Chapter 2011: Chapter 2008: The Master of Heaven’s Gate’s Schemes

"Capture them all? Such arrogance!" Ximen Tian’s face turned grim: "Men, seize Yun Bufan for me. If there is any resistance, kill without hesitation!"

As soon as he spoke, dozens of masters at the Later Stage of the Firmament Realm charged at Yun Bufan. Yun Bufan was currently in a period of weakened strength, and in the eyes of Ximen Family’s masters, he was nothing more than meat on a chopping block.

But at this moment, Yun Bufan suddenly revealed a cold smile: "I knew you would do this; you’ve been deceived!"

Under everyone’s astonished gazes, Yun Bufan suddenly exploded, flesh and blood flying in the air, and a familiar figure appeared before Ling Feng.

"So it’s really you, Mad Doctor, Master of Heaven’s Gate!" Ling Feng gritted his teeth, secretly musing.

Simultaneously, Ling Feng understood why Yun Bufan was able to summon the Chaos Beast—it was because Mad Doctor was residing within Yun Bufan all along, and Yun Bufan was merely a vessel for Mad Doctor.

Yet a trace of doubt emerged in Ling Feng’s mind. With Mad Doctor’s power, why go to such lengths? There must be some plot involved.

"Who are you!" Ximen Tian looked at Mad Doctor, unable to resist asking. Although Mad Doctor had appeared a few times, Ximen Tian had never seen him before and thus did not recognize him.

"Haven’t you always wanted to meet me?" Mad Doctor said with a sly smile, then looked towards Ling Feng: "Ling Feng, aren’t you going to introduce me to everyone?"

The Sect Master of Storm Sect beside Ling Feng looked at him: "Sect Master Ling, do you know this person?"

Ling Feng’s face was somewhat troubled: "This person is none other than the Master of Heaven’s Gate!"

"Master of Heaven’s Gate?" Upon hearing Ling Feng’s words, Ximen Tian and Storm Sect Master changed their expressions, then quickly became elated: "It’s truly a case of searching high and low only to find it effortlessly. Master of Heaven’s Gate, you have unexpectedly come knocking, then today this place shall be your burial ground!"

Storm Sect Master and Ximen Tian were already determined to keep the Master of Heaven’s Gate here. As long as they killed him, the threat of Heaven’s Gate would naturally be lifted!

But Ling Feng shook his head; he knew Mad Doctor now was already the Artifact Spirit of the Tooth of Greed, and he couldn’t be killed! At least Ling Feng hadn’t found a way to kill Mad Doctor yet.

Facing the numerous masters rushing at him, Mad Doctor did not flee, but instead wore a confident smile: "Ximen Tian, Storm Sect Master, do you truly think I’m here to die? Since I’m here, I naturally have every confidence in leaving here."

Storm Sect Master stepped forward and sneered: "Master of Heaven’s Gate, I don’t know what you’re planning, but this is our turf. The entire Fiery Cloud Star is filled with our people; no matter how powerful you are, you can’t escape!"

Ximen Tian also nodded; their confidence came from their strength. The Ximen Family and Storm Sect had encircled Fiery Cloud Star thoroughly, surrounded by their masters, and except for an Immortal Realm master, no one could escape.

Mad Doctor chuckled: "I naturally know this place is full of your people, and I am even more aware that the entire Fiery Cloud Star is webbed within the Heavenly Net. Perhaps this is the source of your confidence?"

Ximen Tian and Storm Sect Master twitched slightly. Since he knew all this, why was the Master of Heaven’s Gate so calm? Wasn’t he at all worried? Or was it that... he truly possessed the power to reverse the situation?

Over the past few days, I’ve secretly dismantled all formations on Fiery Cloud Star and set up others secretly, so now you are the ones trapped; unless you kill me, dreaming of leaving is futile!"

Ximen Tian’s heart sank; he quickly ordered the surrounding masters to organize a breakout. But soon, those masters returned with grave expressions, shaking their heads at Ximen Tian.

Mad Doctor laughed triumphantly: "No need to waste effort. The Formation Eye sealing the entire Fiery Cloud Star is me. Besides me, no one can break this formation."

"I know the purpose of your Martial Arts Conference is to confront my Heaven’s Gate, right? Now that I’m right before you, this is a rare opportunity!" Mad Doctor chuckled wickedly: "Kill me, and your Ximen Family and Storm Sect may become a superpower ruling the Ancient Ruins; if you lose..."

"Then you’ll wholly become nourishment for me to ascend to a stronger realm!" Mad Doctor laughed heartily.

The crowd might not be aware, but Ling Feng was very clear: Mad Doctor was now one with the Tooth of Greed; the might of the Ancient Ruins couldn’t destroy such a Chaos Supreme Treasure!

The only outcome was that everyone here would become nourishment for the Tooth of Greed!
