Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 984 - 410: Constructing Rebirth
The Sound of Dawn sets out once again.
Towards the direction they had decided upon long ago.
In the captain’s cabin, Alka sits quietly, examining the map under the bright light.
This map, completed just a few days ago, is of Wraith Island.
The map is drawn with exceptional detail.
However, Alka can see the entire island glowing red with just a blink of his eyes.
Simply put, there is a treasure.
The good news is: the treasure is a top-level crown.
The bad news is: the treasure is the whole island.
So when Alka broke through the mist to look towards the island shrouded in mist, he could see a ring of red light.
Reaching out to point at this island.
Or rather, clicking on the whole map.
[Isle of No Rebirth]
[Difficulty: Fearless of Death]
[Fame: 0]
[Treasure Information: Some kind of death-related divinity has been infused into this island, a missing piece of the world’s cycle.
This island controls a large group of those who cannot reincarnate; they are the best evidence of this island’s existence.]
The treasure information is quite vague, but it roughly reflects some issues of the island.
Simply put, it should be some kind of function, or divinity that controls the world’s cycle, which became integrated into the island as the world was destroyed.
Turning the island into a crown-level treasure.
Just as Alka and they had speculated before.
Either the death of a divine or the shattering of the world caused some divinity to be left behind.
They were either obtained by those who recognized their value, crafted into perfect containers, and integrated.
Or freely scattered in deserted places, possibly merging with various items due to accidents.
At least they have seen it merge into some broken wooden signs, into a worn flagpole, into a fruit knife shaped like a dagger, and so on.
Now they can add one more.
Merged with an entire island.
Perhaps only a crown level could have such capability.
Although Alka cannot quite understand the abilities of this treasure, it likely has some relation to rebirth.
The living spirits on the island are probably bound there due to some abilities of the treasure.
Seeing the difficulty of the treasure and the fact that the treasure is the entire island, Alka has little desire to claim it.
Moreover, there is almost no treasure information.
Alka has conducted investigations these days.
Simply put, they are just poor souls bound to the island.
They are still praying for liberation from others.
They don’t know why they are bound, they just summarized some reasons and patterns over thousands of years.
But these are meaningless.
Simply put, this thing is not something Alka and they could touch now, just knowing about it will suffice.
Compared to becoming a treasure that is the entire island.
The real gain for them is rather the materials on the island.
These plants, stones, and even the spirits there truly live on a crown-level treasure.
Alka was just pondering something when his thoughts were interrupted.
Chadite and Lucilia came in, sitting in their respective seats. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Lucilia’s hand flicked, and a massive book fell onto the table, she opened the book with both hands.
"According to the book’s records, the materials obtained by the Vastva people back then were basically exchanged with gods possessing death and similar authority or related races.
Simply put, these materials cannot be acquired naturally, they only grow in some extremely special areas.
Or are artificially created."
What Lucilia said was precisely about the materials they obtained from the island.
Most of the island’s materials are related to life, death, and souls, exactly what they were lacking.
After all, they grow on such a crown-level treasure, understandable.
"So we deduce the island must have some peculiarities, why do you want to leave so quickly?" Chadite asked curiously, which is unlike something Alka would do.
Others also looked at Alka with curiosity.
After obtaining sufficient materials in the morning, they left without further exploring the island’s secrets.
It’s not something Alka usually does.
After uploading and checking more information, they found many more notable details about the island.
Alka looked at them, thought for a moment, and said, "The entire island, the whole island is a crown-level treasure."
Alka’s abrupt statement stunned everyone in place.
Then came contemplation.
"You mean the whole island is a treasure?" Jason thought for a moment and repeated.
Alka nodded again, "That’s right, the whole island is."
"In that case, that explains why the island is so special, and why there’s such a lack of death around," Julia said.
On the island, Julia was continually exploring the surrounding environment in more detail.
She sensed it’s not the area lacks death, but the world is compensating for death here, yet that death flows elsewhere and then disappears.
Now it seems it should be flowing into the island.
"So you judge this island or this treasure isn’t something we can acquire?"
