Transmigrated into Another Apocalyptic World (BL)
Chapter 560 - 559: Fighting snakes and plants 5
The purple plant obviously had a high ability to poison things; that’s why its ability to protect itself is already very high, so it doesn’t need to have a tougher body at all.
He quickly cut all the smaller purple plants and vines that were obstructing him along the way and quickly arrived near the body of the purple plant.
He quickly ran to cut the purple plant many times, even though it was trying to run away, because he felt that he was getting sluggish faster compared to when he was still far from the purple plant.
After he managed to cut the main body of the purple plant into many pieces, he also wrapped them with the vines that he had many times, as he wasn’t sure if it would continue emitting such a poisonous substance even if it was already dealt with.
While he dealt with the main body of the purple plant, Treyton also dealt with the main body of the vines.
Treyton trapped the main body with metal so that it wouldn’t manage to run away and keep outpouring vines, and then quickly dealt with it with a huge amount of lightning.
He and Treyton managed to deal with the plants as fast as they could with almost the same speed; however, he was closer to the main body of the purple plant, so after they finished fighting, he could see that he was moving slower than Treyton.
But Treyton was also certainly affected, as he wasn’t moving as fast as before. Since both of them were still affected even though they were already wearing a gas mask, it’s already certain that the poison could still enter through their skin as their condition still worsened even though they didn’t inhale anything further.
Even though they had finished dealing with the plants, he and Treyton still quickly moved back to where the others were, because the area around them probably still had a lot of poison.
They weren’t certain when the poison would dissipate, so it’s still better to move away from it.
When they entered the area where there’s a wind barrier, they saw that the others weren’t able to move any longer.
"How is it?" Treyton asked as soon as they entered.
"Jacob’s still studying it and hadn’t found anything, so he was currently making more of the antidote that we had taken.
The others couldn’t move any longer and their heartbeats had slowed down.
They hadn’t lost their consciousness, but they couldn’t reply; some could still slowly blink, but they probably couldn’t do it afterwards," Nathan replied while checking the other members around.
"You guys have been further affected, so it seemed that we had absorbed it not just through inhalation."
"What about you, how are you feeling? It looked like the antidote is already working further; you’re moving faster than before," Treyton said.
"Yes, it seems that the antidote is further taking effect, as I’m slowly regaining my speed and the numbness around my body is getting better."
While the two of them were talking, he went further to the shaded area and made his own chair with vines.
He sat on it while listening to what Treyton and the others were talking about while also looking around.
Derek couldn’t move any longer, so Nate, who was still able to move, was the one who was still maintaining the wind barrier around them, and Treyton had instructed that he had to keep maintaining it for a little while.
Afterwards, Treyton started gathering the metals around them again and then made the shelter he had made bigger until it covered the area where they were at.
Treyton didn’t make any windows any longer but thoroughly blocked all of it so that further poison or anything couldn’t enter.
Treyton also asked him to make another barrier with vines afterwards to have another layer of protection if anything happens.
So, Luciel put another layer of vines all around them again. With all the covers around them, Nate was finally able to release his hold on the wind barrier that he made and was only releasing some wind to circulate inside.
Nate was visibly relieved afterwards as he was obviously having a hard time in maintaining the wind barrier around them. He was indeed good at making a wind barrier and he could also hold it for a long time, but it was too draining according to him, as he was really better at detecting things further away.
In fact, Billy was actually better at making a wind barrier and he could also maintain it for a longer time; however, the range of the wind barrier he could make wasn’t enough yet, so Nate and Derek were the ones who made the barrier, and Nate continued maintaining it when Derek couldn’t move any longer.
After Treyton made their shelter larger, he also made his own chair and sat down while waiting for Jacob to finish what he was doing and chatting with Nathan, who was still moving around to check the condition of all the other members.
After waiting for two minutes, Jacob, who had been focused on mixing a lot of things, said, "I made it!"
"Good job! But is that enough for everyone?" Treyton said while looking at the flask that Jacob was holding. The flask that Jacob was holding doesn’t contain a lot of antidote at all.
"I only have enough ready materials for this amount. They only have to drink a bit of this to maintain their state and not worsen further.
I’m not sure about how much the poison would affect their bodies, so I can only make them drink this bit of antidote until I finish another antidote that really works for the poison."
Treyton nodded and said, "Ok, just give it to them first." 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Jacob hurriedly started dividing the dose for every member of the group, and Nathan and Nate helped in giving it to all the members of the team.
