As he reached the ground floor of the Healing Tower, he suddenly stopped.

Someone stood ahead.

’Peak Master Natasha...!’

She stared directly at Tony.

"What are you doing here at this time?" she asked with a questioning look while observing Tony from head to toe.

Tony scratched his head slightly, letting out a dry laugh.

"Peak master, aren’t you sleeping?" Tony asked back with an innocent face.

Her eyes narrowed. "I asked you a question. Tell me, what are you doing here at this time?" She asked again with an angry glare.

"I just finished memorizing the book you have given, the complete canon of Natural Healing."

Tony didn’t have time to cover up... So, he directly told a lie without much thought. But after saying that, he felt like slapping himself!

Tony continued the lie as there is no turning back now. "I just came here to find some herbs so that I can practice while memorizing," Tony lied directly while concealing with an awkward smile.

Peak master Natasha got angry after hearing his reply.

"Tony, what do you take me for? Do you think I am an idiot? It’s not even one day. Even the top genius like Emma took five days to memorize the canon of natural healing. How can you do it in a few hours? Stop joking or else I will get angry," Natasha asked again with a serious look as she felt irritated by Tony’s answer.

Tony felt the pressure.

For a brief moment— He almost reconsidered his answer.

But stepping back now was not an option.

"Peak Master, just give me a task if you don’t believe me. I really did it. All these days I thought I have no talent in martial path... but today I understood that I have excellent talent in healing arts. You must believe me," Tony said in a convincing tone.

Natasha stared at him with a cold look.

"Oh... so you are speaking the truth," she muttered under her breath, her irritation clearly visible. "Then tomorrow... by evening, gather all the herbs needed for the treatment of my associate, Emma Rock."

She began listing them... One after another. Rare herbs... Difficult locations. More than thirteen in total.

She spoke the names of all 13 herbs with a cold look. Tony didn’t interrupt... he silently recorded her voice and simply nodded with a smile.

"As you command my lady," Tony said casually.

Then he turned and walked away.

Behind him, Natasha remained standing, her gaze fixed on his retreating figure.

Her lips tightened slightly. "Just wait, Tony... after tomorrow evening you will face the punishment for your fake bravado."

***

Tony stepped into his residence and closed the door behind him with a slow, deliberate motion.

For a few seconds, he stood there without moving, his expression unreadable.

Then—

"Idiot..."

He cursed himself with gritted teeth.

Tony ran his hand through his hair and walked toward the center of the room before dropping onto the meditation mat.

"What was I thinking?" he muttered, leaning back slightly as he stared at the ceiling. "Memorized the entire canon in a few hours... even I wouldn’t believe that."

He spat in annoyance.

Peak Master Natasha was not someone he could casually deceive. The moment he said those words, he had essentially dug a pit for himself and jumped into it willingly.

"And now I have to actually deliver results..."

Tony closed his eyes briefly, replaying the conversation in his mind. The long list of herbs, the locations, the timeline— everything had been thrown at him without mercy. Under normal circumstances, even experienced disciples would struggle to gather those materials within three days’ time.

"At least I recorded everything," he said quietly.

The watch recorder replayed the names of the herbs one by one, clear and precise. That small trick of recording saved him from a far bigger problem.

Still—

That only solved half the issue. Gathering herbs was one thing.. Healing Emma Rock?!

That was something else entirely.

Tony’s gaze darkened slightly as he sat upright.

"System..."

A faint blue glow appeared before him instantly.

The interface expanded, displaying the inheritance catalog once again. This time, Tony filtered the options, limiting the selection strictly to those within his current reach.

"Show me healer inheritances under 500 fate points."

The system responded immediately.

Several options appeared.

Tony began scanning them one by one.

Tony leaned back slightly, tapping his fingers against his knee.

"Six months... ninety days... all of them require time."

His eyes narrowed.

"But I don’t have time to wait and learn these techniques."

He scrolled further.

One option after another appeared, each carrying its own conditions, each demanding something he didn’t have— time, experience, or compatibility.

For the first time, Tony felt a hint of real pressure.

"If this is all... I don’t need to waste my 500 fate points." he muttered.

Then— He paused.

Something different caught his attention.

At the bottom of the interface— A panel shimmered.

Gold...!

The screen radiating with a distinct brilliance that stood apart from everything else.

Tony’s eyes moved. "What is this...?!"

He tapped it... The interface expanded instantly. And the moment he read it...

He choked.

"Cough...!"

His expression shifted into something between disbelief and confusion.
