Top-Tier Female, All Beastmen Want Her
Chapter 202: He’s Here
Jiang Zheyu took the initiative, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him.
Si Yu froze for a moment, then returned the kiss, unable to restrain himself.
’Damn it, how did I surrender so easily?’
’I had wanted to make her suffer a bit more, to teach her a lesson.’
The ground was ice-cold, but their bodies were scalding hot.
A few crisp sounds echoed.
...
"This is a Biorobot’s body. Why didn’t you come here in your real one?" Jiang Zheyu felt more sweat on her forehead than before. Her lips were split and swollen. She asked the question under her breath.
Although she already knew why, she still asked deliberately.
’He probably knew about my incredibly strong spiritual power, so he didn’t dare come in his real body. What if I controlled it? Then all the effort Si Yu went through to capture me would be for nothing.’
"There’s no difference," Si Yu said coolly, his dark green eyes filled with desire. "Or has Yu Yu found a difference?"
"No, I was just asking." He was playing dumb, so Jiang Zheyu played dumb too.
"Yu Yu is quite formidable now," Si Yu’s voice was extremely low and hoarse. "Such powerful spiritual power... even I can’t resist it."
’That’s why he won’t bring his real body here. If he did, his Yu Yu would just run away again.’
Jiang Zheyu understood. ’He still doesn’t trust me; he still thinks I’ll run away. His intuition isn’t wrong, though.’ 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
’If Si Yu had come in his real body today, I would’ve controlled him without a second thought, used him to get out of here, and returned to the research base.’
Since Si Yu wasn’t calling her out on it, Jiang Zheyu certainly wasn’t going to bring it up either. Otherwise, they might have to drop all pretenses.
Jiang Zheyu’s brows, flushed a vivid red, knitted together abruptly.
"Is it different from the real thing?" Si Yu asked in a low, haunting voice.
Jiang Zheyu’s face burned red.
"Is there a difference like this?"
"How about this?"
"Do you like it?"
...
Jiang Zheyu was finally free.
’After it was over,’ Jiang Zheyu thought, ’after all that, I should have placated him enough for him to let me leave.’
Who would have thought that Si Yu would just carry her to the bed, tuck her in, and not say a single word about letting her go.
’So infuriating. But I can’t show it.’
"Si Yu, I don’t feel well," Jiang Zheyu said quietly. "Can you let me leave? I don’t like this room."
Si Yu just lowered his gaze slightly and said nothing.
His silence said it all, making his attitude clear: he would not let Jiang Zheyu leave this room.
’So was all that placating for nothing? This guy is completely impervious.’
’But it’s fine, I guess? As long as I don’t get hurt any more, just lying in bed is okay.’
Still, Jiang Zheyu couldn’t help but feel a little sad.
...
"From now on, you’ll live here," Si Yu said, stroking her head. "I’ll come see you every day."
’So he’s just afraid I’ll run away, and that’s why he’s making me stay in this room.’
Jiang Zheyu wanted to say more, but Si Yu had already gotten up, left, and closed the door.
’Could he at least turn on a light? If not a light, then maybe let me watch TV, a movie, or something?’
All the words Jiang Zheyu wanted to say were stuck in her throat.
Before she could get the words out, the door was already shut, and the surroundings were plunged into darkness.
Jiang Zheyu felt blind for a moment; everything was pitch-black.
She couldn’t see a single speck of light.
Fortunately, Jiang Zheyu wasn’t claustrophobic, so it didn’t bother her much.
Lying on the bed, Jiang Zheyu decided, ’I’ll just rest for now and look for a chance to escape later.’
’Sigh.’
But she couldn’t sleep, so Jiang Zheyu had the system play a cartoon for her.
’Since Si Yu left so quickly without letting me watch a cartoon, I still have the system. The system can play a cartoon for me.’
So, Jiang Zheyu started watching the cartoon to pass the time.
The surroundings were dark and quiet, but Jiang Zheyu didn’t really feel anything, focusing intently on the cartoon.
As she watched, she grew drowsy and eventually drifted off to sleep.
Something startled her awake. She shot up, and just as she was about to call out, a hand clamped over her mouth and another grabbed her wrist.
A cold, harsh voice sounded by her ear, "It’s me."
It wasn’t Shan Xun’s voice that stopped the scream from escaping her lips. It was the familiar feel of the hand gripping her wrist; that’s what stopped her first.
Jiang Zheyu was astonished, her heart beginning to pound.
’So fast! He came so fast! It feels like I only just fell asleep, and Shan Xun is already here. That was incredibly fast.’
Jiang Zheyu had already lost hope in the Imperial Army, thinking they probably wouldn’t be able to find her. She had planned to just lie low for a few days and then figure out how to escape on her own.
She never expected Shan Xun to come so quickly. It was a pleasant surprise.
"Captain Shan, you came so fast!" In the darkness, Jiang Zheyu’s eyes shone brightly.
Others might not have been able to see it, but Shan Xun’s vision was excellent in the dark, so he clearly saw Jiang Zheyu’s sparkling eyes.
He paused for a moment before looking away. ’I shouldn’t have lost control of my emotions last time just because of a few things the female said. It threw my thoughts into chaos, and I failed to keep up with the female, to stay by her side. That’s what allowed the Star Thieves to find an opening and capture her.’
’That was a major failure on my mission. I absolutely cannot allow something like that to happen again.’
Shan Xun didn’t speak, silently helping Jiang Zheyu free herself from her restraints.
The restraints didn’t cause Jiang Zheyu any discomfort.
Shan Xun had controlled his strength, so Jiang Zheyu only felt a slight vibration at her wrist, with no discomfort at all.
"I’ll get the rest of these off once we’re out of here," Shan Xun said as he hoisted Jiang Zheyu onto his back. "Hold on tight!"
"Okay," Jiang Zheyu quickly replied.
Jiang Zheyu fumbled as she climbed onto Shan Xun’s back, then clung to him like an octopus with all four limbs.
Soon, Shan Xun charged out with Jiang Zheyu on his back.
Only then did Jiang Zheyu realize this was a Starship. All the sensors and surveillance systems seemed to have been destroyed, which was why no alarms had sounded.
’I don’t know how Shan Xun managed it.’
Meanwhile, Si Yu had just finished dealing with some company matters. He took a moment to check the surveillance feed, only to find it completely dark. He instantly realized what had happened. His expression turned cold as he immediately ordered, "Close all hatches! Go to Sector A of the Starship and capture Shan Xun!"
