"Miss Anita, let’s go next door and talk," Miranda said, nodding at Anita.

"Owen, don’t come over. Miss Miranda and I will just have a chat." Owen wanted to follow them to the lounge, but when he heard Anita say that, he stood still again.

"I didn’t expect President Owen to listen to you so much. You’re so lucky," Miranda said with a smile while glancing at Owen, who was indeed standing there waiting.

"Miss Miranda, I think many people around you treat you like this, especially those who are obedient," Anita said while listening to Miranda.

"A lot of people? I think you mean people like Eric," Miranda said with a self-deprecating smile as she listened to Anita.

"That’s not what I meant. I just think there should be a lot of people around Miss Miranda who are so outstanding," Anita said while listening to Miranda.

"Miss Anita, I think you must know what kind of person Eric is. I don’t think I need to say much. I wanted to meet and talk to you today to apologize," Miranda said to Anita as she sat on the sofa in the lounge.
