URBAN VILLAIN SYSTEM
Chapter 200: Hubby, Is that You?!
Lily Frost stood outside the enormous Clark Family gates with her hands clasped behind her back while trying very hard to suppress the smile threatening to appear on her face.
The challenge letter had already been delivered more than an hour ago, and ever since then she had been waiting outside like an ordinary village girl seeking an audience with a powerful family young master. Unfortunately, her thoughts were anything but ordinary.
The more she thought about it, the more ridiculous the situation became.
"There’s no way it can be him," she muttered quietly while kicking a small pebble along the stone road. "The World Tree assigns identities according to fate. How could Tony end up as the young master of a first-rate family again? If that’s really him, then heaven must secretly be his father."
A nearby guard glanced at her strangely.
Meanwhile, Lily’s thoughts continued racing.
She still remembered waking up inside the body of a village girl and feeling slightly disappointed. She had expected at least a decent family background. Instead, she received a small village, a wooden house, and several chickens.
"Still..." Lily muttered. "Tony shouldn’t be this lucky."
Just as she finished speaking, the enormous family gates slowly opened. Several servants stepped aside respectfully.
A young man walked out while reading a challenge letter.
The moment Lily saw him, her eyes narrowed. That face wasn’t exactly Tony’s. Yet something felt familiar. The way he walked... The way he carried himself. The annoying confidence radiating from every movement.
Lily immediately became interested.
Meanwhile, Tony was completely focused on the challenge letter.
"So a village girl challenges me... The ancient world truly has no respect for hierarchy."
As he approached the gate, another scene attracted his attention. Two servants stood beside the entrance talking enthusiastically.
One servant was explaining some gambling story while the other laughed loudly. Their conversation was so lively that neither seemed to care about anything happening around them.
Including the arrival of their own young master. Tony slowed his pace.
The servants continued talking.
Tony stood there for several seconds.
The servants remained completely focused on their discussion.
One of them even glanced in Tony’s direction before casually looking away again.
Tony smiled... A dangerous smile.
Lily immediately recognized it.
Without warning, Tony stepped forward and drove his foot directly into one servant’s stomach.
"AAAAAH!"
The unfortunate man flew through the air before crashing against a stone pillar several meters away.
The second servant froze. His face turned pale... His brain completely stopped working.
Lily covered her mouth.
Not because she felt sympathy. Because she was trying not to laugh. The scene was simply too familiar.
Tony clasped both hands behind his back and slowly walked toward the remaining servant.
"Interesting."
The servant immediately dropped to his knees. "Young Master!"
Tony tilted his head. "So you can speak."
"Young Master, forgive me!"
Tony ignored the plea. "Tell me something. Did the Clark Family change ownership overnight? Have I become a servant while sleeping? Or have you become the family patriarch without informing me?"
The servant nearly cried. "Young Master, I..."
"You what?"
"I made a mistake."
Tony nodded seriously. "That’s true. Continue."
The servant’s face twitched.
Even Lily had to admit that Tony had become more annoying than before.
Tony looked toward the servant who was still rolling on the ground while holding his stomach.
Then he sighed. "If I can’t even receive a greeting while leaving my own home, perhaps the servants have become too comfortable."
The kneeling servant immediately started kowtowing. "Young Master, please forgive us!"
Tony pointed toward a nearby wall.
"You."
The servant looked up hopefully. "Kneel there until evening."
The servant’s expression collapsed.
Tony continued calmly. "If I see you standing before sunset, I’ll transfer your entire family to stable duty. If I catch you slacking again after today, I’ll hang you upside down from the gate and use your body as an example during servant training."
The servant nearly fainted.
Meanwhile, the servant who had been kicked actually looked relieved. Compared to kneeling all day, a kick suddenly felt merciful.
Lily watched everything with amusement. Now she was absolutely certain... One hundred percent. Without question... This was her husband Tony.
No other person could turn a simple greeting issue into a public lesson.
Tony finally turned toward her... His eyes swept across her figure.
Then he nodded thoughtfully. "You’re the village girl?"
Lily nodded.
Tony folded the challenge letter. "You know, sending challenge letters to handsome men is dangerous."
Lily blinked. "Why?"
Tony sighed dramatically. "Because some women accidentally fall in love after losing."
Lily nearly laughed.
Still shameless, Still Tony.
She decided to play along. "So you’re admitting you’ll lose?"
Tony looked offended. "Young lady, I am trying to be polite."
"That’s your polite version?"
"Yes."
"Terrifying."
Tony nodded proudly. "I hear that often."
Lily could barely contain her laughter. The fool hadn’t recognized her. Not at all. That realization immediately inspired mischief.
"Young Master Tony, Don’t your wife might kick you if she sees us talking like this?"
Tony waved his hand. "My wife is reasonable."
Lily laughed.
Tony became increasingly suspicious. "You seem very brave. I originally planned to accept your challenge and send you away with a few bruises."
Lily crossed her arms. "And now?"
Tony pointed at her with the challenge letter. "Now I’ve decided to break a few bones."
Lily rolled her eyes. "Hubby, you still haven’t recognized me?"
The nickname struck Tony like lightning.
’Hubby...!;
Only one person used that name. Tony’s eyes widened. "No way... Lily?"
"Correct."
Tony pointed at her face. "Village girl?"
Lily pointed at his. "Family prince?"
The two stared. Then simultaneously burst into laughter.
The surrounding servants looked completely confused. What was happening? Moments ago they were enemies. Now they looked like old friends.
Tony shook his head. "This world is unfair."
Lily immediately agreed. "Exactly! I became a village girl while you became a family prince."
Tony looked proud. "Clearly fate recognizes talent."
Finally he grabbed her wrist. "Come."
Lily blinked. "Where?"
"Inside."
"Just like that?"
"This is my house."
Lily followed while shaking her head.
The two walked through the gates together while talking and laughing like old friends reunited after years apart.
Behind them, every servant had stopped working. Mouths hung open... Eyes widened. Rumors exploded instantly.
The young master had been married for one day. And now he was personally holding another beautiful girl’s hand while bringing her into the family estate.
By lunchtime, the entire Clark Family would know. By evening, the entire city would know. And by tomorrow morning... A certain wife named Skylar would definitely know.
Tony, however, seemed completely unaware of the disaster approaching. Or perhaps... He simply didn’t care.
