Chapter 50: Savior Loves Taking Advantage II

’I should learn fireball just in case...’ he thought as he pulled out a bit of his custom gunpowder from his dungeon along with a piece of flint and steel. He sprinkled it over the wood and soon, a spark hit the powder. A bright flash ignited the wood instantly.

He placed the copper pot over the flames and poured water inside directly from his dungeon.

He crushed the common herbs with a rock until they turned into a clump of brown paste. He scraped the paste into the boiling water before he took the expensive white Moon Flower and tossed it in whole.

He kept adding water as the mixture boiled down. He repeated the process over and over until the water turned into a thick sludgy soup.

He poured the soup through a clean cotton cloth into a wooden bowl and dumped the strained solid paste back into the copper pot and added more water.

As for the liquid in the wooden bowl, it was transferred into large clear glass bottle and placed inside the dungeon.

"Now, I need a special oil." he thought as he left the fire burning and walked back to the Adventurer Guild. It was late but Adventurer Guilds had a strict rule of never closing.

"Do you have any fresh Red Horned Boar carcasses?" Adrian asked the night clerk.

"Yeah someone dropped off ten of them a few hours ago," the clerk yawned. "They are sitting in the freezer room."

"I will buy one."

The clerk charged him exactly one silver coin.

Monster meat was toxic. Normal animals were safe to eat but eating a monster would rot a human from the inside out. Some monster parts sold for crazy high prices because alchemists needed them, but the Red Horned Boar was utterly useless.

The meat was too tough and toxic, and the only valuable part was the tusk. The rest of the body was basically sold as cheap fertilizer. One silver was dirt cheap for an entire carcass as it was considered as literal trash.

Adrian walked into the freezer room. He put one hand on the massive boar carcass and touched the silver spatial earring with his other hand.

He did not put the boar in the earring. He used his dungeon link to send it into the dungeon, but to the people watching, it looked like he had just stored the carcass in the earring.

He walked back out to his campfire and sat down in front of it. He then used dungeon link and got the system to separate the carcass into meat, bones, fur, organs, and fat.

The boar was muscular so the fat yield was low. But that didn’t matter to him since now that the dungeon had a record of the fat, he could duplicate it.

’System produce one kilogram of boar fat and render it into liquid tallow.’

A large block of fat appeared in the dungeon and instantly melted down into clear hot oil.

Adrian pulled the hot tallow from the dungeon and poured it directly into his copper pot. He then grabbed a thick stick and started stirring. He tried to mash the chunks down but his arms got tired quickly.

’Why am I doing this manually.’ Adrian thought.

He used dungeon link and sent the entire pot into the dungeon before he commanded the system to perfectly blend and compress the mixture. The dungeon magic instantly crushed the herbs and tallow into a flawless, smooth oily paste.

Adrian pulled the pot back out. He let it simmer over the fire for six more hours as he added a bit more tallow.

By the time the sun started coming up, the mixture was done. It was an extremely thick dark paste. He dumped the paste into a glass jar and shoved it into the dungeon storage along with the bottle of liquid medicine.

Both had different uses, but he only needed the liquid right now. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

Adrian walked back to the inn looking like a sleep deprived maniac. He crashed into his bed and slept until nine at night.

He woke up, splashed water on his face, grabbed a small vial of liquid medicine and walked back into the city.

He headed for the main commercial market, and soon, he found a potion shop. It was not ruined but it was not fancy either. Regular glass vials were placed neatly on the wooden shelves.

A woman stood behind the counter. She was extremely tall, almost six feet, just a few inches shorter than Adrian.

She was gorgeous but not in a cute or innocent way. She had sharp fierce features, a total femme fatale. But behind that perfect face and a flawless body, was a desperate sister. Her nineteen year old brother was dying thanks to the Green Blood Disease.

Adrian walked up to the counter.

"I am Baron Adrian Sterling," Adrian introduced himself. "I want to hire you."

The woman raised an eyebrow. "I already run my own shop, my lord."

"I will pay you triple what you make here," Adrian said. "And as a signing bonus I will grant you one wish. Anything you want, even if you want me to cure an incurable disease."

The woman completely froze, but her eyes locked onto him. The people here knew about her situation so she didn’t question him on how he found out. But, there was an still an issue. Even the best doctors and herbologists weren’t able to find a cure for the green blood disease.

She thought it was a scam. Desperate people were always targeted by scammers, but she was out of options. The doctors said her brother only had two to three more years to live.

On top of that, there was one thing that made her inclined to putting a little bit of trust in him. It was the fact that he was a noble. The ones who tried to scam her in the past, were random people. Why would a noble need to scam a woman who didn’t really have much to her name?

"If you can cure my brother," she whispered her voice shaking. "I will work for you forever, I will marry you and I will become your concubine. Anything you want, I’ll do it."
