"Bruce, I have to go first. Call me if anything happens," Owen said with a smile as he patted Bruce on the shoulder.

Bruce was stunned by Owen. He didn’t know what to say. He just looked up at his watch first. It was less than six in the morning.

He knocked on his watch and felt that it might be broken. Otherwise, how could his CEO get off work so early? He was a famous workaholic.

Then, he started to wonder if it was really because of Miss Anita. "Then wouldn’t our happiness come in the future? Can we really work less overtime?" Bruce thought.

"What are you thinking about, Bruce? I have to go," Owen said with a smile while glancing at Bruce again.

"Yes, President, you... Then be careful. No, I hope you and Miss Anita have a good dinner," Bruce did not know what to say and stuttered.

"Okay, I know what you mean. Get busy. I have to go." Owen didn’t care what Bruce said, because he was in a good mood.

He was standing in the elevator tidying up his clothes, and after taking the key, he went down to the underground parking lot. After he got into the car, he picked up his phone to look at the message Anita had just sent. "I’m in the residential city beside school. Call me when you get there. I’ll wait for you at the door."

Owen read the message and tidied up his appearance before starting the car and driving out.

Owen drove a little faster. The fast-paced music in the car was the same as his mood. He was excited and excited. He suddenly felt like a young man on his first date.

"Owen, I’m here." Anita arrived at the entrance of the residence early because she was afraid that Owen was unfamiliar with the road conditions here and would waste time looking around, so she waited at the door.

Owen didn’t expect to see Anita waving just as he stopped the car, so he quickly opened the car door and went up to her. "You’ve been waiting a long time, haven’t you? I’m sorry."

"It’s okay. I didn’t wait long," Anita said with a smile.

"Didn’t I tell you not to wait for me at the door? You can come out when I get there," Owen said with a smile as he took the bag from Anita’s hand very naturally.

"Isn’t it the same for me to wait for you?" Anita said while glancing at Owen.

Owen didn’t say anything else as he listened to Anita. He felt a sweet sensation in his heart. She made it sound like the two of them really were husband and wife.

When they got into the car and buckled up, Anita glanced at Owen and asked, "Where are we going to eat tonight? Why don’t we go home and eat? I’ll cook for you."

"No thanks. We’ll go out for dinner tonight. I told Bruce to book a table," Owen said with a smile.

"Okay then." Anita said nothing more.

Their relationship seemed to have improved a lot since last night. At the very least, the two of them wouldn’t feel awkward sitting in the car and listening to the music without saying anything. Instead, they felt very comfortable.

Unknowingly, the car drove to Xiyue Restaurant.

Owen entered the parking lot and parked the car first before walking with Anita to the dining room.

"Hello, do you have a reservation?" the waiter at the door asked politely.

"It’s been reserved. Bruce reserved it," Owen said.

"Okay, you’re Mr. Owen, right? Your old seat is reserved. Come with me." The waiter looked at Anita first and smiled.

Owen nodded without another word and pulled Anita into the dining room.

They followed the waiter inside. Owen had actually been here many times and was familiar with it, but when they reached the seat they had reserved for tonight, he suddenly felt that it was unfamiliar.

There were flowers and candles on the table.

"Owen, what does this mean?" Anita asked first in surprise while glancing at the decor of the dining room table.

Owen glanced at the waiter. The waiter said nothing and just looked at him and smiled.

He suddenly realized that this was probably Bruce’s secret arrangement because he knew that he was going to eat with Anita tonight, but he didn’t dare to tell Anita.

"Anita, nothing. I just wanted the two of us to have a good meal," Owen said with a smile when he realized what was going on.

The waiter didn’t know what was on their minds. He just did his job. He pulled out the stool first and let the two of them sit in their seats.

Then, she said, "Mr. Owen, are the dishes still the same as before?"

"Yes, the usual," Owen said, then looked at Anita and asked, "Do you have anything you don’t like? I often come to this restaurant, and many of the signature dishes taste good. You can give them a try."

Anita smiled at Owen’s words. "This is the first time I’ve been here, so I don’t know much. I’ll listen to you."

"Okay, give me the usual dishes. Open the same bottle of red wine I ordered last time," Owen said to the waiter.
