"Bring me my phone, or I’ll ask him myself," Miranda said as she got off the bed and walked out.

"Okay, don’t be like this. Your body hasn’t recovered yet. Don’t be so agitated. I’ll tell you." Seeing that Miranda was serious, Bruce hurried forward to stop her.

"What exactly happened?" Miranda, who had been pulled back to the bed, asked Bruce after sitting down on the bed.

"After you were injured in the company yesterday, the company sealed the news, but I don’t know who leaked it. Now, your fans are all around the company, and some of your fans are around the hospital, so I don’t dare to let you run around," Bruce said softly to Miranda.

"Only your company and my manager know about my injury. But I also told my manager not to leak the news of my injury. He probably won’t tell anyone without my permission," Miranda said after thinking for a moment.

"So we’re also investigating who leaked the news, but we haven’t found out yet. It’s not your side or ours, so this matter is very confusing now."

Bruce had wanted to keep an eye on Miranda to see if someone on her side had leaked it, but it seemed like the culprit was elsewhere.

"But that shouldn’t be the case. The news has leaked, but my manager hasn’t contacted me yet." The more Miranda thought about it, the more she felt that something was wrong. She frowned and said softly.

Hearing Miranda finally mention her manager, Bruce thought about it and said, "Maybe he’s too busy to care about this."

"Impossible. As a manager, dealing with such a thing is something he does often. If such a thing happened, he usually would have come out immediately and asked me to make a statement."

"But why hasn’t he informed me yet? Bring the phone over. I have to ask him."

After so many years in the entertainment industry, Miranda still had a sense of crisis.

Before Bruce could react, she had already taken the phone.

"Miranda, what are you doing? Don’t worry so much. If there’s anything, just let me do it." He didn’t expect Miranda to move so quickly. By the time Bruce reacted, the phone was in her hand.

"Don’t worry about it. I want to ask what’s going on." As she spoke, Miranda called her manager.

"Hey, what’s wrong, Miranda? How are your injuries? I was too busy to ask you," Miranda’s manager said with concern as soon as the call connected.

"Is that so? I’m in the hospital. What are you busy with? Aren’t I your only artist? Why are you so busy when I’m injured?" Miranda said sarcastically.

"Miranda, what are you talking about? Don’t you know how I’ve treated you all these years? You’re injured. I have to deal with the aftermath quickly," the manager said nervously when he heard how direct Miranda was.

"Clean up the mess? After what? The fans have surrounded President Owen’s company. The hospital is filled with fans now. You haven’t appeared yet, but you’re telling me that you’re cleaning up the mess. Do you think I’m a fool?" Miranda said to her manager on the other end of the line in an unpleasant tone.

"Miranda, what are you talking about? I have so many things to deal with every day. I can’t keep an eye on you all the time. Besides, you were injured while filming at Owen’s company. It’s normal for fans to be concerned about you after they find out about the situation."

"You tell me this is normal? Don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to. Let me tell you, do you think you can do whatever you want now that I’m in the hospital? Or are you done being my manager and want to change artists?" Miranda snorted.

"Miranda, don’t be so harsh. After all, we’ve been together for so many years. Don’t you know how I treat you? Isn’t it for your own good that I didn’t let you come out and make a statement?" Since Miranda was so polite, the manager’s tone immediately became unpleasant.

"Besides, there are discussions online about you and President Owen. They’re all saying that you were hurt by Anita. Don’t I just want to help you get publicity?" Hearing that Miranda meant to part ways with him, the manager said anxiously.

"Anita? What does my injury have to do with Miss Anita?" Miranda thought that it was only about fans, but she didn’t expect Anita to be involved.

Moreover, from what her manager said, the matter should be quite serious now.
