"You are a demon, Lucian.

Act like one."

Lucian nodded at those words, Vivienne nodded in satisfaction.

"Now then—

Gather the demonic energy again, just like I told you to."

She instructed and this time, Lucian did not complain, he simply gathered the energy in his hand and—

He punched.

The training continued.

She made him move at impossible speed with energy in his legs.

She made him dodge impossible attacks while his senses were enhanced.

She made him heal, then move, then strike, then suppress his hunger as it continued to get worse and worse.

And she made him do it again and again and again.

Until his demonic energy reserves fell to absolute bottom, until his body began to shake, until he... could no longer control his hunger anymore.

"RRAAAAGGGHHHHHHHH!!!"

Lucian lost his mind, the last bit of his will that stopped him from pouncing on Vivienne disappeared and without any warning, he jumped at her.

The floor cracked under his foot, the speed at which he moved was surprising, much faster than when he fought against the demon.

His hand reached for Vivienne, his fingers curved like claws, while his eyes burned with violet.

His movements were so certain that for a moment, it looked like Vivienne might actually be in a difficult spot, that she may not have enough time to outskill him but—

Vivienne then moved at an impossible speed, her hand moved past his defenses and grabbed his throat.

"RRRAAAHHHHGGHHHH!!!"

Lucian let out a roar, the purple in his eyes shined even stronger as he tried to tear her clothes apart but—

Vivienne lifted him into the air by his throat, he flailed his limbs aimlessly, but none of his attacks worked.

He was... overpowered.

Yes, not outskilled, he was overpowered.

Vivienne was stronger than him, not just in terms of skill or experience, but even in raw strength.

BOOOOM

The woman then drove his mindless self into the ground, the floor cracked.

"RRAAAAGGHHHHHHH!!!"

Lucian roared, but Vivienne was already holding his hands behind his back.

He was completely neutralized.

"Come in."

Vivienne commanded.

The instant she did, the doors of the training hall opened and a woman with an extremely seductive air around her walked in.

She was 5’7", her body was a mouth-watering hourglass, full, heavy breasts strained against the tight black crop top that clung to her like a second skin, exposing a toned midriff and the soft curve of her waist.

Her wide, fertile hips and thick thighs were hugged by high-waisted, form-fitting black leggings that left almost nothing to the imagination. Long, wavy chestnut hair with golden highlights cascaded down her back, swaying with each step.

Her warm caramel skin glowed under the hall lights, and her hazel eyes scanned the room with a calm look.

"Lady Vivienne."

She bowed her head, her eyes shining the moment they fell on Lucian. Vivienne nodded at her, then, she pressed a point behind Lucian’s neck and his mindless body that was still resisting suddenly passed out.

"Take care of him."

Vivienne ordered as she stepped away from him.

"As you command."

The woman nodded.

She walked towards him and carried him with ease, clearly, with the strength she had, she was no ordinary human either.

"You have two hours."

"That will be enough."

The woman nodded and then walked away with Lucian in her arms.

Vivienne watched the two of them leave and finally, one minute after the door closed, a small, almost dangerous smile appeared on her face.

When she decided to train Lucian for a month straight, she had a straightforward plan.

By the end of the first week, she intended to teach him how to sense Demonic Energy.

By the second, she was going to teach him how to move the Demonic Energy.

The third was supposed to focus on using the demonic energy to raise his strength, senses, healing and whatnot.

The fourth was for him to start understanding his Incubus Nature and having better control over it.

That was how it was supposed to be and honestly, for an untrained human who was a normal person just 2 days ago, this was already more than what most could take but...

Lucian was much, much, much more different than she expected.

What she was planning to teach him in a month—

He learned it in a day, no, he learned it in a few hours.

And it surprised and, at some level, horrified her.

Every time she pointed out a mistake, his mind followed, then his body improved.

Strength was common enough.

She had seen children strong enough to break stones, every awakened generation produced a few monsters who could throw cars, bend steel, or survive bullets.

What made Lucian different was not his strength, it was the rate at which he improved, the rate at which his body adapted and... his desperate discipline.

Vivienne had trained prodigies from old families who broke after being corrected twice, most of her students had actually abandoned her training because they simply couldn’t hold out.

But Lucian?

He took everything she threw at him.

Unlike others, who feared failure, Lucian trained like he was used to it. It was almost as if failure had no effect on him at all.

He kept trying and trying again, endlessly, without feeling frustrated or humiliated.

A gem.

An unpolished gem that had almost endless potential.

That was what Lucian Cross was.

And as Vivienne thought about him, for the first time in years, she felt... excited.

Which was surprising since it wasn’t exactly easy to excite her, the Enclave bored her, the Old Families bored her, even the other Supernatural Entities bored her.

But Lucian...?

He felt different.

Because unlike them, she couldn’t predict how far he would go.

For the first time in a long while, Vivienne actually felt excited about training someone, so she decided—

She turned, looked at the door and she made up her mind.

He learned everything she planned to teach him in a month in less than a day, did he not?

So she was going to teach him that.

And that.

And perhaps, if he survived, even that.

Just the thought made her eyes brighten faintly.

She was going to break him.

She was going to push him until his body failed.

She was... going to make him an entirely different person.

All in one month.
