She screamed shrilly, putting every last ounce of strength into her escape.

"ROAR!"

Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed out, and water splashed everywhere.

An enormous green demon beast leaped from beneath the water’s surface. Brimming with ferocious Qi Energy, it roared like a fierce tiger and lunged, trying to bite down viciously on Chen Xuan’s body.

"Vile beast!"

A cold glint flashed in Chen Xuan’s eyes.

The instant the green demon beast pounced, Chen Xuan’s massive, vein-popped hand, as large as a cattail fan, slammed onto its cheek with a resounding BOOM.

The immense, terrifying force first shattered the beast’s face, sending blood flying. Then, a terrifying wave of Dark Energy pierced through its facial bones like countless fine needles, blasting into its brain.

Chen Xuan was now several times stronger than when he had last encountered it.

The green demon beast let out a wretched cry. Its entire brain throbbed with excruciating pain, and scorching steam rose from its face as if it had been cooked.
