However, the usually fiery-tempered Man Luo, for some reason today, just glared at Lin Mu and didn’t say more, continuing to eat.

"Since it’s you, I need you to come with me to the precinct." Zhou Jiande nodded and said, without answering Lin Mu’s question directly.

Lin Mu looked up at Zhou Jiande, slightly dismissive, "You ask me to go with you, so I have to go? Wouldn’t that be quite embarrassing for me?"

Zhou Jiande looked at Lin Mu, not angered by his words, but calmly said, "Cooperating with police investigations is every citizen’s duty, so you’re obliged to come with us to investigate the case."

Lin Mu shrugged, casually took out a cigarette, then said, "If you’re here about Liu Dacheng getting beaten, then I don’t need to go with you. If it’s about something else, I might consider."

"Then don’t blame us for using force." Zhou Jiande said, signaling to the two officers behind him.

The two officers understanding Zhou Jiande’s intention, moved forward a step.
