"I really don’t know." Mei Niang looked at Lin Mu, trying to resist a little longer. After all, this matter was very important. "Trying to play mind games? You’re not quite there yet." Lin Mu sneered quietly, then put away his dagger. "Speak up. Tell me everything you know about the DNA-catalyzing enzyme, including the ways Jinye obtained those enzymes and the locations where you store them. You must tell me everything. If I’m satisfied, maybe I’ll let you go. But if you try any tricks and upset me, or I hear anything fishy, I’ll slash your pretty face without hesitation. Do you understand?"

Mei Niang nodded, "I understand."

"Alright, let’s hear it." Lin Mu sat back down.

"That batch of DNA-catalyzing enzyme from Jinye was obtained from the East Japan Corporation. We’ve always had connections with them. Through their samples, we’ve now figured out the enzyme’s formula. Currently, they’re in a chemical factory in the suburbs. Those enzymes are just the ordinary type. There’s a stronger, improved variety, but we’re still negotiating and haven’t gotten it yet. That’s the situation." Mei Niang confessed truthfully, without any reservations.

"Are you saying the enzymes you’re using now are just the ordinary type, and there’s an improved type?" Lin Mu asked Mei Niang.

Mei Niang nodded, "Correct. Our goal is to join forces with the Corporation to dominate the entire Huaxia underground world. Yet, the power from ordinary enzymes isn’t enough, and there are side effects. So under these circumstances, we’ve already been discussing the improved enzymes with the Corporation."

After listening, Lin Mu felt a sudden headache. Damn, if the ordinary type is so powerful, then wouldn’t the improved type be invincible?

Lin Mu thought for a moment, then looked at Mei Niang, "There’s one more thing I need your help with."

Mei Niang glanced at Lin Mu, asking cautiously, "What is it?"

"Take me to your chemical factory. I want to see what’s going on there." Lin Mu said with a smile.
