Urban Divine Doctor Saint Hand
Chapter 22 A Warm Heart
Zhang Hao finished pulling up his pants and stepped out of the stall first, while Song Xin sat on the toilet lid, still panting heavily, her cheeks flushed with a color that had not yet faded.
Standing in the open space, Zhang Hao coughed twice, and the sound of flushing water came from the second-to-last stall.
Seconds later, a man wearing glasses emerged from inside, and the moment his eyes met Zhang Hao’s, his face turned beet red.
Then, with his head down, he hurried away. Zhang Hao took another look at Song Xin and gave her a look, signaling her it was time to come out if she wanted to.
Breathing heavily, Song Xin’s chest rose and fell erratically. The recent activities had really exhausted her.
But she cooperated with Zhang Hao, stood up, touched up her hair a little, zipped up her skirt, and came out.
The two of them exited one after the other, and Song Xin bumped into a man who was coming to use the facilities.
When the man saw a beautiful woman walking straight towards him, he abruptly stopped and looked up at the sign hanging on the wall.
It was the men’s restroom, no mistake.
Song Xin quickened her pace and caught up with Zhang Hao, who was now far ahead.
"Why didn’t you wait for me? That man kept looking at me; it scared me to death."
Zhang Hao eyed Song Xin and said softly, "You weren’t scared to do that kind of thing with me in a men’s restroom just now, but you’re scared of being stared at by a strange man."
Flushed, Song Xin punched Zhang Hao’s back with her small fist.
"You really have a way with words, huh? And besides, didn’t you find what we just did exciting?"
It was indeed exciting, but Zhang Hao felt that this kind of situation should not happen again in the future.
"Let’s add each other on WeChat, so we can get in touch if there’s anything in the future."
Zhang Hao took out his phone and scanned Song Xin’s QR code.
He sent the friend request, recalling how back in college, he actually wanted to ask for Song Xin’s WeChat.
But at that time, he was too shy to add her, and even after graduation, he never sent the friend request.
Who would have thought that after all this time, he’d finally get the WeChat of his goddess.
Only, he felt somewhat uncomfortable inside. The goddess in his mind, pure and noble, untouchable like a flower on a high peak, turned out to be a slut who spread her legs upon seeing a man.
Song Xin quickly accepted the friend request, even changing Zhang Hao’s nickname for her.
"I’ll go get the report first. Let’s get together again when we have time. I know a lot more, I promise to make you incredibly happy."
Before leaving, Song Xin playfully kissed Zhang Hao’s cheek.
Then she bounced away jubilantly.
Watching Song Xin’s retreating figure, Zhang Hao was contemplative.
He glanced at the WeChat chat page again, opened Song Xin’s profile picture, and adjusted her friend permissions.
Zhang Hao walked out of the hospital, and it was nearly one o’clock.
To celebrate finding a job, he bought a lot of good stuff on the way home. Passing by his cousin’s house, he didn’t forget to drop off a portion for them as well.
But this act of kindness turned problematic — Zhang Hao thought his cousin wouldn’t be home at this time and intended to drop the stuff and leave if only his cousin’s wife was there.
As it turned out, both the cousin and his wife were in!
Liu Gang, hearing about his cousin’s new job, was in high spirits and insisted on going out to buy a fish to stew and eat.
Even though Zhang Hao tried to stop him multiple times, it was no use.
With the cousin gone, only Zhang Hao and his cousin’s wife were left at home.
This time, He Qianhui was dressed normally, without anything too extravagant, yet her proud figure could not be concealed.
"Hao, your clothes are all cleaned by your sister-in-law. I’ll put them in a bag for you. Remember to take it back with you later."
Zhang Hao, seated on the sofa with a bit of reserve, responded with an "Oh."
He Qianhui saw that Zhang Hao still couldn’t let go and came to sit down by him, "What’s wrong, are you nervous being alone with your sister-in-law?"
Zhang Hao picked up his cup and took a sip to ease the tension.
Actually, he didn’t know why he felt like this, given that he had already been intimately involved with his sister-in-law twice.
"Getting shy now? When you were rough in bed, you made me so sore there, weren’t you shy then?"
After He Qianhui finished speaking, she reached out and poked Zhang Hao hard on the forehead.
"Sister-in-law, maybe I should just go, I need to work tomorrow, I should prepare in advance."
But then, Zhang Hao was stopped by his sister-in-law again.
In the city hospital there were plenty of female doctors and nurses, and Zhang Hao working there meant he would interact with more girls rather than fewer.
This made He Qianhui begin to worry again.
"Hao, do you think your sister-in-law is pretty, more beautiful than those women outside?"
Zhang Hao didn’t expect He Qianhui to ask such a question. He was stunned for a moment, then said, "Pretty, and beautiful, but you’re my sister-in-law."
The first two sentences satisfied He Qianhui, but the additional one made her feel extremely uncomfortable.
"You little brat, would you die if you didn’t say that last part?"
While they were talking, Liu Gang came back, not only with the fish but also with a lot of seafood, including abalone, oysters, and shrimp!
Among them, he bought the most oysters, probably not less than three to five hundred.
"Cousin, aren’t you overdoing it, buying so much?"
Liu Gang laughed and said, "Oysters are like a gas station for men, and a beauty salon for women, and they’re not expensive. Let’s have your sister-in-law prepare them, and we can drink a bit too."
Seafood doesn’t require very complicated preparation, just steaming them will do.
During the waiting time, Liu Gang didn’t hesitate to start inquiring.
"Hao, you’ll be a doctor in the future, can’t you pull some strings for your cousin, give this place a check-up?"
As he spoke, Liu Gang pointed to his crotch, and Zhang Hao, getting the hint, explained, "Cousin, that’s not for me to decide, I can’t just give you a green light because I work there."
When Liu Gang heard his cousin say that, his expression became slightly unpleasant.
"If I was fine down there, I wouldn’t need you. Ungrateful wretch, don’t you dare touch my Qianhui again next time!"
Zhang Hao was puzzled, wondering what the connection was between the two. Could it be that from the beginning, it was his cousin’s doing after all?
He Qianhui, who was in the kitchen, heard everything clearly. Now, what she feared the most was the day Zhang Hao would stop coming around.
Or that her man would refuse to let the two of them get too close.
As she was cutting vegetables, the sharp knife sliced her hand and He Qianhui couldn’t help crying out.
Both men in the living room rushed into the kitchen upon hearing her.
Liu Gang, seeing his wife’s finger cut, became somewhat flustered.
Zhang Hao immediately asked if there was any gauze at home, and He Qianhui pointed to the tea table in the living room, "It’s all there."
"Sister-in-law, quickly go to the tap, rinse off the blood with water, I’ll be right there."
He Qianhui did as Zhang Hao told her, placing her hand under the tap to wash away the blood. The cut was actually not big, and after a while the bleeding slowed.
Zhang Hao brought the first aid kit and found iodine and gauze inside.
He Qianhui endured the pain as she watched the iodine being applied to the wound, "Why does this color look so much like braised pig’s feet?"
Zhang Hao said with a laugh, "Your hand doesn’t look like a pig’s trotter, it’s much prettier than that."
To He Qianhui, even these simple words felt heartwarmingly intimate.
