 Ray looked like he wanted to argue more, but he nodded. "I will be waiting for you in our dorm." He said before he turned and headed back the way we came.

 Most times, we don't get to see the Alpha students aside from whenever we have communal assemblies.
 But even at that, I've made sure not to have a run-in with Storm.
 From my knowledge of the book, I was aware that the next meeting between Brys and Storm will be next week. That was why I agreed to go on a trip with Ray that said week. This way, I will get to circumvent the punishment.
