Transmigrated as the Villain Boss's Precious Darling
Chapter 255: Mighty Daddy
"Felix... You’ve beaten us, you’ve had your revenge. Please, let my wife go!"
Sherman Golding pleaded pitifully. He didn’t dare go over to save her. He couldn’t win a fight against Phoebe Huxley, so it would be useless to try. It was better to just humble himself and beg for mercy.
"That’s enough!" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Felix Thorne barked at Phoebe Huxley.
Phoebe Huxley slapped her one more time before letting go. Mandy York stumbled over to Sherman Golding, her hair a mess. Her face was covered in tears, snot, and blood, making her look like a ghost.
Sherman Golding breathed a sigh of relief now that they had finally let her go. He scrambled to pick up his hoe and carrying pole. Today had been a total loss. He hadn’t earned any work points, hadn’t managed to plant any beans, and had taken a vicious beating on top of it all!
"I’m not done yet. Bowman slapped my little girl’s face until it was swollen. Do you know, I’ve never so much as laid a finger on her as long as she’s lived? Some son you’ve got there!"
Felix Thorne stared darkly at Bowman Golding. This score wasn’t settled yet.
A chill ran down Bowman Golding’s spine, and his legs trembled. He truly regretted what he’d done, but time couldn’t be reversed, and regret was useless. The way Felix Thorne looked at him made him feel like a pig on the way to the slaughterhouse, a cold draft on the back of his neck.
Tang Xiaonan was scared too. She was afraid this would end in someone’s death. Her dad looked just like he did when he butchered pigs. ’If he kills someone over a single slap, wouldn’t that make me a jinx to my own dad?’
"Dad..."
Tang Xiaonan called out, wanting to stop Felix Thorne. Beating the Golding family into such a sorry state was enough; there was no need to actually kill anyone.
"Daddy’s getting revenge for you!"
Felix Thorne forced a smile. Before Tang Xiaonan could react, Bowman Golding let out a bloodcurdling scream, loud enough to be heard all over Millstone Peak. Tang Xiaonan’s heart plummeted. Her first thought wasn’t to flee, but to figure out how to silence the witnesses and bury the body. ’Millstone Peak is so big. If we dig the hole deep enough, no one should be able to find it, right?’
But she quickly breathed a sigh of relief. There would be no need for silencing witnesses after all. Bowman Golding was still alive, just not doing too well.
"AHH... My arm’s broken... Mom... My arm’s broken..."
Bowman Golding was bent over and screaming, his head covered in sweat. His left arm dangled at an unnatural angle, looking as if it were broken.
"Felix, don’t take it too far! Beating our family into this state is one thing, but now you’ve broken Bowman’s arm. Are you trying to wipe us out completely?" Sherman Golding’s face darkened. He had already backed down, but Felix Thorne kept pushing it, showing no respect for the Golding family whatsoever.
"If I really wanted to wipe you out, your whole family would be dead. One slice for each of you, then I’d dig a hole and bury you. Believe it or not?" Felix Thorne let out an abrupt laugh. The color drained from Sherman Golding’s face, and he instinctively took a few steps back, cold sweat beading on his forehead.
He believed him.
He really did.
’Felix Thorne could slaughter pigs weighing hundreds of pounds without breaking a sweat. What’s killing a person to a man like that? His whole family of four wouldn’t be enough to keep this monster busy!’
"Felix... I... I was wrong... Have you had your fill of revenge? If not... how about... how about you break his other arm, too?"
To save his own skin, Sherman Golding didn’t hesitate to sacrifice his eldest son, proactively shoving Bowman Golding in front of Felix Thorne.
"Get lost!"
Felix Thorne barked in disgust. As if granted a royal pardon, Sherman Golding dragged his son and fled. Mandy York staggered along behind them, not even stopping to gather their things.
Tang Xiaonan blinked. ’He really is the fiend whose notorious reputation spreads for miles,’ she thought. ’Dad is so formidable. No wonder I could get away with courting disaster so often in the past and still come out unscathed.’
Felix Thorne picked up his daughter. Seeing her fair, delicate face swollen so badly, he was filled with regret once more. ’I shouldn’t have held back,’ he thought. ’I should have dislocated Bowman’s other arm, too.’
