The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories
Chapter 1112 - 1132: So Dumb It’s Adorable
Qi Yue made a funny face at the mirror, then wiggled her hips.
Tang Yan’s face was full of exasperation; as the curtain was drawn again, he couldn’t help but shake his head and smile.
This woman, she’s truly adorably silly to the point of being cute.
Absolutely charming.
Tang Yan shook his head, and suddenly, a cold wind blew in. He crossed his arms and felt a chill, quickly rushing towards the villa.
Qi Yue finished tidying up and came out of the bathroom, ready to go to bed.
But she noticed the light in the downstairs living room was still on.
Hadn’t Tang Yan gone to bed yet?
Right, she just needed to talk to him about leaving tomorrow.
She went to his bedroom to look but found no one there.
The study was empty too.
So, she went downstairs.
"Tang Yan?"
As Qi Yue descended, she called out his name.
The carpeting on the stairs was white and fluffy.
The entire living room had a dreamlike quality.
Qi Yue looked around, then her gaze fell on the sofa in the living room.
"Hmm..." A low groan sounded.
Startled, Qi Yue hurried forward.
She saw Tang Yan lying on the sofa, hugging himself, eyes closed, looking very uncomfortable.
Qi Yue’s expression changed.
"What’s wrong? Tang Yan?"
"N-nothing..." He opened one eye to glance at her: "You should go to sleep, don’t worry about me." As he spoke, he couldn’t help but sneeze.
Qi Yue quickly stepped forward, reached out her hand, and placed it on his forehead.
"Oh my, you’re burning up with a fever!"
Qi Yue exclaimed urgently, "How did you get a fever? Do we have any fever medicine at home?"
Tang Yan shook his head: "I never take medicine..."
Qi Yue hurriedly tried to pull him up: "Let me take you to the hospital! You can’t just stay like this!"
Tang Yan felt as though his whole body was filled with lead, unbearably hot and completely lacking strength.
Being pregnant, Qi Yue couldn’t move him at all.
Helpless, she ran to the kitchen, took some ice from the fridge, and wrapped it in a towel.
Then she walked back and placed the homemade ice pack on his forehead.
"Hang in there for a bit, I’ll go buy you some medicine right away."
"I don’t need it... I’ll be fine, just need a little rest." Touching the cool ice pack, Tang Yan felt a lot more comfortable.
"You can’t just wait it out," Qi Yue replied, shaking her head helplessly. She got up, changed in the bedroom, and quickly left.
Half an hour later, the villa door opened, and Qi Yue came in carrying a bag of medicine.
Tang Yan seemed to have fallen asleep.
Qi Yue reached out to feel his forehead, finding it not as hot as before.
But he still needed to take the fever medicine.
Qi Yue prepared the medicine, sat in front of the sofa, and patted his shoulder: "Tang Yan, wake up, I brought you the medicine."
Tang Yan, in a drowsy state, was awakened by the patting and slowly opened his eyes.
Through the blur, he saw the pure face of the girl sitting in front of him.
She was gently saying something.
Tang Yan couldn’t help but reach out and grab Qi Yue’s hand.
"Xintong, don’t leave me... don’t leave me! Please..."
Qi Yue froze.
She looked at Tang Yan: "Tang Yan, you... you have the wrong person, I’m not..."
"No... Xintong!" Tang Yan said, suddenly pulling her into his embrace.
"Promise me, no matter what happens, don’t leave again, okay?"
The man held her tightly; Qi Yue’s hand, still holding a glass of water, was awkwardly frozen in place, and she was completely at a loss.
