"Carlotta, even though you raised Janelle single-handedly." Nathan Mills looked up, his voice steady but filled with a suppressed heartache, "But can you say that you don’t owe her anything?"

She was busy with work and seldom communicated with her daughter.

"Are you finished?" Carlotta, still with her arms crossed, glared down at him, "If you’re done, please leave! You’re not welcome here!"

Nathan Mills was taken aback for a moment, why was her temper flaring so abruptly?

Meeting his ex-wife’s impatient gaze, before Nathan Mills could say anything else, Carlotta came over and pulled him up, "Please leave! This is not where you should be! Go wherever you belong!"

She no longer had the patience to listen to him, every extra second added to her irritation!

"Get out! Didn’t you hear me?" Carlotta shouted at him, thinking of his current wife, her heart filled with rage!

Facing his suddenly hostile wife, Nathan Mills suddenly couldn’t say anything, he initially wanted to explain a bit more but was instead forcibly thrown out by her madness!

"Get out! I don’t want to see you again!"

Hearing the shouting, Janelle anxiously opened her room door, just in time to see her father being pushed out.

With a bang, the suite’s door was closed!

Carlotta turned around angrily, only to meet her daughter’s eyes at the door not far away, mother and daughter exchanged a brief look.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Janelle walked out, dissatisfaction in her tone and expression, "How can you treat dad like this? Can’t you communicate properly?"

"Janelle Mills! You went behind my back to see him?!" Carlotta glared at her furiously, "You traitor!"

After saying that, the woman stormed to the coffee table, grabbed the bouquet of roses, and angrily threw it at the door that had just closed!

The sudden sound startled the girl, causing her shoulders to shrink and Janelle closed her eyes.
