Lu Changsheng nodded—though he did not know any of those disciples—then made his way toward the True Inheritor Hall. Being the core of the sect, it was the grandest hall they had. It had always been shrouded in secrecy, and even the affairs of true inheritor disciples were closely guarded. As such, many members of the sect knew very little about the True Inheritor Hall.

When Lu Changsheng arrived, he was rather taken aback by how empty the hall was. There was not a single disciple in sight. There was only one elder inside, his eyes closed as though deep in meditation.

"Elder, I have just become a true inheritor disciple. Would you please check my identity token?"

The elder opened his eyes. "Hmm? True inheritor, you say?"

Becoming a true inheritor was rather difficult, and very few actually managed it. However, when the elder laid eyes on Lu Changsheng, his face froze.

"Y-You are Lu Changsheng, the one who clashed with that Divine Treasury martial artist?"

"Yes."

By this point, Lu Changsheng was no longer surprised by such reactions. He had come to understand how much influence his name carried.
