Chapter 1128: Chapter 1143: Arrested by the Police

Just as he was momentarily distracted, Gray Wolf delivered a sweeping kick, and Uro Iji couldn’t dodge in time. He got kicked hard in the back of his knee, almost breaking the bone.

"Ah..." Jiuyu Lang let out a horrible scream, lunging forward and falling to the ground.

Gray Wolf braced himself with his hand on the ground, springing back up in a flash, and kicked Uro Iji’s ribs again. His body flew more than five meters like a ball. Meanwhile, Jinye couldn’t withstand Golden Wolf’s fierce assault, taking a direct hit from a straight punch that sent him flying three meters away.

"Since you guys came here to die, I won’t be courteous." Lin Mu said with a grin.

Looks like Lin Mu doesn’t plan to let Jinye and Uro Iji off tonight. Jinye slowly got up from the ground, glaring at Lin Mu with fiery eyes, "Lin Mu, don’t get cocky. This is Zhengzhou, it’s my territory. What can you do to me?"

"Damn, so what if it’s your territory?" Lin Mu dodged, and in the next second appeared right in front of Jinye, slapping Jinye across the face. "See that? I hit you anyway!"

"Puh..." Jinye spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, with two blood-stained teeth mixed in.

Just then, two police cars pulled up beside Lin Mu, and several officers quickly got out, holding guns. "Don’t move, don’t move."

Seeing the officers, all from Chief Liu Dacheng’s team, aka his own men, Jinye couldn’t help but feel delighted.

Liu Dacheng holstered his gun, glanced at Lin Mu, then at Jinye, "Boss Jin, are you alright?"

"I’m fine." Jinye wiped the blood from his mouth corner, then pointed at Lin Mu, "Officer Liu, you came just in time. I want to accuse him of attempted murder. Everything here can be used as evidence."

"Boss Jin, rest assured, I’ll handle this by the book." Liu Dacheng said to Jinye, then turned around, with his face turning serious immediately. "Let’s go, to the station for questioning."

Lin Mu looked at Liu Dacheng, smiling and spreading his hands, "Officer Liu, right? If your eyes are working fine, you should see the situation. Look at these guys lying around, they’re all Jinye’s men, right? They were attacking me, I was just defending myself."

Liu Dacheng glanced at Lin Mu, clearly displeased with Lin Mu’s casual demeanor, "The police will handle this by the book, but please watch your language."

"Bullshit!" Gray Wolf next to him flared up, "Anybody can see they brought a truckload of men to provoke us, we only have three people here, clearly the attacked side!" Gray Wolf furiously shouted at Liu Dacheng, "Hey, you fool, don’t think you’re all that just because you’re wearing a Humen uniform. Watch it, kid, be polite to our boss. If you piss us off, we can kill you as easily as squashing an ant."

Liu Dacheng turned and looked at Gray Wolf, "Kill me? Fine, now you have additional charges—threatening and attacking an officer. Let’s go, come with us to the station for investigation!"

"Oh, is it a threat? Fine, let’s make it more real." Gray Wolf chuckled, flashed over, and slapped Liu Dacheng square on his fat face before he could dodge.

The next second, five red finger marks appeared on Liu Dacheng’s left cheek.

"You’re hitting me?" Liu Dacheng was clearly enraged. In Zhengzhou, in this place, no one dared treat him, Chief Liu, like this. This punk actually dared to hit him, unthinkable.

"What if I hit you? Not only will I hit you, I’ll mess you up." Gray Wolf said, then slapped Liu Dacheng on the other side of his face.

"You..." Liu Dacheng glared at Gray Wolf, clutching his face, pulling out his gun.

"Heh heh, now it looks symmetrical. Yep, much better now." Gray Wolf chuckled and said.

Liu Dacheng glared at Gray Wolf, pulling out his gun from his coat, "You believe I’ll just shoot you dead?"

Gray Wolf, unfazed, spread his hands, not threatened by Liu Dacheng’s gun, "Well, I really doubt that, at most it’s assaulting an officer. If you kill me, then you’ll have to pay for it with your life."

"You..." Liu Dacheng was getting frustrated, finding it hard to deal with someone like this. As the saying goes, one without shoes doesn’t fear those with. This guy looked like a street punk; even if he was charged with assaulting an officer and detained for a few days, it wasn’t a big deal. Such people aren’t afraid of anything, but he was different. He was a distinguished chief; he couldn’t afford to lose this golden ticket!

"Heh, go ahead, shoot, if you have the guts!" Gray Wolf pointed at his own forehead, "Better kill me with one shot, I’m very afraid of pain, you know!"

Liu Dacheng nodded angrily, "Fine, take them away."

"Hmm, going to the station could be fun too." Lin Mu smirked and said from the side.

Soon, a few officers ran over, trying to hold down Gray Wolf and the others, but Gray Wolf easily shrugged them off.

"No need to hold me, if I wanted to run, you think you guys could stop me?" Gray Wolf said.

"Fine, we’ll go with you, stop wasting time." Lin Mu said, then sat in the police car like it was his own.

Jinye glanced at Lin Mu getting into the police car, snorted, then told Liu Dacheng, "Officer Liu, I’m leaving this to you, you get what I mean?"

"Understood, don’t worry, Boss Jin, this isn’t the first time for this kind of thing. In Zhengzhou, this place, getting rid of these three is no problem." Liu Dacheng replied with a smile.

"Hmm, be careful though, those three are quite formidable." Jinye reminded.

"Heh, don’t worry, Boss Jin, no matter how tough or fierce they are, if they resist, we can finish them off in minutes. Going against law is a death wish!" Liu Dacheng laughed.

"Alright, Officer Liu, I’ll leave it to you. Once it’s done, I’ll treat you to drinks and thank you properly." Jinye said, patting Liu Dacheng’s shoulder.

"Boss Jin, just wait for the good news." Liu Dacheng laughed, then got into the car.

The police cars quickly drove out of the hotel plaza, and ten minutes later, they brought Lin Mu and the others into the Zhengzhou Erqi District Public Security Bureau compound.
